A friend of mine had a Dodge Dart, I’m not certain if it was a 67. His I recall, had the 273 Hypo Engine and was light creamy Yellow. Not exactly my color, although another friend had a 69 Dodge Coronet RT 440 4 Speed that was the same color with a Black Vinyl Top. (In 1977, I let that one get away. The Bank wouldn’t give me $1,800 towards a $2,200 asking price. I was 22 and just started my first job. LOL, a job I had for 33 years!) The Dart was a Screamer as to the way he drove it. It was a Stick Car, a 4 Speed Hurst Shifter I think. A 17 year old kid talked him into giving him “First Dibs” on purchasing the car, which he did end up buying it. It remained around town and is possibly still garaged away. I’m not sure if the kid got killed in a car accident in another State or not as the rumor had it.
