Hi, Marion, The video where I show fitting the high hip is: ruclips.net/video/xgelbh6SFeg/видео.html
And the time code is: 14:53 - please let me know if you do not find it. I just looked it up and this should get you there. Thank you, as always, Marion, for watching!

Hi Sally, I’m getting reacquainted with draping, making patterns and sewing. I’m using the half scale size pattern slopers that came with my pattern making textbook. I’m currently practicing doing different types of sleeves. The sleeve sloper that came in my pattern making book has two elbow darts. I’m having difficulty figuring out how to combine both darts into one dart using the pivot method. I was winding if you could make a video showing how to combine both elbow darts into one dart using the pivot method

      Hi Javier,
I think an explanation will get you where you need to be and a video will be a while in the making.
Instead of pivot, this is a time slash and spread is better.
Depending on where the darts on the elbow actually are, I think the one larger dart might be best between the two now existing.
      Trace the sloper onto paper.
Draw a line between the two darts from one side of the sleeve to the other side and slash on that line trying to leave a small hinge. Then from the tip of each of the two darts, draw a line to the other side of paper and slash so you can easily close the darts. When you close the two darts the middle slash will open the amount needed for the one dart. Put this on a clean piece of paper and draw lines the length you want for the dart legs.
The length grainline should now be perpendicular to the bicep line (cross grain) and should be in the center of the wrist line. This should do it!

Hi, Javier, Although I have not directly answered your question in the new video, I think it may help you. Reverse the two darts, making the sleeve with no darts then follow the new video I made making one dart. That should do the trick. I hope this is helpful. If not , please me know and I’ll address this again. I think I can make this situation better for you and hope you are having fun sewing and pattern making!
