Honestly this whole video is a mood I was doing so good my baby boy just learned how to walk and I was so happy but I started talking to my mother briefly after being no contact for months (our relationship is not great which sucks since that’s my mom) and it’s brought my mood so low and I didn’t notice until I started crying in front of my son randomly which I said i’ll never do it’s hard to cope when it’s triggers left and right. I have no family unit and so I feel like I never can fully recover while being the primary parent. My husband has to work a lot so I feel myself also feeling like how I viewed my son being raised hasn’t gone as I would like. It’s made me resentful of my parenting journey but i’m trying to find peace and not anger.

Thank you for sharing that! I grew up in a broken home, wicked stepmom, the whole nine. I swore my kids would not have to experience that. I did all the things I thought were right, including attempting to stay in misery for the sake of the children. Then I realized doing that would be teaching them, that was ok. My fairytale life, that version, didn’t work but my children are amazing! They have all grown into amazing human beings. Coparenting wasn’t possible because it takes two. If I wasn’t part of the package, he didn’t want the kids. He really didn’t want the marriage. To date, I don’t really know what he wanted. I just know infidelity was a deal breaker for me. I have 1 daughter and I did not want her to think that level or any level of disrespect was ok. It was hard but we, my children and I , did it and I am grateful to God for the strength to push through. Life won’t always be roses but when it is, I’ve learned to take a deep inhale and put some of that in reserve for when it’s needed. Love your vibe and authenticity and I love that you’re a believer and not afraid to show it and claim it! Blessings to you and the little one. You’ve got a beautiful family with the two of you! 💜🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
Faye, all I’m going to say is … I GET it, I going through the EXACT same /but different journey. I grew up in a two parent household, church based too.( went to Sunday service, Wednesday choir rehearsal, played piano for Sunday school every 3rd Sunday, went to summer camp at church ( 5 days a week ) , modern dance troop,,,,etc) . I Understand your feelings, my trigger is my house now, 1st we were supposed to get a bigger house, and not only I’m in the old house, I have upkeep ( grass/snow) and repairs I have to figure out . I thank you for validating my feelings!!!!! ( I thought I should be over this or I am weak because I let it bother me at given moments ) ❤❤❤❤❤❤

Lmaoooo you freaking out over the bug while champ is in the back chilling out has me in SHAMBLES 😂!! But on a serious note… its ok to mourn and feel disappointment over what you thought life would’ve been.. but the way I stayed in that low spot for 10 years is not ok…. You just gotta keep your faith strong and keep reflecting on Gods grace so you dont stay down too long. That foundation you have that pulled you out of that low spot is the same foundation you’re giving Champ. It may not look like you wanted it to look but its most definitely gonna be there and be strong!!

I’m sincerely sorry you have to go through your current situation. Reality is hard to deal with at times. I completely understand what you’re going through. Even the part when most days aren’t so bad, you’re able to be grateful to God, understand why certain things happen, and see the goodness of life. It’s those days that you get triggered and it just hurts. Or like you said when you wish your ex partner was there to share the moments, holidays, and day to day routine with you together as a family. It’s a very hard pill to swallow. Like you I follow God and give him my life but it’s still those time where you’re just triggered. I will keep you in my prayers for continuous strength. 🙏🏾

I so feel you right now because I went through that still going through it currently we were separated for 6 years before the divorce we've been divorced 2 years and it's still hard.
