After suffering a near-fatal stroke in 2004 despite being fit & active 50yr old I was left a disabled wheelchair user which can mean that you become invisible to many people who talk to your carer/wheelchair pusher and not to you sitting in it but after having someone in a supermarket actually rest their shopping basket on me, I decided enough was enough! Although I am generally wearing trousers or leggings, I recalled after watching many of your Sooo relevant videos that I used to be a very stylish dresser so I set my teeth, trawled my wardrobe, and dug out many much more colourful and stylish blouses/tops& T's. I started going more regularly to my hairdresser (he gave me a super tip too by telling me that hairdressers always notice a clients shoes because often they are looking over and down) so I went through my fotwear and threw out anything that I wore because they were comfy and slipper-like and I invested in some gorgeous & ultra comfy Avaiva flats and several pairs of bright mocassins -(I've always loved red shoes). Now I never go out (even to a hospital appointment) without looking as good as I can with my hair clean and styled, face made up just as I did in my working days and wearing something colorful and noticeable jewellery too and have received many wonderful comments and BOY! do I feel good about myself again! Your wonderful advice had a lot to do with this. So thank you so very much for helping me make that quantum leap.
Thank you, Helen for sharing such a positive story. As women we tend to lose our confidence as we age. And when you mix a health concern a divorce or any other major lifestyle change to that we can lose ourselves. When we start to make our selves and sense of self worth a priority we can be that wonderful woman we know that is still in there. Nothing is more beautiful in this world that a woman with confidence in herself!😊
Thank you for sharing your amazing story! Although I don't know you, you are beautiful and deserve to feel your very best! So happy to hear you are so much happier! Have a blessed day!
At 78 I dress up when I go out. Went to a doctors appointment wearing a coral silk blouse with a necklace with a mother of Pearl pendant and glass beads held in place by silk strands that I designed and made. I wore the blouse over khaki pants and turned heads every where I went. Who says you have to look elderly, just because you are!
My new Wocoal bras made soooo much difference to me! Your advice about bras was right on! My pet peeve is the rise in pants. The rise that hits just below the natural waist so your blubber hangs over - ugh!
I’m 63 and I avoid those “mature” brands. I think their tunic tops, big colorful florals and 3/4-length sleeves are really aging. My goal is “classic but modern” style, in an understated way. I do incorporate trends I love and ignore the rest and only wear colors that I know suit me.
So glad I found your blog! Any tips for an alaskan cruise in September? I did pick up on your tip for wearing your coat leaving more room in your suitcase. Two dinners will be formal. I’m 5’5”, slender and active❣️
Gosh, you are so right! I have no interest in those brands that perpetuate stretchy fabrics, styles, prints, shapes, and details that try to “disguise or hide” a problem area.
Beth, thank you for always sharing inspiring videos and comments. I'm 75 and love fashion and looking stylish. Yes, I wear leather pants! Many thanks!!
I love Ada belts! So happy to see you showcasing them. (My parents are from Argentina, btw, so I learned early to appreciate leather.)) Agree with all of your styling tips. Thank you!
We travel full time in a RV and I try not to dress frumpy! One can dress stylish, no matter what your life style. Love your videos and always look for the next one coming out! - Michelle
I saw a picture of myself in a cardigan and that was all I needed to see to get rid of every cardigan I owned. As for capri-length pants: they draw attention to your ankles and should only be worn if you have slim ankles. I had three of them: one had large enough cuff and hem I was able to lengthen them. The others I made into cargo shorts: I cut them off and used the fabric I removed ti make extra pockets on them..
Great video Beth! I’ve always been pretty confident in my style, as a rule. I’ve worked very hard to maintain a healthy weight and kept my makeup and clothing timeless, while giving a nod to trends. Both my grandmothers were gifted seamstresses, so I learned at a young age how perfect tailoring can take an outfit from frumpy to fabulous. However, when I turned 60 this year I found myself a little rattled for the first time; suddenly I was questioning everything about my appearance. Your observations about looking great at any age are well-taken and a good reminder that I was on the right track all along. ❤
I am 67 years old and am the same height and weight as I was at 14. I have lost 3 stone and taken up running after I retired. I love vintage style clothes as I did when I was young. Age is a number, love my clothes and my fitness. I love it that I can run for the bus, uphill, usually catch it then flash my pensioner bus pass to get on. Gives me a buzz! Growing old? Nah! My mother is nearly 97 and is still rocking on. Bring it on!
I am wearing my jewellery dug out my beautiful earrings. Bought more. Bought jcrew multiple pearl strings necklace…looks great on my cashmere sweaters. Bought new quince bags. And new hat pulled down as I did when young because it suits my style shape and face.and going to unpack my great Aus hats.I never dress my age, i dreams as a person. 😅I wear deep rich lipstick with lots of pigment, deep nail polish that suits me as a deep neutral autumn with now pale hair. I dressed my style and for my body. Actually I could wear shorts, at 80 based on my legs. I too have loved jcrew over the years and kiesletstein cord for various accessories skin belts with silver buckles.
I do wear “mini” skirts at 63, because I’m petite and most end only a few inches above my knee. My legs look great, why should I hide them? Being short does have its advantages!
So glad I found you Beth! You are my new hero. I’m turning 60 in August and looking in my closet and jewelry box with a lot more confidence after this video.
I am large busted, so I spend a lot of money on bras. It’s totally worth the investment because it makes all the difference in how I look and how my clothes fit. The best brands for me are Elomi and Bravissimo.
Wonderful video Beth. I am active, 50s (though I look much younger), and I love your videos. You are very fashionable, trendy and knowledgeable in women's fashion. I always prefer a push up bra because it gives my chest more womanly shape. I always try to update my style in order to keep up with fashion trends. Thank you for your knowledge Beth! ♥👠
Great video! Bras..I never would have dreamed I’d buy a minimizer because I’m only a c cup..but WOW what a great way to keep those blouse buttons from gapping at the bustline. And belts…I cringed when I spent 150 bucks on a classic black belt…I’ve had that belt for about 12 years now and it’s my go to that adds instant polish to any outfit. Thank you!!
@@dammar117 yes! For me, spending 35-40 bucks on an “accessory” item like a belt, was a bit “extravagant”…so it seemed insane at the time to spent that money on “just” a belt…but as Beth says, a good belt will look better over time…and it does! Like a favorite pair of shoes it always feels and looks good - but unlike shoes, they don’t suffer the scuffs and wear that shoes do. That “big purchase” was a teaching moment for me and since then have mindfully “invested” in timeless pieces…great blazer…linen blouses….one great pair of classic denim jeans. Stay well!
I love this video! Yes, clothes don’t have ages. I wish more people would think that way. You always show us what is possible. I know I can dress in a way that makes me feel confident. You are always so inspiring!
Thanks, Beth. Our Aunt Elsie just turned 97. She ALWAYS looks stunning - many old clothes, but she accessorizes beautifully! No one she meets believes she's 97.
Love your videos and classy encouragement to not buy into restrictive lists as to what we should NOT wear as we age chronologically. I am 83 and change up my style often........love clothes and accessories. Recently I decided some of my clothes were just too big so I donated them to the Vets Transition group where I live and am careful to fit myself properly. Thanks so much.
I recently realised that my wardrobe needs updating, starting with my jeans and shoes. Thanks for raising the questions for what else we need to pay more attention to!😊
I discovered this when a friend introduced me to SEE eyewear. Now I have a wardrobe of different styles and colored frames. It makes me feel so much more current!
Great video Beth, smashing tips, big 60 next month and recently retired, where did the years go 😁- yes feeling a little invisible just now, time to readjust and embrace this wonderful time of life, yip go for the best version of oneself, elegance never goes out of style 🥰🏴🇬🇧
Often, after looking at myself in a mirror at the store or seeing a recent picture of myself, I will get rid of what I was wearing at the time that made me look or feel frumpy or outdated. I tried ditching underwire bras but realize they are the best support for me.
Thanks Beth needed to hear and see this. I find it harder to find sophisticated well made clothing. The "dress down culture" of wearing jeans and casual clothing for everywhere make it all harder. I was raised to dress for the occasion.
Beth your so right about these tips. The bra tips were a reminder to me. It’s hard to find clothing age appropriate. I guess because of my age I feel uncomfortable buying clothes. This is helping me. ❤
Absolutely judykilger4950 I had a broken shoulder and ribs and now with a body worker have perfect posture again a long neck, doing healthy keto and dropping decades again. Really the alternative is long drawn out misery. I wear vivobarefoot footwear a lot, after moving and my hoard of beautiful Italian shoes was stolen.
Thanks for a great video! I use to be under the impression that if I was old enough to wear a piece of clothing when it first came out, I’m too old to wear it when it comes back around again. Now, I wear what suits my style and personality. 😊 I love changing my hair styles as well, and do it often. I think a lot of ladies believe that if they cut their hair it’ll make them look older, but I think an amazing hair cut can really frame your face, elevate your look, and keep you fresh and classy.
I recommend a strapless bra as a staple for those summer dresses or tops with straps that may be a little wider or tighter than your bra straps. Thank you for your recommendations. Amazing how getting a little dressed up to go food shopping lightens your mood.
Yes we love videos like this!!! Love the belts. I agree with you, a belt in your outfits maks a big difference. Thank you one more time for your lovely videos. keep them coming, they are always welcome.
I am going to go out on a limb and say this but I find most people over 50 are the ones dressing nice. I went to a Broadway show at night and to my dismay, there were adults and older teens with shorts on!! On another occasion I went to a play and all the adults over 60 were decked out to the 9s. Make up, nice blouses, slacks and shoes (like a post here...even those in wheelchairs were dressed beautifully) were beautifully worn. Those under 40 had jeans on...not even nice ones. I know what you mean though...I find more older women dress nice.
Agree ! As a baby boomer of 70+ yrs old , my friends & I grew up w/ " rules " for dressing appropriately for different occasions ; now , many decades later , we will wear jeans , tees , & sneakers but know the time & place for that vs. " nice " / " dress outfits " for church , dinners out , funerals , work meetings , etc. It's also a matter of how you feel about yourself & choose to present yourself - not flashy or trendy or too young or covered in designer labels , but true to who you are . 🥰
I visited Neiman Marcus one day for some new under garments. I was so lucky in that a bra fit specialist was available and showed me the right size. It’s not easy to do without a second opinion from an expert. It is all too easy to cling to classics. Thanks for the tips! Accessories are so important, but we tend to neglect them. I purchased the gold necklace you featured. Thanks for the guidance! ❤
Having a bra specialist fit you is key. Leaning on their knowledge is so helpful. I think you will love that necklace. I always receive compliments when I wear it.
As a women of ample/excessive bust D cup before children, size DD from having children to my current fitted GG (weight remained roughly the same from children to now) my tops are so important as too tight can make me look over big, plunging neck lines help, plus my bustline is at most other womens eye level. My hair is now the same style as my college years long again, as short hair and having to wear a tight hat all day don't go together. Slim trousers or bootlegs but high waisted due my height.Had stopped wearing makeup but still do facials. But have just updated my makeup. My nails are usually painted professionally every six to eight weeks. Again because I was born with man size hands. My body shape is hour glass, but larger size clothes can make it look square. Long legs help so need to buy right trousers and tops to be polished. Get compliments about my tops, generally patterned to hide the bust.
I have learned so much from you over the past couple of years that I've been watching your videos. You were the first fashion and style person I ever watched on RUclips. I know I speak for many women when I say how much I appreciate your advice and style insights. My style is classic and traditional for the most part but I always learn something new from you. I love the gorgeous background of this video, too!
Funny I found you! I have had two years of illnesses ranging from six weeks in hospital with heart problems, a cancer removed from my lung, and last week I stumbled and broke my ankle! Feeling sorry for myself I decided to get my life back so booked facial, massage, new hair style and put away my tracksuits 😊 Next is getting all my pretty clothes out and getting a professional to update my make-up. The option is sitting in a cupboard crying
The power of endorsements. I found myself purchasing two ADA wrap belts online as I was watching your video! They are the kind of belts I have been looking for. 😃
The hardest area for me to always know how to stay updated is with my hair style. My hair stylist is in her mid-20's so that helps, as she's aware of current trends and styles. I want to look stylish, but not too trendy. Do you have any tips, Beth, on the best way to have a current and classic hair style?
Thank you, Beth! Another amazing video and so many things that are so important and we tend to forget. Please continue your exceptional content! Have a blessed day!
Right on! You were the first RUclips fashion channel that I found in 2020. My search question was can women still wear shorts after 60? Well, indeed they can. I now have about 6 pairs of shorts in my wardrobe and I just added a classic navy linen trouser-type Bermuda short from Talbots. Looks so chic with my navy linen blazer. The Coastal Grandma trend has been around for years. I view it as a type of Ralph Lauren/preppy look. I do have problems with my one bra strap always slipping down. Any suggestions? I have been fitted on a few occasions. You are the best, Beth!
I am a jeans and t-shirt person..leggings for walking....so I am kinda frumpy and overweight..working on the health.....but if you are heavy good luck trying to find something that doesnt look like a box shape...or in not so nice colors..we are the forgotten and invisable. love your channel
I have seen many plus size women rock great style. And it's not boxy. Pay attention to proportions and choose clothes that skim your curves. Thanks for stopping by!
Don’t give up. I’m over here looking and feeling cute. I wear less t shirts now and favorite a cute blouse with my jeans. Feels WAY more feminine, cute, relevant and like I “tried”. You can do it. I started by stepping out of my comfort zone and trying different styles instead of assuming it wouldn’t look good. Then get out there with your shoulders back and a big smile!
I took the "plunge" to go natural =discover my grey !! During COVID rules !!! After a life of blonde ...I have to readjust the colors of my wardrobe... As we have similar color and haircut now I watch your videos to see what works and what doesn't...
Honestly, you can make any color work. too many of us think we have to change our jewelry, neutral color scheme or only choose items that make us look younger or thinner. Do certain colors look better than others? Absolutely, but I love to color outside the lines. I suggest you do the same. Fashion should be FUN!
Thank you. Some great tips and a friendly prod for me to take more care as I’ve felt I’ve become a bit too “comfortable”. I haven’t bought clothes in years; much of what I wear out feels “too dressed up” or out of fashion when my peers all wear puffer jackets, t-shirts, gym pants and sneakers out. Going grey messed with my head too because what I did have didn’t seem to “fit” anymore with the image in the mirror too. I have skirts and dresses but as no-one else wears them, I just end up feeling odd too. Men and women all end up looking the same here as they wear similar casual clothes - mainly all black. However, I would like to make an effort because I’ve noticed I feel blah with much in my wardrobe. Maybe it’s time to ditch some things. 🤣
one thing I've learned is that when you look good you feel good. I put on a cute outfit for me. If you're feeling blah with your wardrobe take baby steps and add a colorful accessory maybe a scarf or statement necklace. But don't worry what others are wearing. If wearing a skirt makes you feel good. Do it! It's the perfect option for a hot summer day.
@@BethDjalali I like that thank you. Ive been thinking about the "types" of clothes that give me that feeling you mention and it's been interesting to come to this realisation. That is, I only just recently decided that I prefer the slim line pants (as opposed to wide pants that taper to the ankle)...and I've got a few of these pants and always revert to wearing the one I like (which is now so old and wearing thin!). Sigh. I should have bought two years ago....
I'm glad to have found your channel. I like your attitude. I've been moving from casual to frumpy and hadn't noticed untill recently. I look forward to seeing more from you. Thank you for acknowledging all body shapes.
Thank you for inspiring me to finally "go through my closet" and pitch out what is outdated. The two things that I concentrate the most on, to help me feel younger, is my skincare and teeth. I really upped my skincare 7 years ago when I had to have Moh's surgery to remove a "spot" on my nose. It took 27 stitches to close it all up. Because of my Korean skincare regime, I can say the scar is barely visible and my skin looks better now at 59 than it did when I was in my 40's. And teeth, dingy yellow teeth really age you. Yearly dental appointments and using a teeth whiting toothpaste to help chase away those dingy yellow teeth really helps me feel confident and younger.
Kudos!! I never dress older than 30, I m in my prime!! I love my leather and lace, ya!! I look at videos of 20 and 30 somethings, to see whats beautiful this year across the board, I'm a very happy secure fun 57 year old Babe!! 😂😂😂😂😂😂
Thanks for the insightful wisdom I have struggled in the past few years after my husband's demise and a double mastectomy and I'm 68 and I don't feel 68 I'd like my clothing and personal style to reflect the age I feel which I'm not sure what that is but it ain't 68
Thanks for all your tips Beth, they motivate me all the time. I sew all my clothes and have for many years. I constantly keep track of what's going on in fashion, and your videos and blog are so helpful. Thanks.
Good tips. I am still working on finding a belt. I have a very large tummy, love the modest feminine dresses (many w/ elastic waists). and just don't feel good about a belt. I never wear black and so many of my dresses are gentle prints (as single colors may stain and show it very easily) so belt colors that are too stark just show off my 'no-waist', lol.
Such great tips, thank you for sharing them. Change of Scandinavia also have wonderful bras in many sizes and configurations, but always well made and comfortable. By the way, you look fabulous in those leather pants!
Regarding bras, I have been wearing the extremely comfortable Bella bodies bras from Australia for at least 10yrs, similar to a sports bra, no underwire, has adjustable straps and is so nice to wear that you could wear them to bed. I never had issues until I was put on cortisone and gained 20kgs in a very short space of time. So I needed to wear a bra to bed for a while, until dancing every night in my pjs got the weight off, . Still love their bras, they are the best!
I gained 26% of my body weight on steroids for 17 years for medically caused asthma…now off them for the last year. Going healthy keto carnivore ..still lots of green etc but no carbohydrates and minimal oxalates so became human again, lost 10 kilos easily. And am looking good even with a 33” waist,
This is a great video because women that’s the last thing they think about is buying bras I think. And that’s so important. I try all kinds of bras. I have true bra which I really like. It’s very silky, smooth material just pulls over your head.
Gosto, imensamente de seus vídeos, mesmo não falando sua língua, entendo algumas partes e as imagens me faz entender mais… seu estilo é maravilhoso!👏🏼…💚🌻
When I wear coastal grandma clothes, I look like a grandma (I'm 53 but I don't have kids...I'm never going to be a grandma), so I stay away from coastal grandma clothes. You definitely rock the leather pants and the jeans though. I think we can all wear them, no matter the age.
So interesting that you suggest belts and say that untucked tops can make you look larger. I recently took a body shape class that said an O shape and H shape should never wear belts. I have to disagree. As long as I blouson my top, I find that a belt enhances my look. Of course a third layer always completes the look, but as it is summer I am just wearing my tee shirts and blouses tucked in with a belt and feeling good!
Hi Beth! Love this video. I’m wondering about the sizing for this too you’re wearing from JMcLaughlin. It looks amazing on you and the color is perfect. I want to order using your link but haven’t worn their clothes before. Any advice for some who carries some weight in the midsection? Great content. I’ve watched several other videos of yours. I am in my mid-60’s. 😊
Welcome! If you are trying J.McLaughlin for the first time I would order your regular size and one size up. They are a slim fit much like Ralph Lauren. I wear a size 8 or medium with their clothes but while I've lost my waist through the years I don't necessarily carry weight in my mid-section. J.McLaughlin has great customer service but they have tightened their return policy in recent months. But I'm a big fan of their clothes, especially their pants. I hope this helps!
I love your videos! I notice you always have on a jacket or a sweater. I live in Texas and its 110 degrees two months out of the summer (only 100 the rest of the season). I would look like a drug addict wearing a sweater or a jacket in those temps. Can you make a video addressing this issue?? Please.
Thank you Beth. I so love your advise. Would you please address the proper etiquette when we wear a hat (not baseball cap please) to a women's lunch? Do we remove it? do we rock it? and also I so love belts but when I look at myself from the side my tummy area is not the best. should I care? should I have tuck the shirt? Ooooooh do I need Beth advise. Cheers!!!
Women don't have the same rules for hats as men do. We rarely remove them when we're indoors. Experiment with a half tuck tee or blouse, then a full tuck. Then try a belt cinched underneath your bust.
Why the obsession with youth? Thats not the same as frumpy/out of date. I'm getting into my mid 40s, and rapidly get more and wrathful at the consumerist/keeping up with the Jones (or 20year olds). Im really over it
clothes have sizes, not ages." Brilliant! Thanks! I'm 69 and since I'm in the entertainment field, I wear clothes that are sassy. I also work in places that are hot, so I've gotten past the "no sleeveless" thing. I wear sleeveless all the time. So my arms ain't perfect? Who cares? If you care about my arms, you've got bigger problems!

That sounds great and you don't look anywhere near 78. I'm about to turn 77. I have a pretty artistic style vibe myself.

Sometimes, it's good to hear a reminder or two. Keep on rocking your style!
I wash my bras in a mesh laundry bag and it helps keep the hooks and wires from getting destroyed in the wash! Game changer! ❤
I do is as well. It helps a lot. Try also not to use any fabric softener as it destroys elasthane fiber in the garments.😉🌷
Agree!

So glad I found you Beth! You are my new hero. I’m turning 60 in August and looking in my closet and jewelry box with a lot more confidence after this video.
Welcome! My birthday is in August too! I'll be 65.
August girl too. I’ll be 78, but most people think I’m about 63. I have a big tummy so don’t think I can wear belts.
I am large busted, so I spend a lot of money on bras. It’s totally worth the investment because it makes all the difference in how I look and how my clothes fit. The best brands for me are Elomi and Bravissimo.

That belt has paid itself off.
Yeah, that belt has really only cost you $12.50 a year or a dollar a month.
Stay well!
@@garlicgirl3149 it sure has! I love it!
For us British ladies Marks and Spencer or John Lewis are two of the best shops for bra fitting. Every uk woman should know this 😊
I love this video! Yes, clothes don’t have ages. I wish more people would think that way. You always show us what is possible. I know I can dress in a way that makes me feel confident. You are always so inspiring!
Aging is a privilege so let's enjoy the ride!
🎉
Thanks, Beth. Our Aunt Elsie just turned 97. She ALWAYS looks stunning - many old clothes, but she accessorizes beautifully! No one she meets believes she's 97.
Love your videos and classy encouragement to not buy into restrictive lists as to what we should NOT wear as we age chronologically. I am 83 and change up my style often........love clothes and accessories. Recently I decided some of my clothes were just too big so I donated them to the Vets Transition group where I live and am careful to fit myself properly. Thanks so much.
I know they appreciated your donation! And you helped the earth by recycling!
I recently realised that my wardrobe needs updating, starting with my jeans and shoes. Thanks for raising the questions for what else we need to pay more attention to!😊
Thanks for stopping by!
Hi Beth im learning so much from you. At 50 yrs old i love to look current even though im always on a budget. You are so gorgeous ❤❤❤
Isn't it great style has no price point?!
You speak so effortlessly !! I’m super impressed.
Thank you!
Don't forget to update your eyewear, too. Old glasses can age you faster than any other accessory.
Great suggestion!
I discovered this when a friend introduced me to SEE eyewear. Now I have a wardrobe of different styles and colored frames. It makes me feel so much more current!
I love what you said ma’am, “clothes have sizes not ages” thank you.
Great video Beth, smashing tips, big 60 next month and recently retired, where did the years go 😁- yes feeling a little invisible just now, time to readjust and embrace this wonderful time of life, yip go for the best version of oneself, elegance never goes out of style 🥰🏴🇬🇧
You got this!
Glad it was helpful! And remember, we dress for ourselves. When we look good we feel good and that's the point.
Beth your so right about these tips. The bra tips were a reminder to me. It’s hard to find clothing age appropriate. I guess because of my age I feel uncomfortable buying clothes. This is helping me. ❤
Loved this!!! Age is just a number ! Posture diet exercise fashion , all makes you feel and look younger !! Well done!!
Thanks for sharing!
I love changing my hair styles as well, and do it often.
I think a lot of ladies believe that if they cut their hair it’ll make them look older, but I think an amazing hair cut can really frame your face, elevate your look, and keep you fresh and classy.
Great advice. Thanks for sharing!

Thank you.
Thanks so much for stopping by!
Nothing makes me happier than to hear you're finding inspiration! Thanks for being here!
Good for you! You will feel so much better with self-care in your life. You're worth it!
The power of endorsements. I found myself purchasing two ADA wrap belts online as I was watching your video! They are the kind of belts I have been looking for. 😃
Let me know your thoughts! I've had an ADA belt in my closet for years and love them.
The hardest area for me to always know how to stay updated is with my hair style. My hair stylist is in her mid-20's so that helps, as she's aware of current trends and styles. I want to look stylish, but not too trendy. Do you have any tips, Beth, on the best way to have a current and classic hair style?
Pinterest always has a great lineup of current hairstyles.
This is so right re bras. I loved Perele but then bought minimisers and t shirt bras.
Beth I adore that orange skirt and striped top on you. Thank you again for an inspiring video!
Orange is my favorite color all summer long! Always love to hear from you!
Thank you, Beth! Another amazing video and so many things that are so important and we tend to forget. Please continue your exceptional content! Have a blessed day!
I'm so happy to hear you're finding inspiration! Thanks for stopping by.
For the," droopy" shoulder bra -strap prob...Ask your Taylor to saw a little handmade braid with a snap at one end inside all your tops ..
If your bra strap is slipping that's an indication the bra might be too big.
Yay for wearing shorts at any age!
Wonderful advice. Thank you.
You always look so put together and stylish!
What a lovely compliment. Thank you!
Welcome aboard!
It’s never too late to start a skincare routine. Good for you!
Love your channel name😊😊😊😊
I've given up on traditional bras.
Straps are never long enough and cups gape at the top. I just go for the stretchy bralettes
Very well said. 😊
Love ❤ shorter hair on you, Beth.
Thank you!
Thank you for sharing! I’m going to try using belts with my summer dresses. I was think belts make my waist wider 😮 Have a lovely day 😎
Good for you!
Thanks for sharing!!
Thanks for all your tips Beth, they motivate me all the time. I sew all my clothes and have for many years. I constantly keep track of what's going on in fashion, and your videos and blog are so helpful. Thanks.
Hi Beth, just wondering where your red gingham blouse is from, it’s lovely, many thanks, maria.
Just found your utube channel. Such great ideas. My problem is I just have no sense of style and have no idea how to overcome that issue!
Thank you for your last words at the end of the video😊 So true and positive❤
I'm so glad to hear this! Thanks for watching!
Oh Beth how lovely you look. And the outfits are so chic!!
Thank you!
Love the wrap belt
This is my first time on your channel, Beth you look great, and I love your attitude! Those belts are very, very cool and stylish, love them!
Welcome!
Such great tips, thank you for sharing them. Change of Scandinavia also have wonderful bras in many sizes and configurations, but always well made and comfortable. By the way, you look fabulous in those leather pants!
Thank you! I'm a big fan of leather and faux leather.
Finally, someone recognizes the importance of good underwear!
Thanks a lot for your encouraging (and true!) words!
My pleasure!
So I needed to wear a bra to bed for a while, until dancing every night in my pjs got the weight off,
And am looking good even with a 33” waist,
Ok now looking up these bras. I’ve never heard of them and I’m in Australia!
Very inspiring!
Thanks and greetings from Austria❤
Thank you so much!
This is a great video because women that’s the last thing they think about is buying bras I think. And that’s so important. I try all kinds of bras. I have true bra which I really like. It’s very silky, smooth material just pulls over your head.
Thanks for sharing!
Fabulous tip Beth and thank-you so much! 😊❤️
My pleasure! Thanks for watching!
Gosto, imensamente de seus vídeos, mesmo não falando sua língua, entendo algumas partes e as imagens me faz entender mais… seu estilo é maravilhoso!👏🏼…💚🌻
Loved the leather pants with the white sweater! You rocked that outfit!
It's a great winter ensemble!
Hi Beth-love the ADA belt but your discount code doesn't work. Please help!
Hi Margaret! The discount is now available 😊❤
I have contacted the brand. Stay tuned.
I found your channel by chance. I’m so glad I did!
Welcome!
When I wear coastal grandma clothes, I look like a grandma (I'm 53 but I don't have kids...I'm never going to be a grandma), so I stay away from coastal grandma clothes. You definitely rock the leather pants and the jeans though. I think we can all wear them, no matter the age.
Love your hair style!!!
Lovely video Beth...lovely ideasxxx thank you for sharing!!!xxx
I really need new bras because I’ve lost weight, but they’re such a pain to shop for and so expensive. I keep putting it off!
Thank you so much!
❤Beth ❤ thank you for your encouraging words. 🎉🎉🎉

I love your videos! I notice you always have on a jacket or a sweater. I live in Texas and its 110 degrees two months out of the summer (only 100 the rest of the season). I would look like a drug addict wearing a sweater or a jacket in those temps. Can you make a video addressing this issue?? Please.
Thanks for the suggestion!
Great ideas! Ordered a belt
Oh good! Was the code working?
Beth you have great advice😊
Thanks, Bea! Always love to hear from you!
I love your advice ..thank you..!!!
My pleasure!
Thank you Beth
Third Love bras were my saviour. Fit is great!
I don’t think clothing I wear ages me, it’s all my wrinkles that do! I’m okay with it, wish society would cat ch up!
Why the obsession with youth? Thats not the same as frumpy/out of date. I'm getting into my mid 40s, and rapidly get more and wrathful at the consumerist/keeping up with the Jones (or 20year olds). Im really over it
When wearing an outfit do shoes and handbag have to match?
No.
I didn't know you had a RUclips channel. I just found you. I been following you on Instagram and love your fashion style.
Welcome!
clothes have sizes, not ages." Brilliant!
Sassy clothes are always a good idea!
