I use flaxseed gel to do my flexirods set and always used to detangle first and then use the gel. Now I know I can just use it at the beginning and it'll make the whole process a lot easier.

My long hair is sectioned & loosely braided into six braids every night before bed. I cover with satin bonnet. Saves me the trouble of detangling before styling. I never allow my hair to get matted - & my days are just as busy as the next person.

Aussie moist shampoo is so good you can detangle with it. After I use assuie conditioner to deep condition. 30 minutes all together

This is my hair.. now I have to go to the hair store and pick up a bottle. I want to scream at this point, my hair has never been this tangled!! Oh my gosh! And it's just been washed. I’ve discovered detangling with shampoo and OMG! What a game changer. It’s so much easier then I simply stand under the shower wash out and boom ready my conditioner.
Forgot to add it took me less than 30mins with just water and shampoo and I have 4B/C.

I needed this product earlier this week. Usually my African pride aloe vera works but I'm still finding tangles in my hair after washing it at least five times now.
That stuff makes my hair feel like straw after I rinse it out
So I suppose to use the detangling cream right after I take out my braids and after the process wash and condition?
Doesn't matter what anyone says. Nothing makes my hair easier to de-tangle. I have very thick, course tangled when wet hair. That finger detangle thing does not work for me. I need a comb 100% of the time 🙄😒😪

What if the thick curly hair is knotted in knots ? I tried wetting it with conditioner on my little one & it only created it to get harder and knot more.
That’s a fairy knot. Your have to cut those out with proper hair scissors. Wet the hair with water and then conditioner before ever trying to detangle
Do you leave it in the braids while you wash? Or arre you just showing detangling
Your hair was braided that means it wasn't tangled in the first place
I do the same but with conditioner in the shower, I separate and then use a detangling brush, current favorite brush is made by wetbrush

I'm half black and white and have curly hair. I've allowed my hair to become mstted/dread like for months. I brush my hair on top and put it in a bun but is in a big ball. Will I be able to get it out? I'm dreading it. This isnt the first time I've as lliwed this to happen and am stressed. My husband keeps saying brush your hair and I'm like its not that easy. It's literally matted together. I'm really scared I'll have to cut it off. I got the shea moisture leave in conditioner and the aussie conditioner. I guess I just gotta try now. Gotta get a spray bottle.

Had to cut-off at my scalp where the bun started. the top is still a little longer so I am just trying to grow it but it's short like a Halle Berry short with longer curls on top. I'm overweight so not my favorites but I rock it. I got highlights in it too now. My hair was matted, molded real bad. I am just glad I still have hair lol
Girl my hair was just in a idk it was just matted and I had to cut out so much knots and then I thinned it out and it’s easier to get through but so uneven xD It’s kind of looking like a mullet but I don’t feel like cutting it shorter
How long did you have the bun in?
My hair gets tangled like the drop of a pin so maybe a few weeks that I thought ugh I hate detangling and it was matted
@@musiclover6842 I had to literally put leave in conditioner in a spray bottle with water and get my hair super wet then I added more regular conditioner and the took a wide tooth comb and started detangling.
How tf can u divide the hair if it's matted? This was not helpful at ALL!!!
