I love how Vitalis can make these very basic old game soundtrack songs into these huge world music epics, with instrumentation from at least five or six different cultures standing out, and it sounds perfect. He was definitely the right guy to capture the Age of Empires spirit.
I always loved this sound track. It's the last track played in expansions and usually in a post imp war (especially as celts) it was super awesome. This rearrangement is amazing too! Gave me good memories. This and tazer win it for me. ❤
I hope that track give u the energy for the next imp battle :D

OMFG The memories....i have always relationated this track with the Celts, this version is giving me flashbacks from when I first played AoE II, the William Wallace Campaign....the Nostalgia...it hurts

This was my favorite part of the soundtrack for the Conquerors expansion and this makes it so much better

I really love the work of Todd Masten (specially with AoE 1 DE), but... Vitalis tracks have more inspiration, are more passionate and feel more powerful. Maybe we will see a mod that changes Definitive Edition soundrack with those tracks :)

This version of the song combined with the wallpaper reminds me of the Genghiz Khan campaign whereas you are basically fighting almost every civ in the game.
I hear this every single day. I love the flow mixed with legendary rithm and fabulous flute flow..

Its absolutely fantastic! loved it as always!!! this song has been one of my favourite OST and this remaster may not be the exact same soundtrack, but it still gives me that aoe2 feeling and the nostalgia! It is surely an upgrade to the original!

@@VitalisEirich DE edition. I am trying to give myself access to gunpowder units in one of the campaigns (India). Managed to do that only if I test the scenario but not if I save it and open the custom campaign. Could be because there are different versions for each difficulty. I'll probably should just post it on the forums like you suggested since its quite awkward to explain things in a yt comment.

it sounds rly like the unit creation :D ... but its not that ;). This time its not easy. I cutted a little bit and modified it with reverb
@@VitalisEirich I just listened to it again.. maybe it's 1:20? Sounds like the Farm Exhausted one (I'll guess that 's a sound we'll all hate :D)

Hello likku, yes ofc. Thats a personal goal of mine to remaster all AoE tracks. Its an incredible amount of work. I hope for a Kickstarter project to record that with professional guest musicians and some live orchestra parts. Maybe one day we can realize that dream 😯
