If I didn't know who made this, I would consider this to be something Chuck Jones would've directed from the afterlife. Also the echo from James from 2:05-2:12 gives it that sound when Mel was known for when he did the voice of Bugs.
I generally like the changes with this cut, as I always thought the music during the strangling scene in the original was a bit too slow. However I personally preferred the slower pacing of 1:49-1:54. Gave it more of a “punch”, sort of speak. I also liked the “that’s all folks” spoof at the end.
