MID Day Meal scheme is GOVT funded . but akshaya patra spend more money to make the meal extra special. usually govt gives 60-70% money but rest comes from them...........
This food is given to govt school kids as they r poor Govt started this initiative of feeding poor kids at school , which made wonders food actually brought kids to school as parents would want at least their kids to eat 1 meal really well And now akshaya Patra did the same around 20 years back
