I'm just getting back into the dating world, and I love dancing! Unfortunately, I never really learned how to dance too well with a partner, so this video definitely helped build up my confidence for tomorrow night at one of my favorite clubs. Thanks to the both of you!
this video has been on my watch later list for 6 months and i finally worked up the nerve to watch it today. one step closer to overcoming my fear of women.

Ballroom Feed Hello to you both. Your explenation-&-steps are very clear. I wish it can B that easy, cuz it looks that way....I do need to prictice -a-lot. However, I would like to thank you for share such a beauty with all of us!!
I like to dance, and I’m pretty good at it, but I have trouble dancing with my girl. This was very helpful and easy to follow. I definitely will share this video with her so we can practice together.
I am home sick with most likely COVID (been sick since Tuesday) so I could not test out the basics here clubbing tonight. Out of curiosity, I purchased the lesson package (didn’t work to use the discount code from Sweden, probably because of decimals here using comma rather than dot). I am honestly really impressed, they really put a lot of focus on how you would dance at clubs (house/pop in my case) when you are asking a stranger to dance with you. Will definitely practice and test it out in when I go clubbing in 2 weeks. No longer do I have no idea what to do after talking with a girl that I like, when I really want to dance with her. 🥂🕺🏻
Hi Sergio! Thanks so much for purchasing the course & for your feedback it means a lot!! We will look into this issue and see if we can fix it for our international subscribers Thank you & get well soon! 💃
I'm so appreciative of this. I've got homecoming, and I've never danced with anybody, especially since it's my first year to homecoming (I'm a freshman). Thank you, and I hope the person that I want to dance with will actually dance with me when I ask... 😣
@@BallroomFeed Unfortunately, she told me she had to leave when I asked her-and she really did have to leave. But, we have another dance in the year, which we just call Snowcoming, so hopefully we'll get the successful shot on that one!
Anything you would dance at to faster music! Could be a wedding reception, work party, family gathering or friends hanging out. But most upbeat popular music you could make this work to. It's suppose to be generic and one size fits all without having to learn a specific dance, which you could totally do.
This isn't a specific ballroom dance it's just an easy natural way to move to faster "party" music! If you are looking for more structure check out these dances here: www.ballroomfeed.com/club-getting-started
It seems it’s all there dancing the party dance a couple of turns swings and jiving nice! What about showing us a very a simple dance lift? Just maybe one hand high off the dance floor or maybe half the height off the dance floor, and showing to go around a circle ⭕️ once or twice with good secure footsteps, and gently place her on the dance floor finishing with a nice jive, can it be done sir?
As a guy my hair is short.... But... My beard is long. So i see she whacked his face with her hair... So my version is whack her face with my beard after i put it in plaits? Cool trick. Thx 👍😎
The kind of dancing you show at the end with the fun turns etc.. what kind of dance is that? In other words if we want to go take a specific dance class, would that be salsa? bachata? which type of dance is mostly closely like what you guys do at the end of the video?
Hi Nicole, we teach those things in our How to Dance at a Party Course here: www.ballroomfeed.com/howtodanceataparty If you're looking for in-person lessons I would recommend the hustle!
I want to practice dancing because I know little as far as dancing goes and my friend, that I hopefully can go to prom with, knows how to dance because she danced most of her life and I want to start practicing so I can be better and not embarrass myself in front of her. Any tips on how and what to practice?
Well you're in the right place! For practice, just learn the steps and practice those ono your own and if you have someone else you can practice with, that would be even better! Check out our slow dance tutorial ruclips.net/video/S1qp7r99DcE/видео.html
For guys, start off early with that older woman (about 60) that always watches the dance floor. She has been dancing longer than YOU have been alive! Second, move on to the 35-45 divorcees, good luck getting rid of them! Only after that, should you try wedding receptions and open clubs. If you run into a "pack" of girls, alternate between "plus" size and "tiny" girls. Make it known you want to dance, not date.
I've never understood the rolling part. It always seemed like something everyone understands except me - like I somehow wasn't in class when that life lesson was taught. How to know when to do it - when to stop - it's always made me so self-conscious on the dance floor. Still seems like a mystery to me.
Leader starts on left foot. What if you are 'left' orientated ie you are 'left handed' and would probably start on 'right' foot. A 'left handed' guitar playing play the guitar 'left handed the other way around with the strings restrung the 'other way around'. How does someone 'left' orientated actually 'dance' when they are always 'on the wrong foot'?
It’s good for our brains to be ambidextrous:) Also since the leader is the one driving and deciding what’s coming next, it’s only fair to the follower to give them the most common start which for most is the right foot :)
The leader is the person “in control” and the follower is complying what the leader decides to do. Here’s a video on how to lead: How to Lead a Dance Partner ruclips.net/video/nBOGpD8WvOY/видео.html
