The beginning of covid, my 50th birthday, and menopause all rocked my world four years ago. That is what lead me to you chris- asa former instructor and gym rat- having to work out at home was initially overwhelmingly sad to me. Then I found you. At the beginning- I was frustrated that my 50 year old self couldn’t keep up with the choreo as quickly as I had in my 20’s. But I persevered- and now- at 54- I LOVE LOVE LOVE saturday advanced choreo- and USUALLY can pick it up first try. Your saturday choreo and the NYT saturday crossword are my brain muscle workout. Congratulations, Chris for reaching 400 step videos! What an achievement! I did this video with a step in a hotel room in Alma, Michigan. I chose this room (and paid more for it) since it was larger and had a space for the step. I confess to doing the left floor kick in the (adjacent) bathroom. But it worked, I loved it and am appropriately sweating. You rock, Chris. We love you!

I had a freak stupid run in with the bottom of a door and ripped my entire big toe nail off last weekend 😭 so I had to stay out of shoes for a few days and I hated missing your classes so much 😭 This step class was amazing!! Super high energy and a real brain challenge, but I’m telling anyone out there who is afraid to try advanced step, just give it a go!! Don’t overthink it and let your feet just go and it is SO MUCH FUN! Thanks for being you, Chris!!❤❤❤

This workout was challenging and super fun! I was seriously exhausted by the end. I don’t know you were able to call all of that! The lunge around the world and kick straddle was definitely a good mental break through it all!

I love the way you took familiar moves and reformulated them. When you put the separate segments together, they flowed seamlessly. Step Beethoven, you are. As usual I paused and rewound a couple of times. So I'm amazed at your live guests picking it up on the fly, with no do overs! Honestly, what makes this one advanced I think is the 60 minute length. You got me out of the habit of working out for an hour!
