I love how simple and good-looking this is. It's literally just tying a bunch of basic knots around a handle, but it works so well!
Very well done how to and I say thank you for taking the time and putting the energy and thought into teaching those of us who are not well versed in making paracord knots. Who gives a greasy turkey IF "the second "small loop" has nothing to do with anything." To those who complain about your method of teaching, all I can say is, I don't see any how to videos from them...So thank you again for caring enough to teach a new skill to those who genuinely want to learn and grow with.
Buy yourself some balls and repeat that sentence under the comment that said that, or maybe you genuinely don't want to learn and grow to be a man?
Thank you! #cbys
thank you, i just repaired my old bundeswehr knife.
the sleeve was broken, i covered the old sleeve with paracord, it is so nice now
Congratulations :D
I'm sure it looks sexy now.
Thanks so much for this vid. Im not thee most craft talented person but my knife handle hand worn out to the point i couldnt use the knife anymore. Now I can take it with me everywhere again. This knife carried me through a few good Article 15 Extra Duties lmao. Glad to have it back!
THANK YOU!! always felt intimidated to try this, but this video was super quick and easy. Very grateful. gave my new hunting knife a much better feel.
Thanks for the tutorial. I just bought a machete and I'm going to Paracord the handle. This is nice and easy yet effective way to do that. I appreciate it!
Without any doubts you are to be an excellent teacher. . teaching skill is an art sadly menny huge amounts lack it & yet they call themselves teacher ! Thumbs up for you your teaxhing skills i loved the parts especially first one you give oeople ample time to learn it by heart without any notes taking 👍😍
Thanks man. I just dressed out the first knife my son and I forged together and it turned out great. Awesome directions 👌🏻
Thats awesome...how extensive is a project like that? Can you forge a knife in your garage?
Thank You, for so patiently going through the sequence for this dummy on how to accomplish this wrap. (even though it's basic knots) I'll be able to do a number of my knife handles now.
This was exactly what I was looking for to hide the transitions between colors on a multicolor paracord project I'm doing. Thank you. Your video was very helpful.
Glad it was helpful!
Hey mate. I truly do hate when people over complicate to educate. Tie a square knot from top to bottom........done.
Anyway im in a wrong site coz i typed whip cream , paracord knot, country wife (might have typed knife by mistake) and it led me here...carry on.
I love that you used those tiny SAK scissors but had the giant shears right there
Thank You!

I came to the comments just for this one.
Thank you, used this for a hatchet I found in the woods. Cleaned it up and used this to replace the handle. This was my first time using paracord and this video made the process very easy. /salute
That's Great!
Hatchet you found in the woods? Murder weapon perhaps?
As a Wildsteer knives owner this is very instructive !
Thank you!
Just wrapped my new knife this way. All I’ve ever done is cobra wraps. This is so much better! Thank you!
I really like your tutorials. I have a couple of old knives that I will be replacing the handles and giving to my grandchildren.
Wow, Great.
After watching the video, I feel so RELAXED.
Thank you! #cbys
Very nice and easy. Made a knife at home and was trying to come up with ideas for a handle. Very, simple, easy and helpful. Thank you!
Thank you!
Klas.
I really irritated my brother today and it caused him to have a bit of a breakdown. First I burst through his door and kept yelling "GIVE ME A HUG!" in a weird voice. Afterwards I decided to fix up a machete of his. The cord was a complete mess and the blade was extremely rusted. I got most of the rust off but I didn't know how to fix the cord. This video helped me a lot. Thank you very much! This really helped! Thank you.
Thank You!

Simple and effective as well as having a very nice look. I am going to try this as an axe handle guard.
So simple yet neat. It looks like it would be comfortable too.
A suggestion - Use a heat gun and melt "Sno-Seal" into the paracord and it becomes waterproof and grippy.
Or dip in clear flex seal liquid
Hi from France, simple but perfect !
Hello.
This style is simple and effective! I love it!
Appreciate!
Best video so far I’ve been trying to look up how to make a knife handle with no power tools like they would’ve done in the Viking ages and there are no videos that I can find I have some para cord I have a para cord fix blade and I’m now going to do this on my plate without the handle thank you so so much for this lovely Video and nice relaxing music God bless make you lucky peace and love
Отличный видеоурок! Все понятно, комфортно смотреть. Рукоять получается красивой и вероятно очень удобной.
Great job, looks nice. I have found it helpful to add a couple of small drops of super glue to the last knot to keep it tight.
I had to watch the video 87 times. I kept falling asleep part way through. :D

Go to the Settings wheel and make it play 2X normal speed.
Thanks for this video it helped a lot and was as detailed as it could be.
This looks hard but its easy to get the hang of it.
it really is so easy like I've always seen paracorded blades it looks so hard to do but I literally just learned how to do it in less than a minute
this is just what I needed for a little help getting a project done. thanks for putting this together to share, great content 👏👍
Why is everybody so critical? Even if one unnecessary step is shown, it's still very easy to follow, the video is only five minutes long, and you get the idea from the very beginning. Does every idea need to be presented in a perfected fashion? Anyway, the second small loop just makes it easier to pull the remaining cord through. It's just a little convenience trick, super helpful when using very long pieces of cord.
The way he makes the second loop and pulls it through is how you keep the cord from getting twisted up. If you just stick the end through and pull it will get twisted.
Used your method to put a nice cord hilt wrap on my Cold Steel practice sword, for years it's bothered me that the hilt was just a little bit skinny for my hands. Not any more! And the cord gives a better texture than the polycarbonate. Thanks!
A simple but effective BUNCH of overhang knots
Appreciate.
I customized my kikkerland katana handle umbrella with paracord wraps and weaves like this and it truly feels like my own now!
Very nice, I've made bracelets with this knot but that handle looks terrific and I bet gives a really good grip.
Thank you!
love this handle. simple yet looks good.
Found this video looking for methods of wrapping the handle on the tomahawk I use for camping (skinny wooden handle that gets slick in rain) worked perfectly and looks great
Thank you!
CBYS
great video, was alot more simple than I expected
Thank you! I got the hang of it and nicely repaired my hatchet only halfway into the video!
Thanks for this. I just got a great new knife but the handle has a couple of issues that will be sorted with a paracord wrap. I think this method is the best one for me.
Dude! ❤ This was awesome. I had to rewatch the video a few times while attempting to wrap a handle but I got it. And it looks amazing! Thank you for doing this!
I don't get it, why is it necessary to wrap it with paracord ? Please explain to me.... Thanks.
@@Ingca1234 it boils down to 2 things, shape of the handle & cheapness. If the handle is odd shaped and intricate with alot of tight spaces then Paracord wrap might be the option. Also if you have no handle material they sell Paracord at any hardware store for cheap.
اچھا لگا بہترین اختراع ہے❤️🇵🇰
Thank You!
So, a series of overhand knots, alternating from side to side.
Thanks for this video! I really hope it's as simple as you make it look. If my project turns out as good as it looks in my mind I'll have you to thank!!!
Thanks! very simple, sleek & could definitely help in a pinch!
Just used this pattern on an 1891 Mannlicher-Carcano Bayonet since the original wood handle is gone, looks pretty good for a first try.
His channel is outstanding. Lays out what one needs, goes slow enough for a 71 Y.O.
Very nice. This helped me with wrapping my first knife I made.
AWESOME!!! I want to wrap all my stuff in paracord, so freakin cool, thanks for the video!
Love this lesson. My first try at this. Looks and feels great . Will try another style next.
Nicely done! This was very helpful. Now I’m going to do mine in the same manner.
Thank you!
Best looking handle wrap I have seen and so simplistic!
Thank You!
I like it. It's easy and looks great. I would like to see a more elegant finishing knot though...
Thank You!

It looks really good as long as you cut the end knot super short and singe it right
Thanks man really helped me with making my knife.
I’m loving these videos! I’ve got lots of Paracord at home and always wanted to learn how to make things with it
Thank you for this simple but effective tutorial. I’m going to do this now on my SOG FastHawk tomahawk.

This is perfect for my axe guard. Simple but it looks kinda complicated. Plus it looks thicker than just a straight wrap
You always present great, interesting ideas. On hold at moment due to major hand surgery
Just restored a quality Brazilian machete and the handle was broken so I opted for using paracord as the new handle. Thanks for this!
Great to hear!
Dailen Adrian after a good amount of use it’s still holding up great
Looking at it, it appears to be just a basic overhand knot. Just make sure you are consistent with which side goes over the other. Works and looks the same way. Faster too.
Легко и изящно!!! Просто ЛайК!!!

i love paracord wraps as much as the nest guy, but you know what i love more than paracord wraps? micarta.
"The more you know!!" 🌈🌟
Thank you.👍
Nice job. I try it with an outdoor knife 👍🏼
The first knot you do before tying the bow in your shoe laces...
Do that while alternating sides.
Done.
It’s called an overhand knot, and you’re right, it’s the first thing you do when tying your shoes.
Would love to see how long it takes him to tie his shoes......
the guy had to make it slow for the numb nuts watching
@@tomhughes5123 really? I thought he was trying to remember how and kept forgetting
Klas.
He must work for the city. There’s probably 2 more guys standing around him propped up on a shovel. 🤣
But to be fair, it does looks cool and should be pretty simple.
If he tied his shoes that tight his feet would lose all circulation.
Thank you 👍 I’m off to wrap my Excalibur replica, the leather on handle is disintegrating, perfect solution. Cheers
So basically just tie knots in it all the way down...
How to determine length of Paracord for different lenght handle? Amazing video btw
I just wrapped my wrench 🔧 thank you!

Hello from Brazil! From Nomads! Amazing video! Big hug!
Appreciate.

Excellent instruction video. One of the best. Thank you.
Awesome and just what I needed! Many thanks!!
Nice and easy!
Thank you.
Thanks, nice Wildsteer Wild Tech by the way
Thanks, this is how I modified the handles on my Bart cham dao.
Easy to understand tutorials...thanks
Thank you! #cbys
Thanks for sharing !
Thank You.
Looks great! Very helpful! Appreciate your video
Appreciate!
Why complicate the instructions. The 2nd "small loop" has nothing to do with anything. The loop disappears once you pull it through the 1st loop. You're making a series of knots. Just say that.
I wasn't understanding all the fuss in the description, read the comments and got hit by the hammer of a good old fashionned "make a series of knots".
That make sense, thank you.
Thank you! #cbys
The loop is just so you don't have to go fishing for the end of the cord each time, you moron.
@@SOLDOZER Dont call people names. Its mean.
The way he makes the second loop and then pulls it through with the loop is how you keep the cord from getting twisted up. If you just stick the end through and pull the cord by the end it will twist sooner or later.
Amazing bro,
Thank u so much I've been looking for a way to make a handle and I found this one and it's perfect thanks👍👍
Nice! Going to try this on my machete
Simple n elegant
Sooo... A whole bunch of simple, underhand knots. Gotcha.
It's amazing.Thank you.
IF you're doing this with leather chording, make sure the nice side faces up on each knot.
Good job. You might like to try finishing with a constrictor knot. Safer and tidy. Good luck.
Yes, thanks
I would consider a drop of adhesive under the last knot, it is just overhand knots, very easy but very effective
Thank you!
CBYS
Thanks i used it for my english wrench
Very nice. I haven't seen that style wrap before.
Steve Osborn - It looks like a basic Snake knot to me.
Thank you!
its easyer than i thought
Great!
I have the same scissors ✂️.
They are EXCELLENT.
The video is pretty good, gave me some ideas.
Great! Thank You!
CbyS Paracord and More great videos. 👍🏻
very nice I'll be doing this on a necker knife. Thanks
Appreciate.
I use a similar style with paracord for my Tool Handles very effective actually and you get a good firm grip
Great video . I just used your technique to wrap a handle on a seax im working on. 👍👍
thank u. i just did it and it worked!
Thank you, for Useful video :)
