Do you know that you can flip each loop into a (kind of) cow hitch, bring the new line through, and flip back the new knot, just like you can flip reef knots (square knots in the US) over and back. Same result for much less effort. But I do like your design.
Started this today. Got the first row of hitches done. What really slows you down is running the remaining 50 foot tail through each loop. I’m dying here! 😵
Definitely. Ive been trying EVERYTHING for cord management What i found is using my toe to hold the cord straight while pulling it through minimizes twisting. But i cant find anything better to do yet
Wrap the cord around yor fingers and tie it off on the middle like a bow. You can pull more cord ar you need it from the bow and still have like 2 ft to work with at a time. You just have to leave the hitches loose enough to pass the whole thing through and then tighten it
If you are wanting to make this wrap and you do a feel loops, don’t get discouraged by the time it takes for each hitch. It gets better as you go since the rope is starting to get shorter and shorter. Keep going kings. 👑
@@frederiklist4265 If you have the room stretch the rope all the way out and do it like that. What I do is keep making coils on each side of me and untangle as I go.
This is a really cool way to wrap a bottle! I have experemented with this kind of wrap before because it can also be used to make paracord nets and net bags which is fun to do. Keep up the great content!
Thank you so much for sharing this. I did this today. My first experiment with paracord. The outcome looks fantastic (not as beautiful as yours) and hope it keeps my bottle dent and scratch free. May be, because this is my first time dealing with paracord, it took me a lot of time. Almost 5 hours. It was fun anyways. Thanks.
I really appreciate your video!!! I just finished doing this on my 1 gallon plastic bottle!!! it's my first time learning this and it turned out really cool!!! thank you!!!
if you carry around fuel bottles in this net, make sure you melt the starting knot and the ending knot into the net. Like plastic welding of some sort ^^ - in the clip, those knots look like they might break if it comes to sudden shocks or constant wear. You would not want those knots to break while carrying fuel bottles.
Nice Project, very comprehensively presented. Since you might open and close the net frequently on the top: Wouldn't it be better to start with a doubled half hitch? Even with the end molten down I would be afraid that that single overhand loosens with time.
I took out a new belt bag for a jog the other day and the crappy little elastic pocket on the bag dropped my bottle ten minutes into my run. Going to use this weave to make myself a thigh holster for my water bottle. Thanks man! 😎
I'm looking to do something like this for the handle of a boat motor, with which you control the speed. I have the feeling this will be a bit to loose to work, but something like this would be great!
I would make an attachment for the lid to the neck of the bottle as well. I made mine by looping one end to the water can and then making making half hitches with alternate sides after it was 6 inches long, I tied it to the loop part of the lid. This took about 40 inches of paracord.
I have a 40oz water bottle that I wanted to put on my belt, so I cut part of a pant leg of an old pair of jeans and sewed one end shut and put my water bottle in, I also made a loop by the top for a carabiner.
Wonderful use and it looks beautiful. I am going to try it on some of my special glasses cut and polished from painted beer bottles, some of which need to be protected. hat color combination is also a great choice. One could say that you executed to creation without a hitch (LOL), thanks.
Hi! Thanks for the great tutorial, I’m about halfway through. Question, let’s say we’re out in the forest and need some rope for whatever reason, how quickly or easily is it to un-do all the ties on this bottle?
Yeah...i dont know man. I watched Counter Strike 2 videos ago, took a quick look at how to make cheese with a guy who said g'day curd nerds and ended up with you tying knots with paracord around a bottle. Thats quite a rabbit hole... Nice video btw. See ya next time.
Hi! Watching from the Philippines! I wanna try this on my 1.8L thermal bottle. I couldn’t find a boot cover for this size. How much para cord do you think I will use for 1.8L ?Many thanks for this very cool video.
Just a suggestion YMMV try soaking the cord in warm water then give it a mild stretch and let air dry in loose loops, hopefully this will relieve some of the tension induced in the manufacturing process.
This might seem like a weird request... But is there a tutorial in your videos that shows how to make a horizontal belt holster? I wanna make one for my nunchuks 😅

I was thinking the exact same thing. It's gotta take some time.
Starting my second bottle wrap today. The final product is so cool, I decided to make another. I always get compliments on it

If this is used as a net, let's say to make a bridge, for kids to play with, do the cells remain even or do they widen under weight?

Second one, good video
Wow, I been making these for years with this style
Love that Critical Role Lofi in the background. Respect.
I truly like d video. I'm very excited to do it also for my aqua flask. Thank you
Very satisfying to watch. Awesome work.
This is really cool. I made it for a taller Hydroflask and used a ranger bead instead of the cord stopper. Still looks awesome tho.
So cool
I made this with An mat black Botle and neon Orange string its so cool!
Thanks a lot. This idea gave me the best result for by bottle container that I made.
Cool technique and video
This is awesomeeee.
Ok I'm gonna do this right now ! Thank you for your awsome videos
wow what an awesome sub worth video. glad youtube suggested it to me
Amazing and beautiful! Will have to do this one for sure!
Very good congratalations for you Job 👍👍😁 wonderful
Such a wrap add a nice feature to your bottle: make it wet to cool your water about 15°Celsius under air temperature!

Hey Tim, just realized that you did a point mistake in the video. 50ft is 15.2 meters and not 1.52m 😅👍🏽

I'm going to do a version of this to anchor my bottle to a paddle board on both the top and bottom ends, to two separate D-rings!

very nice bro
Can you do a tutorial on how to attach a shoulder along to this bottle wrap?? Is it possible?
What do you to maintain your cord? Preventing it from over twisting? Easier ways to keep cording separated and maintainable?
I have the same twisting problem...I have asked this question many times in many videos...no one every has a suggestion!
Just a suggestion YMMV try soaking the cord in warm water then give it a mild stretch and let air dry in loose loops, hopefully this will relieve some of the tension induced in the manufacturing process.
Why don’t they wrap paracord like they wrap yarn? Yarn doesn’t twist when you pull it from the middle of the skaen.
I have a jbl boombox and I think this would work perfectly...
Amazing
Excelente, hice una para mí termo de café. Gracias

I made some bottle raps with French hitching but they were permanent not adjustable. Might have to make one of those cows hitch ones
