My daughter bought me a beautiful red Michael Kors handbag last year for Christmas. I’ve been saving it for the Fall. Didn’t know I’d be on trend.😊😊 I love red!♥️♥️♥️
Thanks for mentioning navy and black together. I love that combination as well as brown and black together as well. Very striking and a great play on neutrals. I’m glad to see it featured. Lots of styles in your video to choose from - and the beauty is that one can choose what suits you - one can also shop one’s closet to create some of these looks. Have a great day!
It's always comforting to know we don't have to embrace any of the trends. But it's good to know what's on trend. It's how we stay modern fresh and relevant.
I'm not inclined to purchase most of these trends. I did buy a dark pink ( orchid ) sweater cardigan in the spring that I will wear with black and white outfits when temperatures drop. I will be wearing tan, taupe, brown, black pants mostly from Chicos, and jeans in white, beige and blue jean shades as the weather cools down. Will reach for blouses: bright green, blue jean, one white shirt, solid navy, blue plaid and a sage green plaid. I have a new 3/4 sleeve black and white vertically striped abstract print that should transition well once temperatures are lower. I bought 4 pair of different color driving loafers that will work well with my wardrobe. Always enjoy your videos. You are such an inspiration to keep looking fresh and stylish.
I'll have to skip a lot of trends, especially the odd colors. I have no interest in anything that is super neon or a bold red. I love fall colors and it's easy to make an outfit look nice with different accessories.
So excited to hear the color palette for Fall is beyond the conventional Autumn shades. As a “winter”, I often struggle with all the understated neutrals. Red looks great on me and makes me feel alive. So glad to hear it will be around and readily available!
I’ve always work navy and black. I like your choices and agree with what you’re skipping. A rule of thumb for me - if a kardashian/jenner promotes or is wearing it, I’m skipping it.
I love the idea of adding bolder colours. Oversized doesn't work for those of us who are vertically challenged. I look ridiculous in big sweaters. So I will stick with regular size clothing.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY, BETH. You look marvelous! Love the canoe painting over your fireplace. I agree with the trends that you will skip. They are awful. Keep those classic styles coming our way.
Thank you Beth, loved this, but I have always followed the French and mixed navy and black. It’s classic! Happy to have my 80’s sweater dresses back. Bring on my faves!❤
Navy and black yes! I’ve always had a red shoe but not recently. This may be one trend I’ll add. Your videos are fun and interesting, and part of your job is to keep people updated on fashion, but I’m done with trends. Simple basics carry me through years of trends. The most complimented clothing I have are things that I’ve had for a long time.
I love red and wouldn't mind adding a red piece or two to my fall wardrobe. I already have a pair of red shoes I love. Oversized doesn't appeal to me much, but I make an exception for slouchy sweaters. And if neutrals are "in," I have to say I never knew they were out! Tone on tone appeals to me a lot, so I'll probably try to create a few more looks using that formula. Thanks for the video!
I almost spit out my coffee this morning in hysterical laughter when I got to the "Free the Nipple" look. We all know what happens to our breasts as we age, people would be looking at my waist to see what is at my waist line to see what was hanging there. 😂😂 Thank you Beth for another wonderful video and the unintended laugh.
I am so glad you said bold color is in for this winter. The gray ,cold and short days of winter of living in America's North East City make me sad. I used to scour the stores for brightly colored winter gear to put over my classics and neutrals. Since I am a larger woman and an artist my go to was a wildly colorful scarf or sweater over black or tan pants with booties. I always got compliments with all that color around my face. As you can imagine I also love red. So I am glad the designers finally caught up with my trend. LOL.I make a lot of my own jewelry and will definitely be pulling out some of my bigger pendant and beads.
Lots of stuff going on when it comes to trends and fashion. But some pieces are like basics and will never become old fashioned I guess. Like the oversized sweater along with the black leather skirt 😍 Gorgeous combination Beth!!
I am only 5'2", so, oversized doesn't work for me! Also, NO PANTS, SHEER PANELS & NIPPLE FREE certainly doesn't work for me at 59. I think red and monochromatic may be the only things for Fall 2023 that I can embrace to remain fresh and relevant! LOL! I so very much enjoy all of your content! Thank you for all you do!
Watched Four Weddings and a Funeral….my go to style influence was all the female leads and actually have a linen swimwear coverup that can double as a cut away. Have packed away my favorite items….most are probably on trend this year or next.
I’ll stick with the classics. Maybe a top might be tried! Beth I just can’t see it on me. At my age I just can’t see it. I love red and have many pieces. Those colors were very interesting! Have a blessed day!❤❤
I always appreciate your thoughtful approach to fashion and style for us more mature women. I agree with you about oversized knitwear. I feel that suits my style better than the super oversized blazers that I’ve been seeing. Red is always a welcome burst of color during the fall and winter. I love red with camel. And I’ll be skipping the no pants trend too.
One of my staple looks has been an oversized sweater, pencil skirt and boots, so glad to see you showing this as a trend! Love your black leather skirt and dress! Great content.👍🏻
This was fun. Love red so I’m in for that. Need red shoes to replace the ones I threw out, a few years ago in an editing mood. 🙃The last three made me smile, nothing says don’t sexualize me more that running around half naked. I’m thirteen years older than you, so that’s a hard pass.
I’m sticking with the classics this season. I just can’t appreciate some of these wild color combinations! I am glad to see we will have more selections in red this year!
This video was 100% correct all the styles and tips that you may are so accurate for 2023. I’m looking for the 2024 fall fashion as I know they have spring but I’m more interested in fall so keep up the good work.❤ enjoyed your video
I will stick with classics and sophisticated looks. Nipple and naked looks are just tacky and trashy. I think I am worth more than that cheap trend. Thanks Beth.
Love navy & black! We all have worn black with denim so this ‘trend’ is not that new! Looking forward to combining it more in my work wardrobe, along with brown/black.
I love the off the shoulder trend! Is there a certain product you use for crepey upper arms? Or maybe you don’t have that issue. I’ve been using weights but it’s still there😫
There are body lotions that included peptides that help with hydrated, plump skin but I would check with your dermatologist as there might be a treatment like lasers that could help.
I love the oversized silhouttes. I just like the realistic pieces you wear rather than the majority of those runway pieces - Who would ever wear those??? I have always worn navy and black as well as dark brown and black regardless of what anyone says. This is always classic and elegant. No pants? Sheer dresses? Seriously? Pretty soon everyone will just be walking around naked. That’s just not a comfort zone I’m stepping out of - not to mention, it’s REALLY COLD with no pants or sheer dresses. I’ll take the oversized cozy cashmere.
I'm 74. I need a light weight purse to use as a carry on. What do you think of using a puff quilted purse? The purse itself is very lightweight and would hold all of my stuff. Plus, I can wear it cross body. My shoulders no longer light "holding" a purse. This is not my usual style so I'm a little outside my comfort zone.
I'll be 60 in November and I occasionally go braless in public. Of course the breast reduction and lift helps with this decision. If the look is good with or without, then it's my choice. 😊
Most of that is ridiculous and I guess why I don’t really follow trends. Classics or bust for me, which can be boring, I suppose, but better on the wallet in the long term as the pieces last decades. BUT, I absolutely love your always put together style. Always beautiful!
Best Wishes, Beth, from Nice 👒. Agree with your selection.. from emerald green ..to red and yellow this season... plenty of options. Definitely none of these show off (see-through/nipples) pieces recommended...
Your skin looks great! Also I love your red nail polish…would love name of color and brand please. I find the contrast interesting between your minimal makeup/boring matronly print blouse in this video, as opposed to your jazzed up fashionable looks modeled in the examples of fall trends. I suggest to stick with the latter!
I'm late to the party here but Patrica Neal wrote that she and other young want to be actresses wore the latest bra with a triangle shape cut out so the nipples weren't covered. A trend in the 1940's apparently. I just read her autobiography and she said a man who had to measure the girls for costumes asked them to strip to their underwear, as was the custom, and she could tell he was pretty surprised. Trends, lol!
I'll stick to the classics ! ❤ Some of us still have morals and values ... women should respect themselves enough to not look like a hooker on the street corner. Sorry, just being blunt honest. Just because the "fashion designers " say this or that is in trend, we should think for ourselves. 😊
Hello ma'am,I admire you so much you're so beautiful and and looking young,i wish i could have that cream for anti aging you're using but it seems expensive,i am from Philippines 67 yrs old, how can i purchase that products ma'am?pls reply, thank you so much

Classic woman would not wear the free the nips or see thru or the no pants styles. The Princess of Wales would never wear any of the fast fashion trends that are way out there.
The Princess of Wales did wear a see through fish net dress on catwalk in a fashion show at St. Andrews, when she caught the attention of Prince William! However, that was when she was a still a commoner 😊.
I definetly not following that fall trend. I'll be interested to see if any one in my area follow it. Fall is my favorite time of year and I look forward to pulling out my fall clothes, greens, browns, tans. Because I'm over weight for my height (5'3') I definetly cannot wear bulky clothes. I don't like skin tight clothes either. Too restricting! What a dilemma! If I was tall and skinny like you, I'd probably try those new styles.
Hi Beth, I really love some of these trends, but the sheer outfits, no pants are a big NO, plus I don’t want to free my nipples. No one needs to see them. LOL. I’m not to big into the oversized outfits, I don’t mind a little oversized but some of them are just plain ridiculous.. Thank you for another great video.🌷🌷

Shopping your closet is the best shopping spree ever!
I love a sweater dress with knee high boots ❤
Such a classic and chic look!
I love to wear it too. I need to by a new pair of boots for this winter.
I kind of don't like the fall style this year, I'll stick with the old color more classy.

All our 90’s styles. Vests, fitted blazers are back. I kept a few items, hopefully they don’t rip on me! Ha.

First time watching you, I’m 83 and I love fashion. Love the new colors for 23, got too go shopping
Thank you for showcasing Fall fashion trends for the ladies of "A Certain Age" with 🍏 shapes is a win. ❤ 👏 🤗
You are so welcome!

I will definitely bring out my red suede flats😊
Love love the colors! I have several red shoes! We’re still in 100 deg weather in Houston Texas!’n😅

I love red…one of my favorite colors!!
It's a flattering color!
Love the red. Not so much oversized anything as a shorter person. They make me look shorter and chunkier
I didn't love the cold shoulder trend so I doubt I'll do the one-shoulder tops but I love the bold color pops 😊
I was waiting, love watching you I will be 67 and always told I look very young for my age.
Lots of great choices! I love greeting fall with wool and cashmere clothes but hate that it leads to winter 😂. Happy Birthday Beth!
I agree! But I’m sooooo happy my winters are short! Although I like to break out my jackets and coats.
@@BethDjalali I hope we got your birthday correct. I noticed another subscriber wish you HB and wanted to extend my well wishes too.

Thanks for remembering my birthday!
I have an oversized black blazer and that's fun to wear with a fitted tee and my skinny jeans.
Oversized for me makes me look shorter and chunkier!
Happy Birthday Ms. Beth!💐🎂

Some of those models look absolutely ridiculous. Are we really supposed to look like that? It hilarious! The one with the diver oven mitts! 😂
I LOVE RED!
Been doing this for years with a touch of bold just to break the monotony of fall colors.
Thank you for this video, I’ll say yes to red, leather and transparency with a camisole under. ❤
Love navy & black! We all have worn black with denim so this ‘trend’ is not that new! Looking forward to combining it more in my work wardrobe, along with brown/black.
It’s a style trick borrowed from the boys who have successfully worn this color combo for years!
As a 60 year old I want to thank you for the empowerment. I am inspired

People have been going braless for a long time. Its not that shocking.
@marissashantez6051, braless and wearing something that shows nipples are 2 different things entirely.
