What Rendon is doing is so morally wrong. Dude plays 40 games a year, tries to fight fans, and makes trash comments about the game of baseball every interview. Hes that guy who talks about doing his "job" all the time but calls in sick 3 days a week. Has no aspirations of winning another championship or being an elite competitor. Has no heart for the game. @@45vinyljunkie Your theory would be more valid if 1) he hadn't been one of the best players in the league during the COVID season, which was after he joined the Angels and had the big contract and 2) if he hadn't been battling injuries since then.
Also, Papelbon is one of the worst sources you could possibly find. There are several past teammates that have come out publicly stating how dumb he is. Seriously, look it up. I wouldn't trust this guys judgement or opinion of his teammates nor do I care what his values or priorities are. He freaking choked Harper for not hustling. I'd venture to say that Papelbon, besides being a moron, might make baseball too much of a priority.

Angels front office is so bad man… So nobody ask around on what kind of person is Anthony Rendon is before signing him to a 250 million dollar contract. It’s not that hard.. just make a few phone calls .. geeez

Rendon didn't say he didn't want to play anymore. He eluded to this: if his family or faith calls him away from the game, he's going. At the MLB level, the game is a job, and yes, most players want to win, but I think Rendon is suggesting that as a commodity, he has to first be loyal to himself. Every MLB player is selfish to a higher degree than most people. If you're not, you cannot get to that level. Front offices are rarely loyal to players, so a player has to learn to be loyal to himself first and foremost above all else.

You guys should do a front office ranking, background of the gm, how they got to that point, etc. Cause it seems like the chris young model of building a team can be successful. You guys have a deep knowledge of the game plus the wherewithal to call players bullshit. Front offices can't make those decisions, but you guys are building something great here, official watchdogs of the MLB 🤘 keep doing what your doing, you guys can harness the power to change front offices I believe.

No one pays attention to the Angels at all👍🏻 they also have a young team full of players that care and want to win with coaches that want the same. Just another person that wants to shit on the Angels🎉 my guess would be at least a 75 win team this year. Hopeful for improvement but don’t see much if any. Trout cares about winning, but he’s loyal. I don’t see how him being loyal translates to he doesn’t care about winning.

Faith? Was he making his faith a PRIORITY when he lost his self-control and assaulted a fan in the stands?
His character is his destiny. Rendon craps on fans and sports writers. What faith is he practicing and making a priority when he craps on fans and media? 5atan worshipping?
