A small fact: the owner of TATA group, Sir Ratan TATA was one of the most humblest human being with a great business sense. During his younger years, his father Sir JRD TATA asked Ratan sir to work on manufacturing plant floors to understand the scuffle of maintaing job floor. Through these many tests he learned to control multiple companies today. And yes he donates a hell lot of money keeping very little to himself. If just right now he stops that, he can easily displace the richest person in the world, simply because a 2 min fame on paper is much less valued than helping thousands of lives in and around world.

Well, the Tata family was close to the British Royal family but they were still resentful of the British because of the horrible things they've done to India.
Because of that, they started buying UK brands like Tetley, Jaguar land rover, British salt etc.
They're not hostile towards the British at all, neither are Indians. But every Indian has a chip on their shoulder left by the British empire that they will never forget.
Ironically, most Britishers are not told the truth. They're not taught the truth about the empire. Even in school. I know this because I've extensively read the books they teach with in London.
