    You make it look pretty easy. I've found as I get older, my willingness to take mechanical adventures like this is becoming limited. But who knows, maybe I'll consider this in the future.

    You replaced the brake discs with ones that were painted with an anti corrosion coating. Painted discs do not need to be cleaned prior to installation. The brake pads remove the coating in very short order. If you read the install pamphlet it would state “install as is”. Also you presumably cleaned the two sliding pins before re greasing them but you didn’t clean the old grease from the bore holes in the caliper bracket. That should have been done. The rubber boots should be checked for tears or cracks.
    Finally why did you replace the caliper? Was the piston seized? Calipers last a very long time. 6:46

      I actually tried but my local auto supplies store was all out of high temp paint besides the color silver...
