Man. As someone who has only played TW2, I've got a serious question for you: why does this look so good?? Of course, first of all, your editing is great. But the units mass, the interaction between models and the animations in 1vs1 fighting make it look so much more realistic than the newer games. What happened to the engine?

One thing I noticed is that the elf army had reserves to charge wherever the battle was difficult. Very noble and a good strategy,
Orcs also didn't shoot a single arrow. And like to charge uphill. And throw small units without spears in front of cavalry. I'd say the battle was a bit stacked and decisions made to ensure the noldor win
@@Puschit1 In miniature games we like to do something similar. If you kill the leaders, orcs and trolls just charge to the nearest enemy and evil humans just care for their own, but all elves, dwarves, humans and even hobbits of the lowest rank have strategy (maybe ents don't but.... they're ents!) The problem is, sometimes the leader is wraith on a fellbeast and.... not fun. Even players and people watching the game shout "Nazgul!" when the damn thing flies toward you.

Losing half of their armies won't affect Sauron's forces. You know, orc lives don't matter and they will come back to strike with more orcs ever than before. So, High Elves won the day. However they will eventually lose without humans' and dwarves' help. Great video by the way, I appriciate your work.

Silmarillion shows pretty well than no orc army can beat the Noldor. Thats why the dark lord needed to create new creatures to overcome them (dragons, trolls, werewolfs). So no, elves will prevail if they are only fighting orcs

Yea, it's more realistic if anything. Not like in the Pete Jackson films where Sauron is some God and everyone just stands around him as he hams on them like they're ragdolls. I find it hard to believe that's what Tolkien imagined, personally

whoa, I didn't expect Noldor to be so strong. They had a much smaller number and still won the army led by Sauron
Those Noldor can kill Balrog and Dragon. Thranduil once fought with the Dragon.
@@m5a1stuart83 I think only the generals of the noldor can fight the balrog or the dragon and the normal warriors are only stronger than Numenor but this army of orcs is led by Sauron (the strongest maiar).
@@manbat4675 is he the strongest of the Maiar? Also, any of the Noldor who lived in the Years of the Trees are mad-strong(becuz of the light of the Two Trees)
@@m5a1stuart83 Thranduil wasn't a Noldo, but one of the Sindar. And the dragon thing was only in the movies.
Quality over Quantity, Orcs are always more numerous but they are only slaves with hate and low intelect

YES!!!!!!!!! Elves are my most favorite character in Lord of the Rings and the Hobbit series partly because they speak such a beautiful language haha another part is because they are amazing with their weapons.
All of these are such compelling watching, I keep saying ahh just one more.

Sauron is like "Hey give me some space. I want to land a blow in empty place".
Can you imagine the smell of a place like that two weeks after a pitched battle with tens of thousands of dead bodies? You could probably smell it down wind for a hundred miles. You probably couldn't march a army of reinforcements through it without them losing their breakfasts or the sight of it frightening them into desertion. The flies would be as thick as clouds and the dead would still move with the feasting of all of the maggots.
Mmmmm...who's hungry? But, you are correct, and that is what most movies get wrong. The after-battle writhing of the injured, the flies, and the next-day maggot infestation. Likely a lot of bloated bodies and rats/mice/birds feasting.

Ukrainians vs orks. Elves got especial helmets, just like famous Ukrainian men's hairdo. Hollywood knows everything cabal is gonna do.

Elrond: then it is an even fight.
Elros? Elros was elronds brother.
Elronds son are Elladan and Elrohir and are born in the 3rd age. After saurons defeat to Elendil and gil-galad

Helps that Sauron has like 0 attack speed and takes 2 mins to take out 1 guy.

To imagine Noldor/Sindar armies in the first age were 10x or 20x this is insane…
I expected to see some superior Noldor fighting abilities. Instead, they're just poking with their spears.
Computers can barely handle this engine, you really expected choreographed fighting? 😅

Warhammer total war 2 has slightly better animations and with 3 coming out on the 17th hopefully someone can make a proper lotr mod with animations that aren't stiff as this
There is so much material that Peter Jackson can make some many movies about Middle Earth. I wish they would make about the Origins.

In Fantasy, Elf is good at handling bows in common.
The scene of shooting the Elf's armor or bow in the video is really spectacular!
Ocs wears light armor because of Mongolia's motif, but it uses its advantage,
the Palangx formation, which is difficult for enemies to attack.
But Saurons came out for about 10 seconds. Ha ha!

There were a lot more than 15,000 orcs in the opening battle of Lord of Rings. Orcs were charging like water river flowing through breached embankment.
But you will reach the limit of
a. Battle size (4 armys max in Total war Attila which is up to 16-24 thousand soldiers in total) and
b. The number of entities your PC can handle.
all those people in one area it would sure be akward if something were to happen to them, tactical incoming well I spoke to soon bye army, and by Sauron, looks like your going back to being an eye again.
