11:30 - I trained my dog to walk on the treadmill with me!!! I lived in the middle of a flat farm field in the winter, like sideways snow at 40mph was regular. I WASNT walkin my dog in THAT. She was high energy and needed it drained. Treadmill took 3 straight hours of putting her on over and over and over again!!! But as SOON as it clicks that I just want her to walk, it never stopped again! She loved her treadmill walks in the winter!!!

My daughter broke her arm. My husband didn't think it was broke. Gave her a choice to get ice crm or go to hospital. She chose ice crm. SMH. She got both 😂. Had to have surgery. Love you guys

As someone who worked for CVS for 12 years I am absolutely convinced they hand out receipts like that bc that receipt paper/toner is super toxic and they give it in hopes you will need prescriptions from CVS in the future. Literally nothing else makes sense- they are available on the app and no one wants a 12 mile receipt.

Omg I had BOTH those same experiences with my son-and yes, it makes you feel like a terrible parent!!! But he’d had multiple eye exams in his life, so I don’t know why they never caught that. And he was at his dad’s house when he broke his arm, and his dad was the one who ignored it-I took him to the doctor the next day when he got home. And all these years later, I STILL feel guilty.
Literally yesterday I heard someone say that the degree of pain doesn't always correspond to the severity of the injury. Otherwise you'd never feel a paper cut.

In Texas, every other license renewal you have to go to the DMV for renewal. An eye test is done. Now you also have to show your birth certificate! How is a drivers license have to do with driving? Yep, we know why.

@@rhondawest6838You must show the document. Actual birth certificate or certified copy. I'm sure it's about citizenship The first time that I had to do that was at my renewal about 3-4 years ago. Never a requirement before then.
I've had it with new Covid pet owners who haven't a clue how to socialize their pets and cause problems in the dog park, then blame their own shortcomings on others. 3 recent events: I heard a kerfuffle on one of the wooded trails in my dog park and discovered a little Yorkshire Terrier inert and apparently dead on the path, killed by a large muscular dog that was bounding around the corpse. Its owner was blaming the Yorkie's owner who was screaming incoherently, insisting that this tiny dog was the aggression instigator. A nurse came by and checked out the pup, and thought that she detected a heartbeat, so the family took off to the emergency vet. I don't know the outcome, but fingers crossed for the fate of the puppy. Same off leash park, another day, a dog came running up to my two well behaved, friendly dogs. He seemed to want to play. Not a problem. Then his owner came charging down the path, yelling to the animal - which ignored him completely - and ended up throwing his body on the dog and pinning it to the ground before leashing it. When I demurred, he looked up at me, eyes wild, and said, "no, he's a fighter. Now he will be mad at me because I've leashed him. You had better leave." Finally, in a different off leash park, my dogs were running around happily as usual when a woman appeared on one of the paths with a large black dog, on a short leash. She waved at me imperiously and said "My dog doesn't like other dogs. Take your dogs away. " With the other two incidents looming large in my memory, I decided to be ornery: plus as a retired teacher I really resent entitled Gen Zee types ordering me around. I told her that she should not be in a dog park with a dangerous dog. She insisted he was under control, and that I was at fault because I didn't obey her instructions, and besides this area of the park wasn't off leash: "It's in the by-laws! Read them!" she told me. By this point the dog was plunging and barking and she was struggling to cope. I told her that he was not under control, that she should not be in the park with him, until he was fixed and muzzled. I finished off: "You should try giving him Xanax - and maybe take some yourself!" By this point she had disappeared down the hill and taken off.
Sorry about the comprehensive detail but I wanted to give you the full picture. As fellow dog lovers, what do you ladies think? Should I be more tolerant, or should these people and their unsocialized dogs stay out of the parks?

I know I’m going to have to pee during the night. I want a handle on what time that is going to happen. Don’t want it to happen at 4 or 5. So... I have a whole mug of herbal tea before bed. I wake up around 2, go pee. I’m good till 6 a.m. it works for me. I’m 67 years old.
I'm pretty sure the cameramen are instructed by the broadcast network's director on the shots to take. The NFL doesn't control the cameras. Out of 272 games played in a season, Taylor only attended 12. So if a certain fan's team sucked on those days even though they played a different team not the Chiefs, it was the fault of the NFL and Taylor Swift because the camera was on her for a few seconds? Let's get real and just admit your team was awful and would be with or without Taylor Swift. My boss blamed her for his team sucking. He's a Jets fan.
