Literally I can't find an extended teutons theme. It's all just the regular1 minute theme for 10 hours, which geets tiresome quickly, as good as the teutons theme is
I think it is the looping that makes it sound ‘modern’ it sounds a lot like Lo-fi because of the repetitive jingles from looping.The music starts with Mediterranean Portuguese music, then goes to Christian influence, followed by the drums which I think is a reference to the Portuguese empire in North Africa and North African Middle East culture and so up to the Middle East/Arabia. Then we hear a more modern heroic like music which I think refers to Portuguese exploration. And all this while keeping the Mediterranean essence.
I don't know about definitive edition, but in AOE2 HD or OG conquerors could be done, just navigate through data folder, then audio, you would 2 files: music and music1 replace them with any song of your choice with the filename as either music1 or music of either .mp3 or .ogg as extension. I downloaded Tazer soundtrack and renamed it " music1 " that way I can only listen to my favourite soundtrack all the time in game and not wait for every 30 minutes for it to replay.

But, to be honest, personaly I am a little bit disappointed(very tiny), the reason is I feel like the extra material, or added components quite took away the highlight of original melody. Those adding were perfect, truly, but maybe there is some kind of "covered origin" issue that we might facing.
For example, Lithuanian one seens more obvious than Portuguese for me, but still very good. And I'm not saying extend ver. should be like loop, the previous Burgundian just right on the point, no saturate too many and not bored like loop, pretty clean.
Love the subtle vibe-switch at 1:20 the part after that reminds me a lot of the old Settler IV-soundtrack with the flowing music and the quiet bass/snare-rhythm. Very well done!
I can see the caravels disappearing in the horizon and then reaching the new world as this song progresses… Beautiful song, worthy tribute to some of my ancestors and the founders of my country.
