Hey Robert, when turbo shops that say I will machine the turbo balance it put a bigger compressor wheel, billet 11 blade 58mm. Is that what you just did minus the machining the and balancing. It gets a little confusing.
For our kit the 19T is larger than the standard 13G, 15G, 16T, and 18T turbos on the inducer while the exducer is standard 56mm which makes it bolt in. No need to machine anything :) Balancing is always a good idea anytime a turbocharger has been disassembled for rebuild.

Unfortunately it won't bolt on direct since the 2.5T came with a TD04L turbo rather than the more common TD04HL. So you can either source a used TD04HL to build from or machine the center housing of your TD04L to fit. Thanks!
Just tried to put this together today, and i'm having issues with the wheel not spinning freely after beeing tightened to 5nm. It spins fine before tightening. Any ideas?
Is your 14T a TD04HL or a TD04L? The HL is quite different than the L turbo so make sure you know which one your 14T is! If it is truly a TD04HL then you're good to go and our 19T conversion will work for you! Just remember you'll need a matching 19T compressor cover or machine your existing cover to match :)

Im asking as im looking for exactly t3-size exhaust inlet and the compressor outlet pointing exactly where it points on this one relative to the position of the exaust inlet, and also with straight exhaust outlet rhather than angled. On what model/make/year/engine-type car can it be found? And - is there a 16T version which is identcal to this?

Yes it does fit the 14T! As for torque wrench, it's a inch pound torque wrench 0-75 scale :)

but the 13C has the waste gate actuator on the bottom of the turbo and the 19T is on the top. the covers are different

Markuz Z Id make sure the correct backing plate is used (super back vs. flat back). That's my first guess :)

This turbo is a Volvo TD04HL-15G flat back style typically found on Volvo 850 models 1994-1997 :)

With brand new parts you don't have to balance but it's always a good idea if you can!
