I quite like this. Cilla was adventurous. I believe that this was n her first album. She was a Dinah Washington fan.

Unfortunately Cilla never did record this on her albums Cilla, Sings a Rainbow, or Sher-oo! Great to see this.

Everyone moaning that Cilla can’t sing jazz. So what, she sang it her way. Nat King Coles version wasn’t very jazzy

let THE be love??? Still, it was a long time ago and she was just finding her feet ( and following orders), Dud was still as brilliant as ever.

Chris Eadon Yeah, wish she'd either just sung with her own accent completely, or figured out how to pronounce the letter R while singing with an American accent.

She is singing it with her regional Liverpudluan accent. 'There' is thus pronounced 'thur'. I find it both natural and endearing.

Dudley Moore was a great Jazz pianist, Cilla sings O.K. but she can´t phrase jazz at all.

Cilla can't really do Jazz, Moore on the other hand shows us all how it should be done.

… until he gets to his solo, when he somehow seems to forget that he’s a jazz pianist …
