That's like a dream come true!! I'm betting this doesn't happen very often, but I may be wrong. I wouldn't know because I've never been ocean fishing. All my fishing has been freshwater because I live right in the middle of the country.

Since cooking is a big part of what you do, would love to see you incorporate the Ike jime technique (brain spike, bleed, spinal cord destruction, immediate ice bath) when you catch a fish and compare it to your normally processed fish.

We always called hanging low on the rail tow truck fishing. Engage the winch and pull 'em up! What an amazing trip. I'm too old for that kind of fishing any more which makes me sad because at this point in my life I can finally afford the time and cost. Always glad to travel with you kids though!!

You give the fish poppers to help them relax and get in the mood.
a big reason people on the west coast use big treble hooks on their knife jigs now and other jigs is because when the big ones eat it they usually swallow it and hook them in the gills so the hook destroys the gills and makes it a five maybe ten minute fight.

Hey pro tip. In most places you can fillet a fish and ice the filets right away BUT you must keep the carcass until you are done fishing. Check your regs. At least that's the story I got from NFW.

So I just learned something new watching the video. The other day I cruising in my boat about 13 miles offshore and I ran into two large schools of dolphins and I just passed them up. I thought it was a tuna boil. I was trolling but nothing hit and went on my way. I should have thrown a jig at the school to see if there were any tuna in the mix. SMH🤦♂️🤦♂️ . Next time I'll be prepared .
