@@rizas6904 I'm also a huge fan of Hitman series. If you're referring to HM contract 2003/4 game then, yes I played the heck out of it back in the day. But still Blood money is the best imho. And Absolution is the second.

The previous entry I actually had a ton of fun with, got the platinum (ps4), I'd heavily recommend that if you're looking for cheap fun.
This is the rare bred of mid budget game, not your typical indie games, but can't compete with the AAA titles

I want a stealth VR, where it’s all about knifes and suppressors. Grassy, swampy areas where you can drag and hide bodies. Like Act of Valor type stuff. Ghillie suits are a must.

It's funny how everyone is comparing Death Stranding and Contracts, but honestly, look at the budget of the two projects - they're in a completely different league. And maybe, just maybe, the devs behind Sniper made a better use of the money and resources compared to Kojima?
Exactly. This is a really small studio yet they delivered a decent "game" unlike the walking simulator kojima delivered with his million dollar budget
This is a really dumb and asinine point of view. Kojima made an extremely polished, intricate and profound game. If you don't like it, that's fine! I'm not sure I'll like it either tbh. But just because someone makes a high quality game that is not your type of game, doesn't mean the game is in anyway bad, especially when there are clearly a lot of people who love it. So Kojima used his resources well to make something that wasn't for you. There's no need to be salty about it. Not every game has to be point and click the bad guys away.

Most problems with SGW3 completely removed without the open world and now I can see this game being incredible!

Just bought the game and honestly it's pretty fun to play and I DONT usually even play Sniper games at all. This one tho...its enjoyable.

While i think it's a purge gameplay wise (for 3/4 of the game) you can't really call something garbage when it's obviously made with love, talent and effort.

It doesn't want to be a sniper elite "clone" and actually tries to be something else, which is admirable. The kill cams in sniper ghost warrior 2 is really well done though.

It's an okay part of the sniper series though I prefer SGW3 (minus the bug and performance issues).
I thought this game had a feature where you have other players coming into your map, to do the same target or something like that?
nah its an NPC called a rival sniper. And they dont even go after the main targets, just the bounties that can be found around the map. Ik thats what they advertised.
This franchise is like a Sharknado of video games...
At the start where he says "exhilarating explosions of gore", I mean, the gore could be a little more detailed. It just looks like the characters are pushed by a force into rag doll with a small cloud burst of blood. No damage visible on the models at all.

I bought the game because I've been a fan since the first and had to see what IGN had to say. I was honestly expecting something much worse. For me I really love these games but the brutally honest (correct) way of reviewing they do, I expected much worse.

Cynical Death Stranding isn’t a walking sim and it’s a much more we’ll made game than this. No hate towards this game but death stranding is an extremely fun game and a true masterpiece. You’d know that if you played it

How do the sniping mechanics and overall gameplay compare to ghost recon breakpoint? Personally, I've played over 60 hours of breakpoint and I love the game. I'm not defending Ubisoft, i'm not saying i love every game they make, but I'm looking for serious comparisons from others who have played lots of breakpoint too and have played a little of ghost warrior contracts. If you are here to give me a big, angry rant about how much you hate breakpoint then don't reply bc i will ignore you.

I just decided to stop playing this game on XBox One during the tutorial. I don't want to have to constantly keep punching down the LS just to keep the dot on target for half a second. The rapid scope drift is ridiculous and completely unrealistic. Stick this game in your ear.

Y'know, this looks like 'Contracts' might be the first _Sniper: Ghost Warrior_ game that *isn't* a tragic skin-crawlingly pathetic CoD wannabe.....
I'm actually a bit intrigued by this one, it's just a shame that there's hardly any content at launch, think I'll wait for a discounted GOTY with all the inevitable DLC included. :/
I just played this game. So difficult. Respawns so far back my accomplishment is all wasted. I always die even as a recruit its too difficult that life decreases w/even a few hits. Map is so difficult to read. Difficilt to cycle guns. And too many icons in the map its not practical anymore as a relaxing game after work. Feels like more stress than relaxation to play. I wont play this game again nor buy the sequel. Modern warefare is still the standard id buy any modern warfare series anytime.

I had played sniper ghost warrior 3 before playing this game, I was amazed to how much worse contracts was. In my opinion contracts was worse in every way. I had to check to see if ghost warrior 3 actually came out before this game as I was surprised how a game could be this badly made, it felt like I was playing a game that came out 10 years ago.
Playing SGW3 right now. Decent enough overall but ridiculously buggy.
Lining up shots can be tough is an understatement. I used to shoot a 7.62 mm and it was nothing like this. It's overly hard I didn't see that much movement through a 32 power scope.

OpTiOn SeVeN They can't even be compared to be honest, the gameplay for both games is different. You might have more fun with this game than DS though.
