    It looks amazing on your ALR screen. What would the viewing experience be on a regular white screen?
    Thanks for doing the great demo!

      Thank you! It still performs great on a white screen tbh. At night time, you may not notice a big difference between a white and ALR Screen, but more so during daylight. Hope that helps!

    great review. Thank you. Is your Vividstorm ALR screen for ultra-short throw projectors? I'm suprised it works this well with a long throw.
    would this only work by placing your projector low on a coffee table (not ceiling mounted or on a high shelf for example)?

    • @TrendingReviews
      @TrendingReviews  Год назад

      Thank you - I think my ALR screen is also made for Long Throw too, so it should work well from all types of projectors, including putting it down low because it was made for low angle throw projections originally, so it should work well for your use-case!

    That ALR screen should improve the black level!!! Can you please compare the black level when projected to a white screen or wall with all lights off! I own this projector and I'm projecting it to a Stewart Studiotek 130 white screen.

    If I am correct,you use a UST alr screen from Vividstorm but isn't that the wrong screen for this xgimi ?????

    I wish these “RUclipsrs” would be more transparent and tell the viewers how hot the air that this projector throws from the back is. It’s so freaking hot. Also, the contrast is sooo bad and the remote control input lag is horrible! TRUST ME! I bought this projector MYSELF, it wasn’t given to me by XGIMI like all these RUclipsrs. I put it up against my Hisense C1 and my Hisense C1 blew this projector out of the water! I really wanted to like the XGIMI more than the HC1 since it comes with built in Android TV 11 but the inconsistencies of this projector made me return it back and keep the HC1.

      These are just paid for adverts for Xgimi who send out a free projector to the RUclipsrs.

      Good to know. I’ve been leaning more towards the HC1 myself.

    Hi,that is an impressive projector I feel the screen does help with the picture,especially in the light environment . quite like the Hiden lens behind the screen till it requires a nice touch! Sadly a bit out of my budget at the moment lol.
    Quick question if I may, I just ordered the yaber k2s
    Do you think a gray screen is a good idea as it's only 800 ans ?
    P.s another good review 👍

      Picture will BE to DARK !! You need More than 2000 Ansi Lumen For a Grey Screen. My recommendation. Greetings.

      Hi there! Thanks for your feedback. The screen definitely makes a lot of difference, and if you can get your hands on an ALR Screen, then any projector should technically perform much better, especially in day time conditions. This includes Yaber K2S too !

      I use a grey screen and it looks great. Still have to turn down the brightness. I watch it with all lights on and sunlight coming in. No problem. I would not suggest white.

    What ansi lumens is it? I dont understand what ISO lumens is.

    • @Jphil987
      @Jphil987 Год назад +1

      1 ANSI lumen is = 0.8 ISO Lumen so in this case 2300 ISO lumens should be about 2800 ANSI.... This projector is nowhere near that number. Other reviewers have actually tested it and have it rated at around 1800 ANSI. For it's current price point, there are other better options.

      @@Jphil987 Thank you for. What would be your choice as the 'better option' at around the same price point?

    • @Jphil987
      @Jphil987 Год назад

      @@chucknorris8704 just really depends on what you're use case is. You can pick up the previous Horizon Pro 4k model which offers a very similar picture for around $1200 maybe even a bit lower if you can find a sale. If you're looking for something you can watch with some lights on I'd suggest a laser light source. I'd recommend you look into; Dangbei Mars Pro, Nebula Cosmos Laser 4k, Formovie X5 and Hisense C1. These are all awesome laser beamers with great picture quality.

      I own this and it's bright! I'm surprised how much brighter this 2300 lumen rated projector is compared to my previous projector, the Epson 5050ub which is rated 2600 lumens. It's super sharp too!

    You haven’t said it can’t be too far or too close to the projector. Has poor zoom, poor performance over time and lifespan- just read the specs!
