I can see the pureness of your soul, I really hope you are sueing Scott Carney for Slandering your name. My mother died when I was a child and I watched my father suffer through pain and depression growing up, so I havent felt that pain myself but I can revognize it and I see it I feel it when I listen to you talking about your past. You do such amazing things and inspire me to embrace the cold and get out of my comfort zone and to BREATH. YOU TOUGHT ME TO BREATH, what is a better lesson than that there is none. Thank you Wim. It was in 2020 you helped me break free from my depression. I was in a bad place do to my birth defect. I knew their was so much more beyond this realm. I have a painful birth defect with my kidneys & body i have hundreds of kidney stones and pass them for a living 😢 I have over come this body it started with cold showers than meditation. I kinda had a relapse i got demonized on Facebook for reason unknown that was my income. I bulit a community of 100,000 people. I love my fellow human spirit friends. Thank you 😊 I am tougher than i thought a cold showers broke me free ❤ not sure what i do now but only forward .
I saw a podcast with Wim, and was intrigued, I started ending my showers with going as cold as I could handle, It was strange at first getting out of the shower and felling warm instead of cold, also I felt light headed at first, I felt though after like energised, but also with a clear head and sense of calmness, strange I've recommended this to people, but nobody has taken my advoce, socne then I've downloaded the WH app, and been doing the breathing excercise most mornings, the very first time I did and and held my breathe after exhaling which is usually counter productive to holding your breathe as we think of tge traditional way to hold your breathe as breathing in, but I was astounded tge first time I tried, as I had a strange feeling of not needing to breathe, it almost made me laugh,, also On another breathing excersies I felt like I was vibrating inside, I think it's normal.. but anyway. I can't imagine not doing and exploring the Wim Hoff way, and the best of it is this is just the stsrt of this journey.... oh and my lazy spa in tge garden, that'll be getting filled with ice too, once I've took the showers as far as I can. Does anyone know how when I do the breathing technique and hold my nose, I don't get a pool of water in my mouth but when I don't hold my nose I do. I think the pool of water / saliva, represents the vagus nerve activating so was thinking I've been doing it wrong all these years by holding my nose?
Wim would never beat his family he's too kind hearted. He would be the one getting hurt if you actually knew him u would know that personally i think people are just trying to get money if he had nothing you wouldn't see any accusations brought up
He talked about it on two netherlandish talk shows a few days ago, in one of them his daughter and his son also defended him and said it's not true. And nothing was "exposed", so far the only thing we know for sure is he got a 2 week restraining order because he "assaulted" the 18 year old son (his step son, not his son) of his ex girlfriend, but we don't know what actually happened there, who started it, how extreme it really was etc. Everything else his ex girlfriend said that he allegedly did are so far just baseless claims. I'm not saying he's definitely innocent, nobody knows, but wouldn't be the the first time an ex partner of a now famous/rich person makes up crazy stories for money, attention or because she's just crazy/manipulative. Keep in mind after she reported everything to the police the court dropped the case because there was a lack of evidence for domestic violence, even after they re-evaluated the case and looked at it a second time. So its not as clearly proven as you might think.

Yes he did get that fine with the 40 hours public service, a small monetary penalty and a 2 week restraining order but that was ONLY for the one instance where the police came while he had a "fight" (and the official report doesn't mention that the police saw what he did, just what the son claims he did before they came) with her 18 year old son. But that wasn't about actual domestic violence (the more serious claims she makes like that allegedly he r*ped her, kicked her while pregnant, threatened to kill her etc.), you don't just get a few hours of public work and a 2 week restraining order if you're found guilty of actual domestic violence like that.

There were also people in their 80s and 90s that went with him on those mountains and if you look at older videos on this youtube channel there are a lot of people that tell their story of how they had certain diseases and how the method helped. Also all his claims about how it makes you able to fight regular viruses etc. were tested and proven by actual scientists. And if you want my personal experience, I was sick all the time when I was younger, the slightest cold breeze and I was sick the next day, just 10 minutes without a jacket in cold weather and I got sick. Now I can walk for an hour or more in freezing cold weather while it's snowing in a tshirt and shorts and never get sick. Did his method for 3 years now and never got sick again. Also as the guy in the video said it gives you inner mental strength because you now know you can do hard things which makes every hard thing you have to do much easier, you're not afraid of things anymore etc., makes you feel more at peace.

But I would say between 5 and 10 minutes but if you’re a beginner, gradually get to that point like maybe just 5 more seconds each day
