I was thinking the opposite the other day. Because she’s lost so much weight her face has gotten thinner and it made her look older. That’s the problem with these weight loss drugs. You get “Ozempic face” .. and pumps had a really pretty face.

I first heard “brekkie” in Australia on my first visit in the early 90’s. Australians have done that with many words, like Aussie=Australian, mosie=mosquito,, stubbies=short shorts, Woolies=Woolworth’s department store, cosie or swimmers=bathing costume
The list goes on and on and you will never have a conversation with an Australian without hearing one of these words. It’s apart of their Dinkum language. I love it. I think it makes them delightfully unique.

I've had it with "comfy" and even worse "uncomfy". Especially if they say it 3 or 4 times in a row. If a person's behaviour makes you uncomfortable, say that like a grown up!

When you fill out a “leave it at my house” form, that’s with the company you’re purchasing from. The shipping company has no obligation to you, me or anyone based on that form. Contact delivery services and ask if THEY have a form you can fill out for THEM.
I can almost guarantee that “breaky” is a result of the Australian kids cartoon, Bluey. Bluey is teaching us Aussie slang like Peppa Pig did for British slang.
I am a USPS mail clerk. Even as an employee, I don't understand this phenomenon either. Like Amazon packages we deliver say "Carrier leave if no response" in bold font on the front of it. I tell the carriers that bring that shit back that they're idiots. I also printed out basic instructions in a small booklet form that is color coded and explains in detail how to deliver a package from the truck to the door. 😂😅
I also catch the brand new carriers that come in for their shadow day and explain what they need to actually do with the mail 🤦 The trainers literally come find me to tell them exactly what they need to do in the office and with undeliverable mail...

"Brekkie" has always been used in the UK where I live. A bit like "sarnie" (sandwich). I do love semi-ironic British phrases from Hun culture like "platty jubes" (platinum jubilee), "panny d" (pandemic), "cocky t" (cocktail) and "cozzie liv" (cost of living)

You ladies rock thanks for your podcast. It brings me endless pleasure. I have a suggestion for a topic you also might explore. Crazy neighborhood people are one thing. But throw their kids into the mix and the crazy becomes exponential. You might could do a segment on crazy mothers that teachers have had to put up with.
