Good job DB. These modern mini wheel bearings are a treat to do compared to other cars

I just sold my 2011 Countryman to pay for the '88 Classic mini. The All4 C was the only car I've ever owned where no shop manual was available so I sold it before things started to need replacement. Didn't want to rely on the dealership to fix every little thing. It only had 33k KM's on it, original rubber. Nice modern accouterments, quite a culture shock driving the real mini now.
BTW, you might want to get a hand impact driver, the kind you whollop with a hammer...very useful for knocking stiff screws/bolts loose like you had in this video. I also use dead-blow type rubber mallets...much better for beating on stuff.

you could have removed the brake yoke bolts first snd removed the caliper with it, to save a step, either way, is acceptable

Do you mean that bracket? I really want to try and do this repair myself after the $2000 I just gave the garage for other things... TY!

I tried replacing mine and can't get the top left bolt from behind, the axel is in the way.

Were you able to put it together?

@@American_Hustler Yes, It was a while ago. I think I just needed a short socket and the right angle or, maybe I inserted the socket first and then attached the extension once the socket was in place.
