If you are not going to move projector you can "solve" the light leak by putting blak paper In front of the lens. It does look ugly and you have to be careful when the door closes, but it works :)
When you say black paper over the lens, do you mean cover it entirely, or like crop out the light leak by enclosing the paper around the lens until it covers it?
Thanks for the review. One question (sorry I don't know the technical lingo). I can locate it dead center on the wall to be projected on, but it will most likely be on a shelf, ~ 7 ft off the ground. Is there a way to vertically shift the picture (as it looks like the projector shoot the picture up 30-40 degrees up from the projector. Or am I stuck turning it upside down (worried that might project it too far down on the floor. Ultimately, I can't find anything about how to adjust vertically. any input, much appreciated.
So you want your image to appear lower or higher? Lower than put something on the back legs of the projector to angle it down and auto keystone so it corrects the image, do the same with the front legs of the projector and repeat if you want it higher if that makes sense?
Appreciate it, not technically a sponsored review but they did provide the product sample. Our reviews are our own opinion but could confirm we still use this projector!
Do you think this could be a nice upgrade for my Epson 3800 proyector that I have with a 125" screen on a dark room, I've been looking for a long throw proyector with Dolby Vision since I'm a huge fan of this technology?
I would say Definitely! Its even comparable to the Epson 4010 and probably even the 5040 which is some of our daily driving projectors, the color accuracy across the board is on the higher end and Dolby Vision improves things in a nice way! Goes up to 200" as well!
Being we've reviewed the 5050UB before it stacks up and competes pretty highly. One example is the Horizon Ultra beats it on placement, form factor and even brightness. 5050UB's 4k e-shift works wonders in our opinion and has a more natural color wheel. We're looking to do a more prominent head to head so stay tuned!
That's a good question, we haven't tested the BenQ x3000i but we're putting it on our list! At first glance it does more than 60hz when dropped to 1080p and bringing the latency down under 10mms! Which but it's 4k 60hz is higher than the Horizon Ultra's at the same. I'm also curious on its 2D Keystone how it fairs with the over bloom of light. If enough people want us to review that and or do a straight comparison let us know! We'll make it happen
RUclips xgimi rs pro 3, it's the exact same projector but the Chinese version. There are a number of comparison videos but they're all in chinese. The n1 ultra is noticeably brighter in the side by side comparisons and one guys tests the lumens output and the n1 ultra came out on top in that department
The Over bloom of light it has? No it won't solve it but the more you have it aligned to the center the better it helps the situation so a black border screen would help about 10-20% in the matter
Thank you! Will be updating what that looks like soon. Here’s one of our setups we had which we’ll be putting it on soon as well! ruclips.net/video/M7yb5fVKCVs/видео.htmlsi=f9byuVsawM2Oly8A

Just set this is what's with the massive light box that shines all around the actual picture?
Really driving me nuts

Good review... I never feel that I can trust sponsorship reviews all that much.

How does the XGIMI Horizon Ultra look compared to the Epson 5050ub Projector ?

I wish companies like this that had automatic screen sizing and focusing had lens memory built-in also.
That would be a nice difference. It auto keystones if moved far enough but that could also be adjusted.
It does
Hang on…I just ordered mine, you telling me when I power down and turn back on it won’t remember my settings???
@@HankeyElfordArgent what kind of settings are we talking? it remembers your settings for sure, it won't remember your last input however
@@LVLONENEWS Okay cool, as long as it remembers your projection sizing and Bluetooth speakers so I am not having to reset everytine
How does it compare to the Benq x3000i? Which one will u choose for movies and gaming?

Is notice projector light leakage ? Like in xgimi horizont pro ?
The light plane created when the projector is at an angel. Its less noticeable the more straight on the projector is
Have your used this in conjunction with an apply 4K tv?
We've used the Apple TV app that's on the Google Play Store and the Apple TV on the Xbox Series X, both have Dolby Vision in 4k which look great!
Great review. I agreed with everything you said about it.
Appreciate that!
I would like to see you do a head to head with the JMGO N1 Ultra 4K. I'm interested in which does better in ambient light and brightness comparison.
This is a great idea, we'll be looking into this! Thanks and hope you subbed for more to come!

could we solve this problem with a screen with a black border around it?

@@LVLONENEWSthank you...but the light on your angle on the right over your screen couldn't be solve with a dark cloth over that light?
@@matteorac Possibly, A black wall with a frame that's white is possibly the best case scenario here if not it would take a big black cloth?
Great video. Would be interesting to se the setup u choose at home and how it lokks like with all furniture's and so on.

@@LVLONENEWS Thanks.
This projector looks very nice.
Def much better than I thought but will be doing more testing overtime!
