@Mourning Star Nah, man. His comments are (as i see it) just without filtering sometimes. :D He has a great sense of humor and come on. Why ARE the foot clan back in time with the turtles?
The SNES port is legitimately better than the arcade version of the game. More levels, control options, improvements to pre-existing levels, sharper controls (being able to manually throw and slam foot soldiers for more points and area control) and extra bosses (Rocksteady and Bebop, Ratking, Slash and Super Shredder). Hell, it even had a Vs. mode. The Arcade version had smoother animations and full sound clips, but the SNES port trumps it in everything else. And sadly, because of the license expiring like 20 years ago, it will never be brought back.
theGreenGoblin its also way better then the sega version, it also has more levels and better sound. Actually in the sega version you literally start on the 3rd level
theGreenGoblin The arcade has waay better presentation/sound/graphics, but the controls and combat were quite bad, which was was the only important improvement of the SNES version. Overall, the arcade version is a better party game, while the SNES version has better combat but worse music/graphics and isn't as chaotic. Either way it's an unremarkable game IMO, there are way better beat 'em ups.
I love every video with Mike! He's awesome. I love the glitch videos, the reviews, the speedpaintings, when he plays video-games and board-games with James, and all that stuff.
So here's what I think happened. Shredder sends the Turtles back in time and then a few days later, he fights the Turtles as Super Shredder. He realizes at that point that his plan to have them die of old age in the past has failed because some space time anomalies keep pushing them through time. As a result, he sends his foot soldiers to various points in time that he knows the Turtles are going to be. Because of this, the Turtles and the foot soldiers appear at the same time, but left from two different points in the present.
For me this was the only game that if we got a "Game Over" we didnt throw tantrums or whine about it. We looked forward on re-kicking every boss's ass.
13Gangland You're not getting a 4 player version unless you play the arcade rom on MAME, because it's not compatible with the SNES multitap. Take it or leave it.
One thing I found interesting about this game was the fact that while most of it was based on the Cartoon from the 90's. They actually included the two super mutant pets of the Shred from the second film. If they ever make a true successor to this game one day. I'd like an option, even if it's a hidden option in the game to play as other characters that could fight. Casey Jones or Splint for example.
dammit i'm months late for this joke.. soon as i heard it i ran to the comments section.... u know what they say, great minds think alike.. apparently this also applies to perverted ones :P
JIF882 You have to get very close to the foot while they're stunned then I think it's toward+attack or down+attack. I usually shoulder ram them, pause for a split sec, then attack and it works most of the time.
There's one level where to do damage to the boss you have to throw the guy into the camera. We could never figure out how to do it! We just beat up the bad guys until it worked lol.
James sounds a lot better being his true self rather than being the Nerd. Mind you, both series are awesome but it's more refreshing to see him talking about games in a more casual tone, rather than listening to "Fuck this, fuck that" everytime.
I love the Angry Nerd videos. They'll always be entertaining to me. But I definitely like that they decided to do a series like this as well. It's a different kind of entertainment, watching them just sit and casually play and discuss a game. So many people play online nowadays, and play competitively, you don't see many people just sitting in the same room enjoying an offline game anymore.
Litigious Society To be fair though, most of the games AVGN does aren't nearly as frustrating and awful as he makes them sound. Even Jekyll and Hyde is playable once you figure it out. Not very fun, and is indeed a bad game. But not nearly as hard or earth-shatteringly bad as he makes it out to be. Same applies to most games he does. He blows it out of proportion for comedic effect. Hell, one of the best examples I've seen is Silver Surfer. He makes it sound like the worst thing ever. They even did a James & Mike play out of it, and still made it sound ridiculous. It's not even a very hard game. Once you get a powerup or two, it actually becomes a bit too EASY, and you can run through it in no time as long as you're not horrible at it and run into every wall you see. But in every video he's mentioned it, he acts like it's one of the hardest NES games ever, and the worst thing since Hitler. And it's fairly easy, and kinda fun once you get a couple powerups.
My friends would always keep trying to hit the bosses during their death animation which annoyed the fuck out of me, im like 'We got him already chill out'
jeff peake It isn't. If you didn't buy both TMNT (Re-Shelled and the Arcade game) games before, you can never buy them again. They were taken off the Xbox Live Marketplace and PSN store a couple years ago thanks to Ubisoft losing the license to the turtles franchise, because Nickelodeon bought it for their new cartoon. I personally loved Re-Shelled, but I've seen a ton of hate for it.
***** I did love versus mode in the SNES game, but nope. Instead you had quickplay mode to let you play any level in the game (even the boss fight with Shredder), and Survival mode, which could be done in co-op locally or online, on top of the normal story mode. Plus the added difficulty level of Hardcore. Would've been cool if they added in a versus, though, but I guess since it was a 4-player co-op game that would be hard to add.
Yeah, that would have been a cool idea. But I guess given how the game plays, it might've been tough. Everything moved quick like in the arcade version.
jeff peake No it's not. Hasn't been for a long time. But they didn't keep the ninjas being thrown at the screen like right at you. That kind of ruined it for me a little. But the graphics and combat were great.
Dude I love this series so much becuase they literally talk like they're 13. I feel like most of us can relate to them from when we had sleepovers and stuff with our mates, talking about April O Neil tits and shit LOL
Ahh, the glorious 90's Though I never understood that weird pose Shredder does when he gets hit or when he's defeated. Twisting your arms like that is super uncomfortable and certainly not something you'd do as a reaction to getting punched.
I, too, never understood this. Perhaps Shredder is in the early stages of cerebral palsy, and the impact of the turtles' blows brings forward his symptoms.
OMG, I love this game! This, Super Castlevania IV, TLofZ: A Link to the Past, Donkey Kong Country, and Super Mario World are probably my all-time, top 5 SNES games.
T ES Haha! I thumbed up your comment because you definitely make a great point... Super Metroid isn't in my list because I've still never played it yet, unfortunately. (I still own and love Metroid on NES, though.)
andoc Those are some great games you've mentioned, but, unfortunately, I haven't really had the chance to play the SNES enough. I never really owned one (I owned a Sega Genesis back then), so I've never quite gotten to a good number of SNES games I'd love to play through, including those you mentioned.
My list is always different to everyone else's. When I was a kid, and games were still coming out for it, I didn't really buy, or play a lot of the "popular" games. I had Castlevania IV, Zelda, and DKC, but barely played them. Instead my top 5 tends to be a bit weird to some people. Top Gear 3000, Aladdin, Bubsy, Mario All-Stars, and Street Fighter 2 Turbo. (Mario World would probably be number 6, and Batman Returns would probably be 7) I still enjoy a lot of other games. I like LTTP, DKC, Castlevania, F-Zero, Final Fantasy, Chrono Trigger, Mega Man, Metroid, and whatever other games are popular. They'd be up there near my top 30 or so. But I just didn't play them when I was younger really. My list is more Nostalgia based. On a slightly different topic, I think my most played DKC game is DKC 2, just because I got it on my GBA a few years ago and played the hell out of it.
I never understand why but Mega Drive/Genesis version feels more responsive and quicker than SNES game, graphicaly is SNES better with more animations (like throwing goons on screen) but Mega Drive/Genesis version is more pleasant to play, almost as good as Streets of Rage 2 and 3. But music in Streets of Rage series is much, much more memorable.
It's not your imagination. Attacks are faster and have much better hitboxes, the dash button is a legitimate game changer... It does play much better. Hyperstone Heist is the better game if only by a smidgen.
One of my prefered games. I took me a lot of time to find it. I saw it available in a catalog that mainly sells clothes and paid something like 102 or 112 converted in $ USD . Then one day I lent it to friend of mine, and I never got it back, he never told me why, I never know what happened -___- . I still have the box, need to get one cartridge. I had recorded some musics on a tape and I usualy used to play it on my walkman ^_^ . The music from the sewer surfin' stage makes me crazy, so good.
Even though the first Turtles game on the NES is hard and mostly glitchy as hell, everybody remember that game. It was "the shit" back in the days. That damn dam level. Still having a hard time playing through that level. And yes, first TMNT game is based on the comic book. On the the NES game box art, every turtles headband is red, just like in the comic book. They really need to remake this game, just like Capcom made with Ducktales.
MorianMithrill I remember my mom renting us that game honestly thinking she was getting the arcade version. Imagine our surprise when it turned out not to be XD But we still managed to like it
This is THEE game for two players, other than the Donkey Kong Country games. I recall overplaying this with my sister, and it is possibly the only game I could beat on the hardest level. It was so awesome. When I think of TMNT, this game always pops into my mind. :)
SEO Toy Review Although, technically, the Sega Genesis had a stripped down version of the game called Hyperstone Heist. Virtually the same game, just without the time travel.
well mr nerd it is quite obvious why they r teleportin through all the time periods step by step back to the present ..... since they dont belong there the space-time slowly pushes them back to the future cuz otherwise time itself would get crushed by their mere presence. space-time has an almost human manner to preserve itself. and of course shredder sent those minions back through time since he knows that he only bought some time. also: as soon as they reach 88 mph they shld see some serious shit :D
Man I used to LOVE this game and you and mike definitely remind me of me and my friends and cousins when I was younger. Yeah and we definitely played this at least a hundred times, it was one of the best games ever made at the time and everyone knew it. I love how you guys play games together and have such gaming synergy, ive been watching you since before you were popular (through your bedroom window)
I so wanna find a friend who enjoys old school games like I do 'cause right now everyone one of my friends who play them with me just complain about the graphics all the time. Fuckin hell
+Retro PAL Your friends sound like lame punks. I also wish I had someone who would play these kinds of games with me. Watching Mike and James brings me back to the days when I could play these games with my brother and our friends. Such awesome memories.
They are all the same age as me and born in 1997. I noticed that kids mostly under 10 years old will play old games with me and won't even care if the graphics are bad. Why do you think older people care but young kids don't?
+Retro PAL I have the same problem, I mean I am playing them on an original Xbox but it still counts to me. I don't know anyone that would play them with me so I have to do it on my own :(
why is it that arcade games graphics were so much better than console? It's the complete opposite now, I was at Dave & Busters playing Time Crisis a couple of days ago and that games graphics are a joke. it's almost as if arcade graphics never got out of the mid 90's.
Yeah, for the most part, they don't make many newer arcade games anymore. The newest one I've played is this Batman racing/shooting game, that came out last year. I was surprised to see it, actually. But still, it didn't compare, graphics-wise, to what the PS4 and Xbox One can do. It was still pretty cool, though, especially for a Batman fan. You can pick any of the different Batmobiles to race with, including the animated series from the 90's.
I don't like the 1987 turtles, they don't have any personalities and they are fucking clowns, that's why I like the 2003 turtles, they have personalities and don't beat around the bush.
You could even pretend you were the Raja from "Indiana Jones and The Temple of Doom" and say you were eating iced "turtle brains", like they had eaten iced monkey brains...!
I remember finding this game about 10 years ago, I almost couldn't believe it when I did. I was at the wrecking yard trying to find parts to fix my car and it was in the back of a Buick within the yard. You know what they say; one man's junk is another man's treasure. Aside from money, definitely one of my most amazing finds EVER. I still play it from time to time. I also found the Super GameBoy in a ditch about 5 years ago.
I'm sure everyone's figured it out by now, but in case you still need it, here's the scoring guide: Beat an enemy to death = 1 point Grab an enemy by the hand and slam them repeatedly = 2 points Throw an enemy at the screen = 3 points So if you want to score more and pick up extra lives faster (200 points = one extra life), keep throwing them at the screen. Also, the mud guys lose a LOT of health if you throw them at each other. It might take you three rounds of beatings to kill them conventionally, but if you throw one at the other, they die faster.
This is one of my favorite games ever, since it was one of the first ones I ever played. It just made me laugh so much how you could throw your enemies right at the screen, squash them flat with the wrecking balls, blow everyone up with those explosive barrels, and much more. It's just so addicting!

That Rocky and TMNT crossover is genius
You guys need to review a pandoras box arcade console by 3e games.
Why didn't you show the boss fight with toka and rozza!?!?! Damn it you!
i like beat em ups this looks cool altho i am more fimilliar with turtles the arcade game on nes more
That's cool idea
Turtles in Time is truly my FAVORITE Ninja Turtles game ever. With co-op, it made it a LOT better.
I liked that there was a vs mode to
I love turtles in time beaten it nomorus times but only once in hard mode with a partner 😂
One of the best things about this game is that _it actually plays the Turtles theme song._
Pizza cola and TIT was the basis of my early childhood
There’s a lot of hype for Shredders Revenge. That game looks amazing.
"Have you ever had actual turtle soup?"
"Well, I've had Ninja Turtle cereal."
Nice.
"I've eaten a cougar"..me too lol🤣
James is such a gentleman. Mike just says "tits" but James calls them "breasts". What a nice guy.

+chester 13 look out we got a badass over here!!! XDXDXDXDXDXDXDXDXD
+mewtwo chainz hell yeah

This game has an amazing soundtrack. Especially the "Neon Night Riders" music!
The Neon Night Riders track is one of my favorite pieces of video game music!
Third that. 100%
F-zero feeling sort of
This is hands down the best Turtles game out there and hands down one of the best games ever made.
"This is hands down -the best- my favourite Turtles game out there and hands down one of -the best- my favourite games ever made."
My college roommate and I played this on his laptop a while back and felt 90's nostalgia flow through my veins.
Thank you, Professor Matei, for debating the overdue Turtles-tits controversy.

TheSuperM101 Your mom.

TheSuperM101 Why thank you.
Undeabducks No problem
they don't call it Turtles in Time(TIT) for nothing.
So the full initialization would be TMNT TIT
Ha!
The only improvement this game needed was a 4 player mode, and I was waited for it for many years during the SNES life time.
online multiplayer on the ps3/4 and xbox, that would be awesome
It did get a 4 player remake with 3d models, but was pulled from xbox live and i think psn because teletoon or what ever bought the rights to TMNT
ah ok I don't have a ps4 yet but will check it out
***** it was for ps3 and xbox360 but it was taken down because who ever made, their rights to TMNT ran out.
man that sucks, kinda tough to enjoy something that don't have the rights to be remade
@3:16, I wonder how you guys like Shredder’s Revenge, since Vern, Irma, and their boss are all in it lol
Currently re-playing Turtles in Time right now, game is a fucking gem
00:31
Ah, good old Mike Matei. All the wit and humor of a 12 year old.
***** Say what you will but Mike knows his shit though
NEVER GROW UP!!!!!!!!!!
Didnt he just have his 13th bday!
@Mourning Star Nah, man. His comments are (as i see it) just without filtering sometimes. :D He has a great sense of humor and come on. Why ARE the foot clan back in time with the turtles?

theGreenGoblin There is a remake of the game.
And the less said about the remake the better. Re-Shelled was panned for a reason.
theGreenGoblin I didn't mind re-shelled. I just didn't like that it was the arcade version that was made and not the SNES version.

As a kid I always tried to stand in the same possition they moved you at the end of the level so he wouldn´t move at all, hahahaha, good times.
"I've eaten cougar..." Giggity!
This was the first game my parents bought me for my SNES. Probably played it a hundred times. Still a classic.
"There never needed to be another turtles game after this"
I love every video with Mike! He's awesome. I love the glitch videos, the reviews, the speedpaintings, when he plays video-games and board-games with James, and all that stuff.
Without a doubt, the greatest Turtles game ever made, and made with one of the best soundtracks ever!
there’s doubt now
Man, I played this countless times.
damn, 20 years and still the best TMNT game in existence.
Without a doubt.
Damn straight!
Shredder’s Revenge looking to be a solid contender 🤌
So here's what I think happened. Shredder sends the Turtles back in time and then a few days later, he fights the Turtles as Super Shredder. Oh, wait.. 😢😢😭😭
Have 0 history with this franchise, but I just picked up the Cowabunga collection and these games are so much fun
i cant count the number of hours i spent playing turtles in time that game is a masterpiece
Anyone remember Hostess Ninja Turtle Pies?
He'll yeah man I remember those. Moms would get them for me at the grocery store
Phil Tess No but I remember Ecto Cooler from Ghost Busters!
Phil Tess "Fresh from the SEWERS"!
oh yeah that's what they said in the commercials.
Those where so good I wonder if anyone still has some of those stored away?
Chicago pizza power!!
I just got Shredder's Revenge it's the perfect successor to this game and even Irma makes an appearance.
Clearly, SEGA does what nintendon`t: Give you more April O`neill
Sega did what ninten-didnt
Nintendo does what Genesisn't

+perfecttrunks2000 Hey, older women are fun. Already house trained, and you don't have to get up and feed them! They practically feed themselves.
Cougars love that third leg of his
😂😂😂😂 this killed me
One thing that always made me laugh is when you'd hear a turtle say, "My toe! My toe!"
Every so often I'll be minding my own business and suddenly, "Alley Cat Blues!" pops in to my head. It's a curse...
me too! but it's Prehistoric... Turtlesaurus
Mike still looks like he needs an extra long hug.
lol.
Nah, the SNES version is better. More stages, more bosses, doing the throw the mook into the camera on command.
JIF882 You have to get very close to the foot while they're stunned then I think it's toward+attack or down+attack. I usually shoulder ram them, pause for a split sec, then attack and it works most of the time.

better April o Neil tits
This video is seven years old now :D
The nostalgia kills me...
This is actually the first game i ever finished.
I think same
I can answer the "back in time" thing. It's a series of arenas within the Technodrome or an illusion a la Alien Wily.
Rewatching from the start. 1:53am 14/12/2024
Mike was and always will be a man of culture.
Men of culture don’t say like a hundred times a minute
"By the way, xenomorph" It's like a combination of a xenomorph and Pumpkinhead, who was literally a xenomorph Stan Winston modified.
I'm gonna have to think Shredder sending his employees back in time was probably a clear violation of OSHA regulations
Would love to see a J&M Mondays episode on Shredder’s Revenge and the Cowabunga Collection!
I personally prefer this version over the arcade
Love this game been playing it for a few weeks when i get home from work. nostalgia heaven

I never understood why Super Shredders arms went inverted, elbows up, when he got hit...lol such a weird thing to do when you get hit
Maybe the turtles are trapped in a resonance loop like Barney in the ending of Blue shift and defeating krang in Mars just stabilized the time line
6:02 "I've eaten cougar..."
My friends would always keep trying to hit the bosses during their death animation which annoyed the fuck out of me, im like 'We got him already chill out'
HES NOT DEAD ENOUGH!!!!
Yeah, my friends would do that too, haha!
Lol. I used 2 do that as well.
lol!!!!
6 yrs later..... still doing it! Hahaha
One of my fav games
You guys should play shredders revenge
I'd like to see a 3D remake of this. Like full 3D levels and everything. With gameplay sort of like that new turtles game except not a total PoS.

Who hasn't eaten cougar?
You guys HAVE TO PLAY Shredder's Revenge.
coolest and most fun game ever. I used to play this with my cousins all the time back in the day. so much rad memories
Imagine the directors of John Wick making a more mature version of TMNT without CGI...
I loved how you could throw the foot soldiers against the screen. Didn’t you have to do that to beat shredder in the technodrome?
Yes.
I always loved throwing the guys at the screen.
I watch these videos every morning. :).

FireAndFlames Mutagen will do that.
I do it when I get hit, I overreact and it makes the person not want to hit me again, lol
Maybe the Turtles broke his arms somehow and twisted them that way. I questioned that as well.
In different versions Shredder is actually an Alien ... maybe some of that alien blood got on this version o3o
Definitely bigger on SNES.
I have many fond memories of playing this game in the arcade at the roller rink. Damn, I'm old.

Instead my top 5 tends to be a bit weird to some people. Top Gear 3000, Aladdin, Bubsy, Mario All-Stars, and Street Fighter 2 Turbo. (Mario World would probably be number 6, and Batman Returns would probably be 7)
I still enjoy a lot of other games.
Can't beat that music. It's amazing
My favourite ninja turtle is Raphael :D :D
One of my prefered games. I took me a lot of time to find it. I saw it available in a catalog that mainly sells clothes and paid something like 102 or 112 converted in $ USD . Then one day I lent it to friend of mine, and I never got it back, he never told me why, I never know what happened -___- . I still have the box, need to get one cartridge. I had recorded some musics on a tape and I usualy used to play it on my walkman ^_^ . The music from the sewer surfin' stage makes me crazy, so good.
I remember playing X-men arcade and Die hard arcade(besides TMNT arcade). James and Mike talking about arcades brings back some memories.
This game was hands-down THE SHIT you HAD to play when you had a SNES
The first TMNT game on NES is actually based on the comic book.
no it isn't it is base off the 80's cartoon show but the art deisin or however this spelled as base off the comic book look it up if you don't belive
MorianMithrill no it isn't look it up on wika it says it was base o0ff the 80's cartoon show fact
MorianMithrill
I remember my mom renting us that game honestly thinking she was getting the arcade version. Imagine our surprise when it turned out not to be XD But we still managed to like it
***** yeah becuase it is ture read it yourself if you don't belive me
Wow, this brought back memories! A friend & I played this sooo many times growing up.
"My toe my toe!"
This is THEE game for two players, other than the Donkey Kong Country games. I recall overplaying this with my sister, and it is possibly the only game I could beat on the hardest level. It was so awesome. When I think of TMNT, this game always pops into my mind. :)
Man, now I want to go play this... anybody own a Sega I can borrow?
Emulators??
It's for Super Nintendo.....
suk mainuts... ha ha my bad. You're right.
SEO Toy Review
Although, technically, the Sega Genesis had a stripped down version of the game called Hyperstone Heist. Virtually the same game, just without the time travel.
No
well mr nerd it is quite obvious why they r teleportin through all the time periods step by step back to the present ..... since they dont belong there the space-time slowly pushes them back to the future cuz otherwise time itself would get crushed by their mere presence. space-time has an almost human manner to preserve itself. and of course shredder sent those minions back through time since he knows that he only bought some time. also: as soon as they reach 88 mph they shld see some serious shit :D
Man I used to LOVE this game and you and mike definitely remind me of me and my friends and cousins when I was younger. Yeah and we definitely played this at least a hundred times, it was one of the best games ever made at the time and everyone knew it. I love how you guys play games together and have such gaming synergy, ive been watching you since before you were popular (through your bedroom window)
turtles 2 was fun because it was pretty hard. this was too easy.
GREAT game! I see y'all picked the two best turtles. That's also great. Jackal great. Do Jackal.
Not only is this the best TNMT game, but it is one of the best SNES games ever made. I played this game soooo many times!
no

I so wanna find a friend who enjoys old school games like I do 'cause right now everyone one of my friends who play them with me just complain about the graphics all the time. Fuckin hell
+Retro PAL Your friends sound like lame punks. I also wish I had someone who would play these kinds of games with me. Watching Mike and James brings me back to the days when I could play these games with my brother and our friends. Such awesome memories.
Let me guess, they are born in 1995 or later.
They are all the same age as me and born in 1997. I noticed that kids mostly under 10 years old will play old games with me and won't even care if the graphics are bad. Why do you think older people care but young kids don't?
Chishannicon Their good friends but it's sad that they won't even play 'em with me.
That is exactly what I am bitching about
Arcades back then were a big thing and used top notch technology compared to consoles, now they aren't important as they were before.
maybe one day there will be a one of a kind great arcade place..but now every place just has the leftovers cuz no one really cares to buy new ones.
You can pick any of the different Batmobiles to race with, including the animated series from the 90's.
why r u playing arcade games? And who eats at dave and busters..... its like food from TGI-Fridays someone farted on
they have just brought back my memory. My brother and I would rent this game over and over and play it through at home. The game was that awesome!
too much cutted =/
I don't like the 1987 turtles, they don't have any personalities and they are fucking clowns, that's why I like the 2003 turtles, they have personalities and don't beat around the bush.
I remember playing this game on the super Nintendo entertainment system games
I remember the Ninja Turtles cereal, I use to eat those out of the Ninja Turtles cereal bowls. The ones that looks like the turtles themselves.
You could even pretend you were the Raja from "Indiana Jones and The Temple of Doom" and say you were eating iced "turtle brains", like they had eaten iced monkey brains...!
Like how Return of the Jedi didn’t need sequels.
I'm sure everyone's figured it out by now, but in case you still need it, here's the scoring guide:
Beat an enemy to death = 1 point
Grab an enemy by the hand and slam them repeatedly = 2 points
Throw an enemy at the screen = 3 points
So if you want to score more and pick up extra lives faster (200 points = one extra life), keep throwing them at the screen.
Also, the mud guys lose a LOT of health if you throw them at each other. It might take you three rounds of beatings to kill them conventionally, but if you throw one at the other, they die faster.
The only helpful comment in the section.
This is one of my favorite games ever, since it was one of the first ones I ever played. It just made me laugh so much how you could throw your enemies right at the screen, squash them flat with the wrecking balls, blow everyone up with those explosive barrels, and much more. It's just so addicting!
I havnt played this since I was a kid, but watching u guys play makes me feel like I just played it yesterday
Ninja Turtle cereal loved it as a child.
