I’m 100% with you on parents being heavy and fully engaged in their kids learning. I’m the same way with my two kids, girl 6 and boy 15m especially since I have a degree in early childhood education. The first 3-5 years at the most important time for brain development and learning in the early years!! So keep going mama! We got this!!!
I won't even lie, the sound of velcro going while you're explaining how your baby doesn't like wearing shoes took me right out😂😂😂I was a barefooted goblin child and my mom would (rightfully) make me put some shoes on every time she'd catch me galivanting in the backyard with not a shoe in sight lol, seeing that in your vlog made me smile. Chile I still hate shoes. But I did learn my lesson when I was 7. I was riding my bike (I had JUST gotten a pink Huffy 10 speed for my 7th bday) and I didn't have shoes on. Socks either. And this rogue toddler came running in the middle of the parking lot right in my path! Looking like the crackhead's baby on Boyz In The Hood! So I had to stop fast. Reflexes kicked in and I put my feet down...on the concrete...with no socks or shoes on! So yeah... I ended up skinning all my toes up. The big toe to the middle toe literally had bone showing. I had to get stitches immediately and surgery the next day for cosmetic reasons. I still have the scars on my toes and I'm now 43!!! I don't really wear shoes in the house but I don't even open my door without shoes on now! 😂😂😂

Be careful about taking advice like this. My son didn't speak when he was younger, and the doctors and other people dismissed it as nothing. I found out he has autism. It's your child, and you can do as you wish, but be cautious

You should look into changing is pacifier to NUK 1YEAR+ or 18m+.. The round nipples that youre currently using will arch their teeth. Target sells them. Make sure its the appropriate age for him. ❤❤❤ Dont panic, hes young enough so his gums are VERY soft. If there are any noticeable damages, it will straighten out if you change it before the molars fully set in.

Eh, sometimes you have to let go completely. You can co-parent but not be at one another's house. When this man have a gf (probably does) his gf would be pissed to see ex-wife around. You can have a healthy relationship without being in one another's lives. Once you're divorced, it's time to just be parents...I'd rather hire someone to do the house repairs.

Hello.. just started watching your videos for weight loss and you’re amazing. I also wanted to ask if you son have ear infections frequently? If so have you ever got your son ears checked to see if he possibly needs ear tubes? I asked because my son speech wasn’t the best because he needed ear tubes from having frequent ear infections. Once he got the ear tubes his speech improved dramatically.

Leapfrog definitely helped me as a kid and they have stuff for his age not just older children. The 100 words and animals book/tablet start at 1. Even flash cards. He will love it❤ You think he’s a chatter box now just wait 😂😂

Okay I get it with tv/kid videos yet hear me out, it’s not as bad as ppl say. Bc it’s not like the old days. Kids really learn. Programming like Dave&Ava, Cocomelon, and other shows like Blaze/Paw Patrol really help. It shows up later in their vocabulary. And with counting and alphabets and body parts and shapes. And socializing. The repetition and song format does work. And watching it w/them. The speech may not be there yet (and we had some delay issues) but we learned kids are still getting the concepts and lessons. Kids learning adhesion and trajectory and what a periscope is by 3 is phenomenal. And addition/subtraction by 4. If kids show interest in certain shows encourage them bc it could be catering to their learning style and will help them learn more and be engaged. Especially today’s kids they really take to technology. We limited it of course yet used it as part of a total experience. And now we’re in kindergarten well ahead and things are a breeze. And having the shows and programming make a significant difference. Wishing you well on the parent teacher journey.❤

Sadly, the school has plans in place to prevent a school shootings. 😢 As a security measure, no parents can be on campus unless it’s scheduled meeting. We’re allowed there for bigger events though because they bring in extra security. But they aren’t taking that step just for the pictures with Santa so I can’t be there
