locked hair is still natural hair, it's just another level HAHA. But i really agree, I dont see many fros anymore. I left my fro and committed myself to locks and i love it!!

Hey Faye, Heeey, I have my granddaughter and she is 4 years old now, and in preschool. She started out in daycare and like you, she kept getting sick(colds) and of course she would give it to me every time. Your mom is right, her doctor told me it is best to let her go to daycare to build her immune system up. She still gets sick sometimes, but not like she did in daycare, it has gotten better.
This gives me hope! It’s been about a month and we’ve coughed everyday! 😮💨
Grandma here to a two year old and I’m sniffing now. Been sniffing snorting, coughing since she and my daughter moved in with me 3 months ago. Imma just let it ride ❤😂

My daughter was sick just like your baby, we was paying for daycare and she never was there. We pulled her out. She went to kindergarten and never got sick. As long as he eats a great diet, take a good probiotic and multivitamin, he will be fine for kindergarten.💜 Do what you feel is best, your his mom and you will know.💜
Don't take him out of daycare. My friend kept her son at home until age 4, and he was sick 2 months straight in kindergarten.

Yes I have a 1year old and it’s rocky with the sicknesses from daycare, but as a Pharmacist, it’s something they must go through… it builds the immune system, and truth is, whether it’s now or they go to school at 5… they will have to go through the immunity process

Hey Faye, I watch your videos all the time but never comment but I just wanted to give you my experience. I am a Pre-K teacher and have also taught Kindergarten as well. The kids who did not attend daycare or any type of school environment are always the kids that stay sick and constantly missing because their immune system is so low. I know it is hard but in the long run it does pays off.

Hey, headed to gym listening to you!!!! Anyway, do not take your son out of daycare. The best advice I ever got is if your child doesn’t have a fever do not keep them home and nurse them back to health because they will just get sick again when you take them back to daycare because someone else is bringing their kid sick. It was hard but as a working mom, the stress I would feel to have to miss work bc my child was sick AGAIN allowed me to do it and it was the best advice bc my now 4 year old still get sick and she goes right to daycare to hack it up with the other germ buckets.

I'm the mac and cheese maker too and yes, eggs are a must! I can tell if it's got eggs or not when I'm eating someone else's too, lmao! And girl Logan's about to start daycare next month so we're all working on strengthening our immune systems now because we already know he's gonna be bringing us some of everything home.
Sissy if I ever make it to Houston, we gotta go to dinner! Bring Logan so they can treat the restaurant up! 😂😂😂😂

My daycare kid vs my non daycare kids is crazy. My daycare kid did get hands foot and mouth..but that is the only time he has been sick that I can remember in 14 years. Now my little misfits get sick for every season and if school got it...they getting it. S/N no eggs for me and thats just my skill level on mac and cheese is very low! I will try your recipe

My boy has type 3 hair, if I let 7 days go by its locked in the back. Full on dreadlocks. His big straw curls are so cute and his hair is soo long I really dont want to cut it buuuuuut a cut is coming soon. I understand!!!!

My both of my Grandmothers taught me not to use eggs. Eggs are not needed. Marconi noodles nor the cheese need help from the eggs. Cheese is strong enough to firm the noodles. Eggs are a preference and not a requirement. 😉

My son will be 3 in January and he’s had one hair cut on his 1st birthday. It was just a trim. His dad now refuses to get his hair cut, so I wash and twist his hair once a week. He absolutely HATES it. I’m gonna make his dad do it one day and see if that convinces him to let him get a hair cut.

Hey Aunty Faye, ughhh my hubby is saying it’s time for our 2 year old baby girl to hit daycare but lawd I told him at 3 we will talk about sending her and it’s because as me I’m very overprotective as a first time parent and upbringing plays a role as well plus the plandemic when my baby girl was born 2021 , ( I think you know the extreme thoughts that come to mind ) and her getting sick is crazy at the top of the list and 2nd would be I’m at home through my 2nd pregnancy and I just don’t want her out of my and my hubby sight!!!!!!! Even when we worked we made a schedule to were one of us was at home with her at all times but he is old school till he go and he like it’s time now and he old school an 84 baby and I’m a 98 baby but it’s both our first child but dads just adjust quicker and willing to take risk faster than we are and I assume my upbringing plus I’m overly cautious so I’m like orrrr 3 years old maybe lol but watching you and others are easing me but I just can’t right now … now on the hair topic I totally understand you I love my natural hair and that I can grow it thank God but I am a crochet braid baby till the end ✊🏾🫶🏾 like it’s been 2 weeks since I took my hair down and I’m ready to put them back in braids right now and will , it’s exactly how you put it my passion for the time it takes dwindle with being a God fearing wife, having a child , I’m pregnant again and close to due date and also cooking , cleaning, shopping, etc I’m not interested in taking the time my hair deserves and I thank you for being transparent as of lately because it helps and tell me why I’m just recognizing my baby can eat Chinese food lol I’m talking to my husband like babe I’m overthinking and he’s like uh yes I told you already you can’t be sheltering her and stuff man they be right .. but love you Faye and nice hair cut on champ

2.) my son had RSV then pneumonia then some type of bacterial infection and ear infection back to back from school. He was out pretty much the whole month of November. I guess it just comes with the territory. I hate it fr

4.) I have the same struggle with both my son and daughter when it comes to their hair. My son is autistic and is very sensitive about his hair. He doesn’t like you touching him at all. So I just try to kee it in chunky braids and I do his hair in the bath tub because the water makes him calm. Maybe that may help with Champ in the future💕💕💕

The way he laid his head down as if he was saying “leave me alone lady”. I remember my boys being that small getting their hair braided. I cut it when they were 6 yrs simply due to EVERYONE calling them a girl. I finally got fed up and they did too. Ever since then they been rocking low hair cuts.😂😂😂😂

We’ve been there with the baby. Momma is right. Hurts our hearts but they are ok. Also I found during teething they stayed looking nasty and sick.
Faye, my granddaughter has never been as sick as she's been since she started preschool. GIRL!! I was about to tell my daughter to pull her out. But, because she didnt' do daycare, her dr said it would take about 6 months before she builds up her immunity to the germs. Chile, this is stressing me OUT!

Hang in there. I look mine out of daycare and as soon as they both stared school they STAYED SICK for about a year. Then that immune system figured it out

I use eggs
No shade!...but Bathe (very warm water) him right when you get home from daycare....or Before DCare (1 hour be4). Will stay cold/flu free. Guaranteed.
