I watched Interstellar many years ago. Recently, I came across a picture from the movie, and today, I decided to watch it again. As the film ended, I felt an overwhelming sense of reflection, especially with the music still echoing in my mind. I walked to the window, looked around, and quietly pondered. I felt grateful and looked back at myself, regretting the things I've missed and the things I haven't accomplished. If anyone else feels even a bit like I do, I hope we keep moving forward and always appreciate everything we have.
I know exactly what you mean and how you feel. And I am there with you and I did that pondering decades ago. You will keep moving forward, trust me. There will always be regrets, but don't let the "what ifs" determine your outlook on life. I wish you all the best.
Are you really sure, that'll work? I mean you would have to think about all of this movie and your emotions,... connected to it... Don't get me wrong, there are so many films/books and stories I would love to re-experience but... And even if it works, imagine your friend comes to you, begging you to watch this "Interstellar" and you just refuse, arguing you don't want to watch another disappointing SC-FI movie...
My father haven't watched interstellar. But when he heard this soundtrack he said that he felt like travelling through space. HANS ZIMMER such a legend❤🔥

What did you see? Darkness? Chaotic dreams? Nightmares? I was laying in a hospital bed back in 2011, hours away from dying from internal bleeding, fading in and out of consciousness. All I saw was darkness, chaotic dreams, or what felt like hallucinations. but I also felt absolute relief in the times it was absolutely dark and silent. It was soothing.

Hans Zimmer is a living legend man, how can one produce this kind of melody. It touches deep into your soul and it makes you feel emotions that you really can't feel anyway else.
I don't believe Hanz Zimmer is a man at all.. He is something more.. He has experienced things outside what we are able to understand for him to be able to compose such masterpieces..
I cant believe this movie did not win an oscar for music/soundtrack. I mean lets be real if you have Hans Zimmer as your music man in film you should already have one oscar...
This should win an Oscar and also the best ever amongst all Oscar Winners. That is why the world hates Politics and Americans stick to liking Americans. They have 0 knowledge of the world around them and it's many wonders.
Just like Christopher Nolan says, you don't need to understand the movie, just feel it. And no other music can evoke that emotion and feeling like this one. A true masterpiece out of this world! Truly honored to be living in a world where legends like Christopher Nolan and Hans Zimmer exist.
It's even more awsome when you know that Zimmer didn't knew the script of the movie. All that he has been told was to produce a song about fatherhood, fragilitiy, love. And here is this masterpiece.
@@tonydominoactor according to Zimmer, instead of letting him read the script, Nolan agreed to write “one page of text” for him when he signed on to score the drama last January. Unfortunately, the director didn’t reveal anything variety.com/2014/film/news/christopher-nolan-kept-interstellar-plot-secret-from-composer-hans-zimmer-1201153171/
Before starting production on this movie Christopher Nolan visited Hans Zimmer at his home. He told Hans he had an idea for his next movie but wanted to hear the score first. Nolan told Zimmer to write a song about a boy and his father playing catch. Each time the boy catches the ball he grows another year older, but the father doesnt notice until his son is fully grown. This is the song Zimmer wrote. A fuckin masterpiece.

“Because my Dad promised me.” I watch this movie with my 10-year-old son often. That line moves me to tears every single time. It reminds me not to take lightly the things I say to him.
i am not a father, but mate, this sentence from Murph always touches me deeply. I know why. Cause i had a dad, that made promises. Bless your family and all you love.
It’s truly amazing how people are separated through different languages, races, cultures, religion and even different personal beliefs, but the only thing that connects people together is music.
Erin L and Nolan is such a perfectionist, did u notice when cooper was not able to breathe on Dr. Mann's planet and was trying to reach for the transmitter, at that same moment,Murph decided to go back to her room to find an answer. U see, both the events where necessary for human future and both where free will, and took place at the same moment. this is breathtaking. So,t contradicts free choice which gives way to fate which is totally non-science .
When I first watched this movie, I didn't have any kids. Years later I have a daughter. Shes now 4 years old. I recently watched this movie again. What an amazing difference watching this again now that I'm a father to a beautiful daughter. I've never had so many tears fall from my eyes from a movie.

Yesterday, I went to the cinema with a group of friends. We watched Interstellar for the first time, after 10 years of its release. We were all mesmerised by this movie... the second we finished it, we all had our mouths open. We went back home when it was already midnight, we were welcomed by a night full of stars and a bright moon. Beneath the starry sky, all we could think about was how vast and terrifying our universe is... yet so beautiful. We drove back home and all the roads were empty. This was our 12th of November 2024.
This was by far the greatest movie I have ever seen and possibly will ever see. I've never had a movie make me think for hours after it about the possibilities of it being something real. My wife even felt this was the greatest movie as well!
I saw today Roger Sayer (organist of the original music score of Interstellar) and it was breathtaking. I didn’t know most of this soundtrack is organ, and it’s Roger playing. Insane. It was beautiful. So blessed to listen to this live from the master who recorded this in the first place 🥹
Nobody yes, one of the best acting iv ever seen especialy tht scene on the spaceship looking atvideos of his daughter and son over the years, that was crazy.
This Soundtrack makes me want to cry. Not just because of its haunting beauty, but because it really takes me somewhere else. Out there. Beyond the dark sky and the stars. It's miraculous.
Same !! Whenever I listen to this song I get so emotional and I always feel a deep pull or connection with my soul and the universe. I guess it's the deep grasp of beautiful reality. 💯
This music gets me every time. Not only for the epic almost spiritual feel of the music, but also because this was the last film I watched in a theater with my dad before he passed away.
My dad and I see a movie almost every Sunday since I was a child. He’s getting up in age, and I sometimes wonder how many more we will get to see together. I save the ticket stubs in an album.
I never cry, ever. I am a man who normally hides inside and never expresses any negative emotion... save maybe anger. But this movie, this movie brought out my innermost demons and angels. It forced me to see the bigger picture and realize just how small of an existence we really are in the vastness of space. This movie was perfection, and it made me feel the innermost parts of my heart and soul. Space is both beautiful and scary... and I hope to one day reach into it and see all I can before I am gone from it.
I suppose you are only gone from the experiential aspect of what you consider to be now but it seems to me you can never leave that from where you originated.
I was absolutely petrified when I watched this movie. It brought so many very deep thoughts in my head. About life, about love, about time and space, about wormholes and exoplanets, about undiscovered dimensions, about what we are in Universe... Amazing movie.
***** absolutely. Compared to scale of Universe, we are but grain of sand compared to Earth, or not, maybe just molecule, atom. We're so tiny. So... insignificant.
In my 40 years this was the only movie which I had to see twice at the same day. After the movie I went out of the cinema walked 1 minute, turned around and saw it a second time. No other film gave me this feeling before.
Yes to me its a feeling of hope, beautiful unknown, not understandable things in a world of idiotic money dominance. I kept a inner part of this movie for myself - such a powerful Message
The fact that hanz Zimmer created a theme that describes this whole masterpiece of a movie in the most perfect way still blows my mind, it's almost unbelievable.
The father and daughter bonding and their seperation for an age, experience of falling in a tesseract, touching the 4th dimension (time) and rehabilitation to the Saturn were few of the best phenomena of the interstellar.
Best movie ever made!!!! everything about the movie is amazing. it has a normal part, like the beginning. it has the scenes with the planets, it has the magical things like the ghost part and the endless bookshelves and it has amazing music. Its just a beautiful movie!
“Remember to look up at the stars and not down at your feet. Try to make sense of what you see and wonder about what makes the Universe exist. Be curious. I listen to this every night before bed. This masterpiece truly gets my mind off everything and allows me to think about the world and what it has to offer. Maybe even what's beyond this world and life.
Maybe it Sounds weird, but i feel Same way. Just in different ways, that i am afraid of how deep this Song can Go throw my Heart und mind. Most of the time im Just cant think that deep cause its Just too exhausting. I would never do this every night. I would Just Not be able to do my every single day Work/to dos. Sry for Bad English. My father died when I was 16, the part where Cooper sees Murph all grown up and how time passed before his eyes always gets to me. I'm now 25, I've experienced alot of things without my dad, good and bad, he didnt get to see them. Yet I still hope to see him again one day but time keeps passing I keep getting older. It pains me so much, I wish he could see me, I wish he was here. But I guess time just continues without him. This song, that movie expresses how I feel.

i saw interstellar as a freshman in highschool. we watched it in my biology class and although everyone was just goofing around, and it was a sci-fi, the pure imagination of cosmic science and mathematics made me feel so interested and sucked into loving these subjects. i spent much of my highschool years skateboarding and working on cars, afraid to just nerd out on things like math, science, space, physics, etc. but here I am now, a college freshman in the school of engineering studying mechanical engineering, and again, although its a sci fi movie, the thought of human advancement in technology and mechanics and space all have a huge place in my heart. not sure who's going to see this, or care, but just thought i'd share for my fellow "nerds" on this one.
I'm a nerd too! I love watching Nova, Nature, and the science shows on PBS. Star Trek is one of my favorite franchises (sorry Star Wars) because of the hope it gives me for the future of humanity and science.
The sad thing is majority of people on this planet dont care about of science or anything. Im just fascinated by science , nature and how far humans have evolved technological ly.. But yet 90% of people still believe in religion. I used to think my purpose for life is to do things what my religion said..but after learning about science , astronomy , evolution and so many other fascinating topics i decided to be an atheist.. Now the purpose of my life is to make a contribution in science field so that i can be a part of advancement in human species .
This movie made me appreciate life and the possibilities of how far we can expand. I'm stupid when it comes to school but watching this in physics class made me geek out. Your comment is relatable

I was 10 when I watched this movie, this movie made me study, it made me want to work in the field of AI. I've done so much in these years, I lost my friends, family members, I was about to get diagnosed with 2nd stage lung cancer, I studied a lot and after all these years, after all the things I've done and have been through, only 1 hour has passed on Miller's planet. Wow.
@@tiscojack a 10 year old can easily understand the purpose of studying. I, as someone who grew up in an extremely tech-based country (Canada) really became interested in IT and Programming when I watched this flick. Not to mention the fact that since I have asthma, and cancer can happen to anyone, I was in danger of being diagnosed with 2nd stage lung cancer. One of my cousins passed away in an accident in 2019, it's life. These things happen sometimes. Sometimes, a 10 year old might've went through a lot more than a 25 year old.

“There is a fundamental reason why we look at the sky with wonder and longing-for the same reason that we stand, hour after hour, gazing at the distant swell of the open ocean. There is something like an ancient wisdom, encoded and tucked away in our DNA, that knows its point of origin as surely as a salmon knows its creek. Intellectually, we may not want to return there, but the genes know, and long for their origins-their home in the salty depths. But if the seas are our immediate source, the penultimate source is certainly the heavens… The spectacular truth is-and this is something that your DNA has known all along-the very atoms of your body-the iron, calcium, phosphorus, carbon, nitrogen, oxygen, and on and on-were initially forged in long-dead stars. This is why, when you stand outside under a moonless, country sky, you feel some ineffable tugging at your innards. We are star stuff. Keep looking up.”
Movie makes me a grown ass man sob. I will do anything for my children till my last breath and it terrifies me to not be there for them and be on the outside of the bookshelf pounding and watching them anguish without my guidance and love.
I had never watched this movie until one night two months ago. I sat down in my living room with my husband and we saw that it was free on one of our channels. We went into it expecting a bombastic action space movie. I'm glad that isn't what we got.
So much left undiscovered beyond the void that surrounds our system, always makes me sad knowing I won't live around long enough to even get a glimpse of what lies so far away.
+ibr gue I have the same thoughts. This is the only thing that is bothering me regarding death. Not all the factors of the people you will leave and the things you will miss but this exactly. Not knowing what is out there in the void and far beyond our galaxy and the other thousand and millions of star galaxies.
this movie should be rereleased in theaters every month, so everyone gets a chance to see it on a huge screen with even bigger speakers i wish i could see it like this again
Man oh man you hit the nail perfectly. This movie just puts me in a mood no other movie ever has. The feelings you experience is just out of this world. The music really does a good job of sucking you in. When they're chasing the drone through the corn field. Thats my favorite part. The music/chase/mystery is just amazing. 10/10 for this movie. Could watch it a 100 times. Only thing that stops me from watching it so much is it's super sad. The story and the idea of the human race leaving our home is just heartbreaking.
Everytime I listen to this I can't resist to drop a tear. I still have in my memories the moment when my uncle told me about this movie, and describing it as the masterpiece that is. He always loved science and technology stuff, and was the one who really got me intersted in sci-fi and space stuff. Today, it's been one year since I lost him due to a tumour, and I can't think of this movie without seeing his face of joy and interest talking about it. I'm sure he's resting in peace somewhere out there in the space.
Everytime I hear it, I close my eyes and pray that one day I may see space. That one day I can have this song playing in my head, or by humming it, as I break through the atmosphere and finally get to look down upon that little blue dot we call home for myself. Makes me cry. I hope one day.
you are too strong... personally I have not been able to move forward since, and... when I hear these musical marvels, unfortunately I have too much trouble due to my sensitivity... A word to the wise and good luck
My uncle's passions were the same. He too passed away recently. He never got married and didn't have children of his own...I was all he had, I was more than a son to him, I was his entire world....
This movie was quite the experience for me. I was on a night flight from Brazil to Florida, its the first time i ever flew, and every once in a while i would look down the window and see all the lights and the horizon and this soundtrack started playing. Everyone in the plane was sleeping and i was crying silently, realizing how small we are and how much we have to learn. Thats not the only thing, my girlfriend was an exchange studdent and she would leave 2 weeks after i came back to Brazil, and i missed her so much, i felt so lonely up there. It was trully a mind bending experience.
Matheus leão Your comment just made my day. I watched this film last night and I couldn't help but cry feeling enormously overwhelmed. When I finished watching it, I just had to go outside, lay on the grass and gaze up at the vastness above me. Staggering.

I felt grateful and looked back at myself, regretting the things I've missed and the things I haven't accomplished. If anyone else feels even a bit like I do, I hope we keep moving forward and always appreciate everything we have.
❤❤❤🎉
I know exactly what you mean and how you feel. And I am there with you and I did that pondering decades ago. You will keep moving forward, trust me. There will always be regrets, but don't let the "what ifs" determine your outlook on life. I wish you all the best.
I wish I could erase my memory of watching this movie, and watch it all again.

This was our 12th of November 2024.

i saw interstellar as a freshman in highschool. we watched it in my biology class and although everyone was just goofing around, and it was a sci-fi, the pure imagination of cosmic science and mathematics made me feel so interested and sucked into loving these subjects. i spent much of my highschool years skateboarding and working on cars, afraid to just nerd out on things like math, science, space, physics, etc. but here I am now, a college freshman in the school of engineering studying mechanical engineering, and again, although its a sci fi movie, the thought of human advancement in technology and mechanics and space all have a huge place in my heart. not sure who's going to see this, or care, but just thought i'd share for my fellow "nerds" on this one.

Neil DeGrasse Tyson, so beautiful.
That is the question I always ask myself, why do we look, at least I, to heaven with so much longing, i really do not known
God damn I got chills!
That was stunning P4. Thank you. Stephen Atkinson.
Nailed it
Movie makes me a grown ass man sob. I will do anything for my children till my last breath and it terrifies me to not be there for them and be on the outside of the bookshelf pounding and watching them anguish without my guidance and love.
It's 2 am, and I am listening to this masterpiece. It's raining in the background. Goosebumps are all over my body.
This is PERFECT!

It took this theme 58 minutes and 6 seconds on Miller's planet to reach 100 million views
Whoah, that’s crazy. Thanks for the cool fact.
Haha nice
BRO I was thinking of the same thing and wanted to put it in the comments hahaha. I saw it’d been released almost 7 yeard ago

“Don’t let me leave, Murr..”
One of the hardest hitting lines in all of cinema to me.
Saddest moment in impractical jokers

The fact its actually the last time he saw her the way to her death is sad😢
I had never watched this movie until one night two months ago. I sat down in my living room with my husband and we saw that it was free on one of our channels. We went into it expecting a bombastic action space movie.
I'm glad that isn't what we got.
So much left undiscovered beyond the void that surrounds our system, always makes me sad knowing I won't live around long enough to even get a glimpse of what lies so far away.
+ibr gue
I would offer the rest of my lifetime for a single moment of crystal clear omniscience.
True
+ibr gue I have the same thoughts. This is the only thing that is bothering me regarding death. Not all the factors of the people you will leave and the things you will miss but this exactly. Not knowing what is out there in the void and far beyond our galaxy and the other thousand and millions of star galaxies.
Sometimes you wish that you were borned another time in the future
+ibr gue why not look at death as an opportunity for your matter to rejoin the universe. who is to say that it won't become apparent then?
this movie should be rereleased in theaters every month, so everyone gets a chance to see it on a huge screen with even bigger speakers
i wish i could see it like this again
sagginsky. Yes. I saw this in cinemas, and just wow.
I wish I got to watch it on the big screen 😭😭
Make enough money and you can build your own cinema room in or on your house with the proper equipment
domanick harper buy a small projector and put it on a table facing up at a wall and watch it sitting on a comfortable sofa
I wish i could watch this movie in cinema :( instead first time when i watch that was in the train with ex-girlfriend.

This movie can give you a certain feeling that no other film can give, if you watched it you know what I mean

Just in time for a world-paralyzing pandemia
Man oh man you hit the nail perfectly.
This movie just puts me in a mood no other movie ever has. The feelings you experience is just out of this world. The music really does a good job of sucking you in. When they're chasing the drone through the corn field. Thats my favorite part. The music/chase/mystery is just amazing.
10/10 for this movie. Could watch it a 100 times. Only thing that stops me from watching it so much is it's super sad. The story and the idea of the human race leaving our home is just heartbreaking.
👏👏👏👏

Минуло 10 лет с момента выхода фильма, а на планете Миллер прошёл всего 1 час 25 минут.
😢❤ hugs
I sob when I listen to this.
Staggering.
Matheus leão Eu me arrepiei ao ler esse comentário pois exatamente o mesmo aconteceu comigo. Vi o filme durante meu vôo de volta de Tampa, Flórida, após intercâmbio e deixei minha namorada lá, nos EUA... Fiquei realmente chocado.
