So proud of my home country airlines as a Singaporean. Thumbs up to these SQ cabin crew,they’re really passionate every single time.
Singapore is a class airline. I always remember the flight from Singapore Manchester to Singapore when i was 5-6 and how they treated you was incredible even though you were child. They had the state of the art IFE systems back then on their 777's aircraft and they gave me and my brother loads of goodies during the flight. one of which was a coloring in mug of a Singapore aircraft and playing cards etc.

Wow a hot meal on a 1 hour 20 minute flight. Flying on US airlines economy is a grind. I am happy to run out after landing. Not only is the leg room crappy but they reduced the number of toilets and made them tiny.
It is common in south east asia carrier to provide meal for flight more than an hour

Singapore Airlines made their mark on me when I was just 6 years old. Any flights I'd experienced til then were all QANTAS (I'm Aussie) and I thought that was great, then we go overseas one year with SIA and my god it changed everything. I'll never forget the dumbstruck feeling of seeing the in built entertainment systems in the chairs (this was in 2003), games and movies galore for the whole flight which tbh I didn't use much cause I was learning, but man it was so awesome and adventurous. My little sister who was 3 at the time had a breakdown at one point and so one of the attendants brought over this huge as Stitch plush (From Lilo and Stitch) and she got to keep it for the flight, they were a step ahead then and they still are now. If I ever had to chose an international air service, It'd be them.
I remember flying SIngapore airlines 747 from SG to HKG way back in 1998(the only time). I was only 12 then, and oh boy I have not come across any other airlines as good as SQ so far. It is THE BEST AIRLINES no doubt about tht! If I ever become a multi millionaire I will always choose SQ! ATM I cant afford their price as other airlines are always cheaper. well you get what u pay for....

Omg, I had been waiting for so long for this video. I've traveled by Singapore airlines so many times and I just love their service. Quick story- I was traveling to India once and the flight attendants made the announcements in 3 languages. English, Hindi and the local language of the destination. That was an amazing touch from Singapore Airlines. Anyways, great vid! Keep it up!
I love it! It looks so good and the 787-10 and the A350 are such wonderful aircrafts. The crew looked really nice too! The business class design also looks really interesting - never flown them before but would definitely like to, especially on the 787s and A350s. I strongly recommend the Swiss A220 to London City Airport - I know this is unlikely but I think it would be a very good flight especially the business class.
Also flew from Singapore to Tokyo in 2017 using SQ. Wonderful experience as well. SQ is my go to airline for my travels

The crew are always beyond amazing on SIA! I also love that they provide hot towels in economy and the ammenities in the bathrooms such as tooth brush and mouth wash. AND they have 'Singapore Slings' for economy class passengers too!

I flew SQ Airlines on a longhaul flight when I was 13. It has been 20 years since that time and yet to this day no other flight tops that experience in terms of quality, comfort, care and entertainment.
What a nice reminder of flying! My family and I are based out of Shanghai and have flown Singapore Airlines many dozens of times and have always been consistently impressed with the quality of their service. The aircraft is always spotless. The seats and entertainment system always function correctly (and if it happens to malfunction they REALLY try to get it back up and running as quickly and as seamlessly as possible. And the crew: magnificent!
One aspect that you never think about (until you see it unfold before you) is how the crew respond to emergencies. Serving hot towels and maintaining a smile on a five-hour flight is one thing; responding to a call for help is something entirely different. On a flight from Sydney to Singapore we saw a situation unfold: as the plane was climbing (no more than a minute after take-off) the passenger two rows in front of us pressed the "CALL" button. An older gentleman started feeling chest pain! (Yikes!) Within seconds of learning of the trouble the lead member of the flight crew mobilized three or four other members of his team. The quickly and very efficiently moved the guests sat on either side of him, including the person across the isle) to vacant seats. Then they sat in the seats around him to assess the situation. Fortunately it turned out to be an anxiety attack for a nervous flier (something that probably happens more often than you think) and were able to calm the man down and make him feel more comfortable and relaxed. Tempest in a teapot as it turned out to be I was and still am impressed with how quick and how efficient the entire team moved to address the problem ... and at one of the most awkward times of a flight. For that reason Singapore and any SQ flight sit at the top of our list of prefered carriers.
Love the videos (we've been binge watching them during our lockdown as a means of remembering what it was like to travel). Keep up the great work!
Oh - and if SQ say they can turn a plane around in 55 min, they can. They don't mess around. Also - if you've ever been at an SQ gate EARLY and watched the crew before they get onto the flight it is truly spectacular to see. They have a staff meeting there while standing in a circle. Then perhaps the most oddly touching part of the process: they have a group prayer. I asked one of the flight attendants what they pray for and was shocked to find out that it was for good service. They are THAT dedicated. Love those guys!

Singapore Airlines has by far the best cabin crew I've experienced.
Jakarta airport looked so nice, loved the garden(s)! That mirror in the tray table was also a very nice touch by Singapore ✨A very nice IFE too! What amazing flights!

Singapore Airlines is amazing. Taken three trips from Norway to Australia so far, all economy. The last time I few from Stockholm to Melbourne on Singapore and it was so comfortable! I wasn't tired or aching at all when I arrived after the 26 hour journey. It was the A350 all the way.
I've only ever flown Economy and my flight with SQ from Frankfurt to New York was my best flight experience ever. It was on an A380 and I had so much space! I had a complete row for myself so I could actually lay down across the seats and get a really good sleep. When I was awake I enjoyed the amazing entertainment system and literally every half hour a flight attendant went around with drinks on a tray. A tray! Not one of those ugly trolleys… Also, I was having some stomach problems at the time, so I had pre-ordered a meal that would be soothing for the stomach and it was delicious.
I would fly with Singapore Airlines again anytime!

Singapore airlines never miss! I flew them from SIN to HKG/DXB/PER/ICN, they really deserves no.1. They got some outstanding highlights which other airline don't have:1. Menu booklet2. Earphones instead of headphones which are lighter and convenient3. Hot and refreshing towels4. Touchscreen handset on economy (a350/b77W) which only EY QR EK have them5. Unbeatable experienced and friendly crew6. Awesome meals

I flew on Singapore Airlines economy class last year, all the way from Dubai to Haneda, Tokyo, with seven hours transit in Singapore airport.
I can say it’s my best and favourite flight, and I only wish it was longer.
They are the best economy class airline, the best services, very beautiful airport, and the flight attendants are the best.
I will definitely fly with them again if I get the chance again. They really deserve to be the number one best airline.

Love your vid man I totally agree. I live in Australia and I went on a school trip on Sep 22 only a couple of days before you and I went from Australia to Singapore on the a350, it was my very first flight and I was blown away by how good it was I loved the hot towels and the paper menus, my food was actually some of the best I had tasted . It was nowhere near as bad as what I heard flying was and I actually enjoyed it. If you can believe it i also went to terminal 3 and same as you i loved it. Did you notice how modern the bathrooms were and how the water bubblers are completely hands-free, for me that was something i had never seen. We then got a connecting flight on the a380 to Frankfurt Germany and again the staff was so nice and even asked us where we came from.
When you see this video title coming from you, we know it's going to be amazing!

I am Indonesian but ironically, I have never flown on Garuda but my family would always choose SQ when we fly. By far, one of the best airlines ever!
I shan't lie. I'm Canadian, I've been lucky enough to fly Singapore Airlines twice from FRA-SIN (A380) and HKG-SIN (A330) and both are the best economy flights I've ever had hands down.
The only perk to flying with Air Canada is the Star Alliance partnership and being able to fly with Singapore as well as Turkish Airlines as well.
Would love an economy/business review of Turkish Airlines. Especially when the new airport opens up.

I spent 50 hours in SQ economy on the a350 and a330 this summer and I can attest its quality.

CX also offers the amenities on request! From a frequent flyer on both SQ and CX from HKG and YYZ.
Note Changi also has a security-side hotel. They will have a new dome-like area (look that up!).
Emirate's A380 economy seats are the widest and have the most legroom. Furthermore when there was a cockup, Emirates have told me not to worry a thing when I arrive at Dubai for transit to Milan. Off course they did but luckily we were on time for our transit. Hopefully I can take Singapore Airline's A380 economy class. Why A380? That because the fusalage is the biggest and off course the widest allowing airlines to fit wider seats in any classes.
I love Emirates A380 also, flew it quite a few times now. According to Seatguru A350 is half inch wider than the A380 Economy seats. And I already liked the seats in A380.

And I love SIA but didn’t find much of a difference between SIA economy and Emirates. Legroom, food, IFE, Aircraft all similar. Only thing where SIA impresses better is service.

Great review! Please do try Garuda Indonesia. It’s really an achievement as they hit “The World’s Best Cabin Crew” 5 years in a row! (2013-2018). You also need to try out terminal 3 of Jakarta. (Garuda flies out of there) I heard it’s more modernised and it’s not so confusing on the early parts. :p

Flew with SQ for the first time yesterday (codeshare) from SG to Zurich, and transited to BHX. Have to admit, I was very, very impressed. I flew economy on the A380 but was so impressed by the legroom, comfort of the seat, food and the service from the great staff. By far the best airline I’ve ever flown with, will definitely be using them from now!

1st naia sucks no doubt. 2nd pal 777 is so cramp. 3rd very uncompetitive service. 4th lounge sucks. 5th business class is awful especially the 777. 6th they treat you better if your white obviously. 7th seats are so narrow. Did I say more?
