Kellys behind the scene “disclosure” is true for sure! Lots of uke playing and giggles coming from the studio! So fun…

Good one, Kelly. I enjoyed your colorful description of unstable 7th chords. Far more fun than music theory. A really big thanks for this fun song.

Thanks Mike! I try to avoid too much theory when I can and go for a bit more of a "feel thing" whenever possible. It's not fancy but hopefully it gets the point across! Glad you're enjoying things!!

WOW, I never knew you could slow these videos down in the settings. Thank you!
You learn something new every day. Going to give that a try at practice time tonight.

I am a ukulele player. I just bought a mandolin, trying to learn that now. Maybe one day I will get into banjolele.

Hey Kelly. I’m really loving all those nice Ohana s behind you. And this Ohana tenor banjoele is the best one I have heard of the banjoeles ! I hadn’t heard the Ohana one before. I used to play a little banjo but switched over to the ukulele. Great video !!!

Hey Bonnie! Thanks - yeah I just got it and I really like it! I like the fact that it's a tenor. The Ohana's are such a great line of ukes. Fit and finish is flawless! Glad you enjoyed the video!! Kelly

I agree. You can’t go wrong with an Ohana. Best ukulele for the money for sure !! I like that this one is tenor and closed back. Nicer sound to me than the. Open backs.

@@bonniedavidson936 this one has great volume. I'll have to do a review on it and point out all the key features. At some point I'll get an open back as well and then we can compare them to see the difference. I think they're both the same price so it's good to have the choice.

Great song Kelly! The 7 chords are my favourite- does that mean I’m off balanced? 🤔🤣

Kelly, Kudos to you. That was something special to listen to. Aspiration to be able to tackle it one day here. ;-) My coordination is a fraction of yours. :-) You break it down so easy to follow. I just lack the talent at the present time, but maybe one day. Oh well back to practice here on the Ohana Concert. 🪕

Thanks Therese! Stay tuned - I'm working on a step by step series with some exercises to help people along with this style of playing. My idea is to take this video and split the content down into about 5 sequential videos to be done over a number of weeks - with time to work on practice techniques etc in between. I'm happy you're enjoying them and your Ohana - I love mine too!! Kelly
