I've owned all 3. loved them all for different reasons. they all had their problems. they are all junk, I mean for what we pay for them. all 3 of my diesels left me walking at some point. shit happens. they are mechanical and stuff don't last forever. Lots of people saying it has a Cummins which is why it sounds the way it does, which is in fact, incorrect. My 2016 6.7 PowerStroke is tuned and deleted as is this one with custom tunes. I made a request to my tune builder to change the position of the turbo veins at idle and low rpm to achieve this sound because it was too loud for my neighbourhood to sound like a fighter jet, however when its colder out it will hiss and scream like a fighter jet cause the veins will be in position to warm the truck faster, its all in the tunes.
Throttle Out 250 any chance you have a link to ypur tune builder? im fixin to buy a truck this year and really want to delete it as soon as possible, and really am not a fan of the hiss, so it would be nice to have it tuned to sound similar to this. Thanks

Well I guess that's why every truck is different right? I built my truck the way I wanted it, its not just a mall crawler or show truck. I used my truck and it is my daily driver. It has 37" tires on 22x14" wheels so with an 11" lift on it that's as big of tire as I can run without it rubbing when I turn. It's not some peace of shit mud truck so I'm gonna keep it how it is and take care of it
i dont have a degree im actually fortunit that a spot opened at my work and they needed someone that wantes to learn it and so i stepped in like a year ago .

Do you have the VGT system disabled? Curious, as the Scorpions I've always heard have more of a turbine whine to them at idle when running an aftermarket exhaust...maybe it's just the audio from the vid??

If its a diesel truck put some smoke stacks on it. I personally think diesel trucks w/o stacks r ugly. I also like the look from them. If i were u, i'd put smoke stacks on it. It'll help..
If you're like me; and have a brand preference [in my case Chevrolet], do yourself a favor and just go test drive one of these damn trucks, you will change your mind.

tlj Conventional Longitudinal GM powertrains are simple and reliable; considering you don't drive like a complete grandma or a complete douche bag. That being said, every manufacturer has its lemons of production, and you'll find many people disappointed with every brand; hands down. Mopar performance also has reliable powerplants, but I wouldn't touch their transmissions with a ten foot pole, [unless its a T56Mag]. Ford over-engineers everything they shovel off the assembly line, but I do like their 7.3 and 6.7 Diesels; and only the diesels. Everything else is a waste of money.

Smoke stacks are for semis. Not light to medium duty trucks.
