This apartment should be a model for how all studio apartments should be set up. Great use of space and equips you with everything you need. You come up with a coffee table/dining table conversion you'll be set up perfectly.
just make sure you have a good maitience dept, more moving parts means more repairs
I'm personally a big fan of high ceiling studios with a small sleeping alcove that then has working/storage space underneath.
@@williamhaynes7089 maybe a manual override if the mechanical components fail? But def agree with you - need a good maintenance dept!
@MaverickTomcat69 the argument the first responders have is it wastes time thet dont have.. even 1 minute is too much
too many nonsense to move around and too slow
these things is just for show, if you really fill up those shelves its gonna have issue lol
if this is the future i rather just sleep in a campervan
This is by far one of the best tours. It's small and yet feels so spacious. Thanks for uploading. It was a treat to watch.
Super impressed. But even $4800 and $6400 for a studio and 1BR in NYC are insane.
This is by far my favorite apartment to date. I think the functionality with that view is absolutely amazing!
Yeah and it’s only $4600 a month. A high end, fancy shoe box with a good view.
Even with a one bedroom apartment this could solve so much storage issues! Very interesting. Thanks for showing Cash 🤙🏻
Insane to condition yourself to such ridiculous prices
It's also insane the percentage of the NYC population who have incomes to afford it. Everything is relative.
this concept would be amazing in Asia except most studios there are too small to even implement this
@@Temarama7 The one shown in vid is 2k a month thats becoming the average price in lots of places even where I live in Arizona.
@@Temarama7a lot of people in NYC make 6, 7 and 8 figures a year. Different environment then where u live
This is 100% me if I lived in NY. Got the Scandinavian colors/ minimalistic/functional areas/hygge vibes + the view+ location. So far, my personal fave in ALL of your videos.
you ok with the $4600 a month?
@@williamhaynes7089 Yes. Good location, good vibes. Time is worth more for me.
@@tigerofcopenhagen2225 du kan få 130 kvm på strøget for den pris. lol
@williamhaynes7089 that's what it costs to live in the heart of NYC in a very active area. If you can't afford it you don't live there.
@@williamhaynes7089 Any massive city like LA or NYC if youre going to live in the center of it near stuff youre going to pay several times more than if you lived in a slightly smaller large city in any other state. It's just how it is man. I pay $1100 renting a house in my state. For 4 months I get to live in my place vs 1 month of this place but like Tiger said it's about the experience of the city and place you are living in. If you love it so much you'll make it work somehow.
When the power goes out which it always does I hope the bed is down.
Kristen Dirksen toured this apartment a couple of months ago.. her whole family spent a night here.
Yes, I saw her video!!!
Brilliant layout, great view, new building, and $2k less than 1 bedroom. For a single person in NYC, this is an optimal living space.
so 3.5k/m? for 250sqft?
Still 4,650 dollars per month. 😞
@@FirstLast-bi1veexactly ! I looked the places up in NYC, since I lived there and was like…. Ummmm.. no.
One person? I was thinking perfect for 2 humans, a dog, 2 cats, and maybe another cat.
My cat would def sneak into one of the closing walls - she would LOVE IT. All those nooks to snuggle up where nobody can bother her! Haha😂 ...as long as she doesn't get squished, of course 🥴
😊 They probably stop if they hit something, just like the bed .
Well THAT was interesting! I've lived in studios, but nothing like this! This is fabulous! Thanks Cash. What a lifestyle change, to live in one of these!!
I have watched European apartment tours with those systems. They look so nice and functional. Glad to see they are here in the US. That would make it easier to live in a studio.
YES! And, hopefully I'm not offending anyone, but the USA ought to be ASHAMED that these creative/solutions design concepts and innovations are all originating internationally with the USA lagging far behind! This is what happens when a society... never mind... let me not go political here. It's not the place. However, this just INFURIATES me!!!
@sinash we've fallen behind for decades in different areas. Think garments & leather shoes. We were so cocktail that we were the best & then came China to steal our thunder
@@MamaCarola1 Not China, IMHO. Yep, China can knockoff and get a "good" Hermès Birken out on the streets in less than 20 minutes but as for innovation? Not too good. Germany... well, pretty much anywhere in Europe is just stomping the USA. As for medicines, would you believe that even Cuba is possibly more innovative than the USA?
@@MamaCarola1 that's a result of greedy CEOs who wanted more profit for themselves
@@sinash
Yeah, yeah

Lived in studios for years. The most innovative thing was a Murphy bed that swung out from the closet and a stove on legs.
This is really incredible space design with its versatility. You would probably have to develop an interest in minimalism living because that's part of why it looks so big.
Just one question: What happens if the power goes out?
If bed isnt DOWN... your sleeping on couch.. if you work from home and office closed, i guess you miss work?
Having lived in NYC during Hurricane Sandy, you're also *walking* up and down 54 floors...
@@williamhaynes7089 if you work from home and there's no power you will skip work any way, so I don't think the office space being closed would have to much impact on that. And its NYC, the only time there's mid to long term power shortages is on natural disasters, and in those situations you should'nt care a lot about work.. or sleeping on the couch. So I think this is pretty nice
They are just catching up to this concept now... I found a video I first saw years ago (it's 10 years old) here on RUclips that is a MUST SEE for anyone interested in this concept of transforming apartments. It's called "Extreme transformer home in Hong Kong: Gary Chang's 24 rooms in 1" - this is the one that started it all as far as I'm concerned. It's BRILLIANT.
first studio apartment i’ve seen where i genuinely would live without feeling like i’m living in too small of an area
So cool! What a clever way to afford the space you need in the neighborhood you want
Out of all of the places that You have shown on this awesome channel-Tgis is most definitely my favorite..!! 💯🔥
Thank you!
Very nice, bright, clean, great kitchen and bath,, fantastic closet... awesome design.
That's really cool! And i loved the decor and color choices too! Very cosy!
Great job by Ori, with their expandable small apartment solutions & to Cash & Andrew for showing it to us. If you enjoy a place for everything & everything in it's place way of life, this would be the solution for you.
The views are my favorite!
Hi Cash and to your friend this is a unique NYC apartment. I like all the cool amenities and great shops and restaurants. Stay well and safe 👍😎
This is fabulous. So ingenious and beautifully thought out and designed.
I really want to hate on the fact that this is over $4000/mth. The planning and execution are impeccable. The view is amazing. The use of space is phenomenal. The bathroom is gorgeous and spacious which is important for a big guy like me. I'm glad you asked to see it with everything extended too. This apartment is everything I would ask for as a minimalist and the view can't be beat. My only question would be: Is this feasible in an area that doesn't NEED to make the most of its space like NYC? This seems like something that wows because of its location. Like I said, $4000+ a month wouldn't fly in most of the US, but as population density increases I see the future value in this design mindset.
After 911 and all the recent building collapses, I don't think I would sleep soundly. 4000/mo is outrageous.
&4500 per month Most jobs don't pay more than $20 hrs 😄
The US could just stop flooding itself with migrants and prices would plummet
i would subtract 1k for auto and insurance on it. Since you dont need a car, so its still alot, but 6k is probably way more like he was saying.
Yeah this is nuts! While I love the price of this apartment that price makes it way out of reach for most people. On top of that, its still only a studio apartment which makes it even more nuts. Cut that price in half and I think that would be ok. Especially since with apartments that size you can create a whole, whole lot of them@@TheDerangedBlood
I’m so grateful for my house out in the country… Videos like this is a great reminder
Same here 😊
I've seen a lot of apartments and tiny houses and such on RUclips, and I have to say... This is absolutely the best looking apartment I've seen in New York city, the view, the space... and while I realize its a lot of money, the price for that view and everything in New York is crazy.... Stellar work guys
This is absolutely INCREDIBLE!!!!! Another one of those “why didn’t I think of that” kinda things. So so so cool!
This is a game-changer for small apt living. Beautifully designed.
Cash, I think you have shown, or toured this type of apartment before. This tour was different though as it is more engaging than your previous coverage of a similar unit. I like this question and answer format so that’s helpful in terms of understanding how the unit functions. Movable parts make sense. Modern design and efficiency is incredible. Thank you for sharing this with us!
Great tour. I see myself loving this kind of apartment. Please bring this concept to more places like Sydney, alot of people would adore this concept and it would make sense in a large city.
OMG! That is a really great apt. Love that they fit laundry in it. You would never guess it's a studio. Good price for what you get
I'm very impressed with this. Luxury without the price tag. Idea for a single or even a couple. Great idea. Thanks guys.
Very nice! Clean, clear, everything is here! And it's nice to look at!
Have to agree that the ideas in this are amazing . Very functional.
I just love this studio.
I have seen these before. Makes excellent use of space.
Best tour to date. I can see this in a tiny house along with solar so when you lose power. Totally amazing. 😊
This is a cool apartment. Cash and Andrew are fun to watch.
Aw, thanks!
I absolutely love this concept and set up! Very functional, and I could definitely see myself being able to live in it. The only thing I would need is a litter box that the cat could open out of the wall through a chip or something!
Love it! This is the best functional studio apartment. It's fabulous!
That view is divine.
That is the most amazing system I have ever seen. Well done. I love it. That unit is liveable but not without that system. Incredible.
Morning!
This is dreamy, for city living
The technology would would work well in London, in the edwardian house, with large rooms and high ceilings
Maybe someday this kind of design for studios will be the norm because it uses the space so well. And gosh, that view is *gorgeous*.
Wow! I love this! So cool 😊
Now that's what I love💞
Oh that’s really impressive! I love it and it’s so innovative and creative! Brilliant!
Piece of art how its designed. Respect.💪
That is so nice! Well thought out.
I remember watching a video presenting the company that makes them when they had just a prototype working. So happy to see it's getting popular!!!
Honestly this should be in a lot of houses or apartment. This is an amazing design meant for maximizing space without feeling cramped which is what my room needs. Its small so I just have to push my bed into my closet.
I love watching these videos but this one was useful for a future move.
Nice features and move in ready.
Awesome job cash see you tomorrow
Very cool and a great neighborhood!
This is really cool 👍 Especially the transforming office, absolutely loved that
Outstanding space management
I really love this one! That view alone is worth the price!
Love these! I lived in studios in my 20s, and having that incredible use of space would have been ideal
I won’t lie about how super DOPE that apartment is! 🤩🤩🤩
The best thing I've seen in ages. I wonder if it they could design a coffee table that could convert to a 4 person dining table for throwing some dinner parties!
really like this place. . .i also like the office in the open position. beautiful bathroom and kitchen too. 😁 btw like the music in this vid. 😃
This is Gonna b so Cool CJ🔥🔥🔥👍n Happy Tuesday😀….
That is my all-time favorite apartment. Everything is well thought out, and it's new and clean. The window seat would be my favorite place to relax. Love the views, and the neighborhood. I couldn't afford it, of course, but I certainly enjoyed the tour!
Hi wonderful Cash! ❤love your amazing videos! Love this apartment. This man needs to design tiny homes for regular people all over the USA! I buy one and I know other seniors who would buy one too if the price was reasonable!
It’s wild that now I’m watching you document the fall of NYC.
Loved this apartment! ❤
Cash- No matter where you live it sounds like Oriliving can be a great choice for living small while still having it all. 😁
Great job! Enjoyed this episode a lot.
Fantastic idea!
You were energized and focused.
Keep going!☮️👏👏👏👏
I like the interior but it's not worth. 1800$ for a fold up bed. and a moving closet.
Lmaaao-I loved the moment where you were at High Line and said ‘and you can follow THESE rules’. One rule listed-No Pets.
Next frame, 2 dogs right in the middle 😹
Insanely cozy i like it a lot
I totally love this apartment. It´s the coolest idea.
Really nice, great use of space. Fantastic Location. Price is Fair for NYC.
Very good solutions to maximize the usability of the space .
I love this!
Wow I love this!!!!! Okay I may move to NY for one of these!
What a cool apartment! The ultimate in efficiency!
And my husband said what happens when you send your wife up there! LOL! We love your podcast and watch each morning while we enjoy our coffee.
you probably get in BIG trouble
I was thinking the same thing right before Cash said it, I would leave the office and the closet out. I really loved the compartmental feel
yeah, it's mostly for guests as two people would feel more cramped.
Beautiful apartment
4600 a month to live in a space just a hair larger than a prison cell is certainly an interesting choice.
We need this in Hong Kong and Tokyo. It would add so much living space into this a studio apartment. Wonderful design.
beautiful presentation sending love light to you all
that was epic...loved it
This is awesome!!
Love this! I could see myself living somewhere like this 🤩
Great idea. This system can make most small spaces so much more livable. I could live in one. 😊
"I havvve shoes... ". 😂💜
Oh my….I am in love ❤
this is brilliant design. and livable
very nice design with functional features
This was very cool and innovative.
Very interesting apartment 😊
Finally you see that!!!
That was friggin awesome
Thats one incredible apartment.
That would be a perfect retirement pad for me, except for the price. $3400 is probably my max affordability.
Disappointing that the toilet didn't retract into the ceiling. :o)
Maybe next year!
Hahah next time
That is really cool!
