After Harley-Davidson ended the XL1200CX a.k.a. Sportster Roadster they also decided to end a lot of other parts for it. So I turned to Amazon to try and find some parts and lo and behold I at least found the Clip-on bars I was looking for.
This isn't so much an install how-to video but it does touch on some basic concepts and tips and so you can get a feel for the aesthetics of it. These clip-on bars are still available on amazon so I'll post some links below should you decide to go this route yourself.

Dude that tank bib I found on eBay years ago when I had another 2004 Sportster back in 2011. Never found it again. But occasionally I do go back and look. Type “tank bib lattice”

you are the only one on RUclips that I could find that has the setup that I want to do with my roadster...only difference is that I want to do the bar end turn signals with the mirrors as well. How is the ride on a long trip, i.e. and hour plus ride? @Paul On the Run
I do pretty good for the most part. I feel I do need to swap out my grips for something a little more cushy. Generally speaking I run out gas before I run out of ass. Deuces ✌🏼
@@PaulOnTheRun noice! So, the clip ons are not terribly uncomfortable from the sounds of it. I have a set on the HD clip ons but haven’t pulled the trigger on installing them yet.😅😅😅
Paul. good to see you again. I’ve owned two sportsters in my life. I love them. I would have another one now, but my balance is a little off. That’s why I have the triglide, but good to see you working again.

How has the clip ons been treating you? And what did you torque the bolts to?
I sure do not remember the torque values but it doesn’t take much. Definitely inch lbs and not foot lbs.. So far the clip nos are great but I do need to swap out my grips for something more cushy. Deuces ✌🏼
