  • It was nice to get back into it and make a video. I may have time for a couple videos this month. Expect an album review during the first week of April.
Thanks again ‪@CalicoSilver‬ for the bands showcased here!

Glad you liked Amyl & The Sniffers. I love them too. They’re definitely getting more popular all the time. Slowdive is a great shoe-gaze band indeed. My Bloody Valentine is amazing!! So noisy but so beautiful at the same time. I need to get that remastered version!! Thanks for telling me about it.

I really appreciate your videos. "Station to station" stands out as something unique, a true gem. Listen to "Wild is the Wind" on a cold winter's day; it captures such a profound essence. When you're in a mellow mood, "Station to station" is the perfect album to accompany it. Now, "Scary Monsters" is simply outstanding. Let me tell you, during Bowie's "Outside" tour, his live performance of it is beyond captivating-it's truly one of his best. Speaking of David Bowie's "Outside," if you're into industrial music and crave a fantastic concept album, that's the one to go for. Released in 1995, the same year he toured with "NIN," it's an absolute must-have in any Bowie collection. If you're considering buying the "Outside" album, I highly recommend streaming tracks like "Outside," "The Hearts Filthy Lesson," "Hallo Spaceboy," or "We Prick You." These are all standout tracks in my opinion.

I want to express that my best friend and I started following you because of Alice. Your content always keeps things interesting, and your opinions are never offensive. My best friend and I have been fans of Alice for over 38 years. However, in 2023, we had a tough summer. Alice's offensive statements (you probably know what I mean) ended up isolating his fan base. This hit particularly hard for us, as my best friend has a transgender son. It's truly disheartening when someone you've followed for so long says something hurtful. It's hard to shake off. Gene Simmons is really good at running his mouth and offending. Oh well, keep up the good work with your channel. Peace out and take care.

I hear you, Zapp. When it comes to someone like Gene Simmons, you know it's customary for him to say something offensive. I'm not saying I agree or defend the offensive things he's been known to say. But, with Gene, you understand what's on the table. But, with Alice, it was like......"What???" You're supposed to be better than this, you know? Maybe that's the parasocial aspect talking, but I thought he was better than to fall into that mindset. I understand where he's coming from on the points he made, and I was glad he acknowledged there are trans people, but the way he went about his case was one of ignorance.

@@CaretakerWanted Thank you for responding. When I saw those comments, I was totally taken aback, like, seriously, Alice! Seems a bit disconnected from today's world. Take care.
