I always enjoy your videos Beth! One of my favorites was when you visited Nikol at her Fresh Beauty Studio for a makeup application. I love her dedication to making women of a certain age feel more confident by showing step by step application tips - for prepping the canvass and applying makeup. I do believe woman should exercise their own judgment - but there are some clear mistakes you can make (and eliminate) to look like your best self. We all agree that a cakey face is not a fresh face. Thanks for today’s reminders! That shot of you with overdone makeup was spot on. ❤
I have started to watch your videos and I am learning so much and I am so very impressed. I am 66 and have always followed a skin care routine but it seems heavy to me. I don't know where to begin finding new products that may fit my current skin. Is the best place to start with a dermatologist?
Sorry not related to this Beth but after your recent video's on bras, I finally went for my first i(n 61 yrs ) one on one bra fitting. I was surprised at the size I was after losing a lot of weight. Every woman needs to treat themselves to this. It makes your clothing look so much better to have the girls where they should be.
Hey Beth, I live in a retirement community in FL where it is very hot most of the time. I wish you would do a video on how to dress over 60, but very casual since most of my days are very casual, but I still want to look classy. Like you🥰
Well... it looks like it's sold out everywhere and might be discontinued which means I'll be on the hunt for a dupe. But it's Chanel Rose Naturel. I've used it for years as it's a great nude lip liner.
I love your hair style. It's so flattering on you and classy. Have you looked into the ingredients in Hair Biology? Are they safe? Thanks for your content!
Hi Beth, watching you from Australia. Your skin is just glowing. Do you wear a powder blush or cream? Any suggestions on how to grow some thinning and gappy eyebrows. Do you think serums work? I wear a mineral powder foundation but sometimes i feel it settles into lines around the mouth. Any other ideas especially for lipstick bleeding? You really are gorgeous (my hair is almost identical to yours, cut and colour) ❤️
Thank you! I am wearing a cream blush in this video. And, yes, serums for eyelashes and eyebrows do work. Latisse is a great product for that. Have you tried Chanel au naturel? It's a nude lip liner that helps with bleeding.
@@BethDjalali no, i haven’t tried that lip liner. I’ll look into it. Thanks Beth. I’ve also been on your Style at a Certain Age page for a while now so I’m loving seeing you on both platforms. I love makeup too much and i can see you’re going to cost me a fortune and i’ve just retired! Haha! 🥰
I’ve been using a color corrector (Bobby Brown) and unless I’m doing a full face of makeup,it’s all I need under my eyes! I’m usually not wearing foundation in the summer but I will add a dot of concealer when I do wear it so my eyes look as “finished” as my face.
I don't see a link for the shoes you mentioned. Calla? I have huge feet and bunions. I am always searching for shoes that are pretty and don't hurt. It's a challenge!
I can’t tell you how many friends and family don’t know you should wear sunscreen every day! I have used daily sunscreen for over 20 years. I guess that’s why everyone can’t believe my age.
I have found Laura Mercier tinted moisturizers, no matter what shade I have chosen, to be too "orangey." I've wasted money trying to match my skin color. The light in stores is usually poor and when I get in natural light I have been disappointed. On the other hand, NARS tinted moisturizer (supposedly owned by the same company), works beautifully and I have been able to match my skin color nicely. Just FYI in case others find Laura Mercier to have orangey tones.
So here's the thing if folks one age all do the same thing with cut, fashion, makeup and clothing... Doesn't everyone now have the same exact look and in that age is apparent, work on elegance, grace and smile.
Rocking the pearls and pink, once again! I am afraid that I don’t spend much time on my makeup….have never done so. I do use organic/natural products for cleansing and moisturizing, as well as natural products for makeup. These tips are good to interpret and apply to my simple routine!
@@janicenash8382 really? who wrote down that silly fashion rule? don't you know rules are made to be broken?! that's the best part of rules, breaking them. thanks for being here!

They always have great advice. But start with a simple routine: Cleanser, Serum, Moisturizer, Eye Serum. Then add Vitamin C and a Retinol.

I'm so happy you treated yourself to a bra fitting! It makes a BIG difference having the right size bra. Brava!
You look absolutely gorgeous Beth!!
I am 59, I use hairspray by spraying on a soft toothbrush and brushing the areas that need hold. I bought a toothbrush just for my hair.

Noted!
I enjoyed the video and agree on some things. For me in my late 60s I cover my gray always. To me that is the most aging.
If coloring your hair makes you feel confident then go for it. But opinions about gray hair have changed, and for the better.
This was very informative. Thank you ! I really learned so much.
Thank you for your amazing videos love watching them i get great tips from you

Hi, Some of the links you mentioned aren't listed, and the rest that are listed are crossed out.
The links still work, although I have no idea why they have a line through them. What link is missing from the video?

I would try a color corrector. Mac has a nice one on the market.

I will be 56 next month, and I’m noticing that my neck is starting to show signs of aging. Can make up, and or skincare help in the neck area as well?
Whatever skin care products you use for your face use on your neck and decolletage too. Nécessaire has a neck serum that does wonders. Check it out!
Thank you.

Why are there all the crossed out products?
Not sure what happened there. The links work, but we're looking into it.

A big NO !!! To the yellow necklace, ruins the entire look !!!!!!!
