I like to go over each track individually, equalize with the channel equalizer, I use a compressor and limiter, then bring up/lower, change frequency. I focus on getting a smooth vocal. Cut bass vocals and adjust frequencies individually till it’s crisp. Run em all together afterwards to blend the vocals together to your ears taste. (Yea , my ear can taste a fire production) 🤷🏽‍♂️😂 I take the extra air out and really take my time on each track individually !!! People like to set their presets when you want the same sound but I like to give it to my ear each time. Best advice I can give is patience and vibes

open your vocals in a wave editor and select the softer parts of the waves and make them louder in the wave editor, this is much more precise then using automation and it adds a nice natural transition instead of a hard transition…. It also makes it very visible if the end result will be more equal volume

Hi, You can change the width of a stereo recording by using the Zoom MS VST twice, first to code to MS and a second to decode back to stereo. The width can then be adjusted using the second MS decoder

A great simple tip for making sure your vocal is loud enough in the mix is to slowly fade your master volume down to silence - Listen carefully as you fade down, the last thing you should be able to hear is your main vocal! If you hear something else then your vocal is too low.
Big Love, enjoyed the video 💃🏾🪩🕺🏾

Great video! Thank you! My favourite plugin for vocals, and for other very dynamic instruments, is the Waves MV2 for the automation phase. It saves a lot of time to reduce the dynamic range and get a more even performance. I hope this is useful too.

These videos are always very interesting thank you for what you do🙏 when I mix my vocals I use different plugins including Fresh Air by slate digital which in my opinion is a very underrated plugin that can give a lot of clarity on the mid/high frequencies after cleaning the vocals, as an eq I use a lot the soothe2 because I find it very convenient as a final eq to give me the cleanest sound possible

fix before you mix ;) eq to remove unecessary sub frequencies and resonances, edit volume, and timing if necessary, manually word by word, compress subtly with a very slow attack and fast release and a 2:1 ratio in parallel, add saturation to enrich harmonics and lastly tune it! now is ready for mixing 🌟🎶👌

I would like ask that how to create a demon vocal effect , cuz I'm a hardstyle producer too , Will be really helpful if you make a tutorial on this one , Demon effect sounds really nostalgic in Hardstyle tracks , Anyways thankyou man 🙌🙌

  • @soularunderground8618

The best tip I can offer is to keep an open mind and don't be afraid to try new things. Innovate. Follow hard and fast technical rules that apply to audio quality, but test the limits with regards to creativity. Everything has pretty much been done, but put your own stank on it. It's that which sets you apart.
