This of course on top of other forms of birth control that obviously would need to be low cost/free. I’d start here and then legislate about special tax increases that men of reproductive-age would need to pay regardless of marital status to support the resulting demographic wave of largely lower-income single moms and their babies.
States like my home state of Kentucky are loosing doctors because they are handcuffed by anti-abortion laws and can't give proper health care to women. It's insane, the religious nonsense that goes on in states like mine. I will be leaving my home state and moving back to Oregon.

No one acknowledges that, while the population grew, the number of abortions in the US had been decreasing since 1990 until around the time of the pandemic. Even with the increase at that time the numbers were lower than at the peak. Guess that just wasn't good enough.
Here in Florida when citizens concerned with protecting women's reproductive rights gathered enough signatures to put the issue on the ballot, GQP state lawmakers immediately sued in court to keep the issue off the ballot where ALL Florida's voters could determine the matter for themselves. So much for the GQP claim that states should decide the abortion issue.

Will you ever have a period every month. I hate to even to mention it but will you have a miscarriage. I was raised going to church. Today's christianity is not how it's supposed to be. She’s now a mother at fourteen, navigating that along with eighth grade in an under serviced community. Everyone should have access to abortion, but to even deny it to a raped child is mind-numbingly abhorrent. And of course, once the baby is born the “Pro-Life” community gives zero shits about its wellbeing, not caring if the child must live in poverty, watch their parents overdose, or be shuffled through an abusive foster system. They so adamantly defend life that doesn’t exist (it’s a fucking fetus), but then abandon the living when it means that THEY would actually have to do something. Their hateful ideals suddenly vanish when the price comes out of their pockets or peace of mind
SC rulings like Roe, Obergefeld, and Loving are the federal government and highest court establishing a precedent that citizens can make private decisions about matters that don't affect the broader society. They are social topics, yes, but ultimately lend to the subject of privacy. The defense of those rulings is that... -women should not be denied abortion care, because it may be vital to their health or necessary to preserve their stability, ultimately the reason is irrelevant. - queer persons and couples of mixed race should not be denied the right to marry as laws preventing access to a privilege that the majority of society have would be discriminatory and unconstitutional. The radial conservative approach to these topics ignores the privacy argument because they either don't care about individual rights all that much or recognize that all the people they want to have freedoms already do. The issue is having precedent in the first place for the supreme court or federal government to deny states the authority to control their populations at will. Republicans have already fukked most statehouses across the nation, that's easy for them, but keeping control of the US congress and West Wing has been a battle for the last 80 years. They even say, we don't "need" rulings like Obergefeld and Virginia, "which were wrongfully decided" (in what way? Never a fukking answer), because "no one's really trying to make gay marriage illegal". Just like they say, "we don't need an Equal Rights Act, everyone **already has** equal rights". Except, no they don't! And, yes, people very much are still trying to make gay marriage illegal. We have remain above their bullshifting. When they say, "It's not necessary", call them a fucking liar and list out your state's (trust me, it's all 50) trigger laws, rejected bills/bill amendments, and local theocratic SuperPACs. (They being the candidates/electees/and political activits/pundits, probably don't try to be the liberal prick to all your MAGA neighbors).

No one acknowledges that, while the population grew, the number of abortions in the US had been decreasing since 1990 until around the time of the pandemic. Even with the increase at that time the numbers were lower than at the peak.

Here in Florida when citizens concerned with protecting women's reproductive rights gathered enough signatures to put the issue on the ballot, GQP state lawmakers immediately sued in court to keep the issue off the ballot where ALL Florida's voters could determine the matter for themselves. So much for the GQP claim that states should decide the abortion issue.

Oh my gosh…. Your podcast has so clearly illustrated my feelings about this whole topic. I believe their actions are solely driven by their quest for power. They represent the opposite of what I believe Jesus demonstrated in his life. There were women at the table of the last supper. It's turned into a long and convoluted tracking of the Heritage Foundation, SCOTUS and "Dark Money" groups. But the clips are called "The Scheme" and Sen. I'm back ladies. I love your presentation on this. I tend to go another Direction on this subject. I always like to ask men these questions. Will you ever have a tubal pregnancy. Will you ever have a period every month. I hate to even to mention it but will you have a miscarriage. Will you ever have to make the decision if your baby will be born still or the choice of it you may never get pregnant again that you need to terminate this pregnancy. These are all thoughts and things that happen to women. Why would any woman ever let a man who will never experience any of these things have any kind of decision on what is going to happen with her reproductive Health Care. Not to mention that women should be furious for men trying to tell them how to take care of their bodies. Thanks for your time today ladies you do a great job.

Oh the christians (with a small C). My mom mentioned to one of her friends that my husband is dying (totally okay. She will miss him too). Her friend's reply was 'Is he saved?' I was raised going to church. Today's christianity is not how it's supposed to be. My uncle is still a pastor at 80, and he's still a freaking hippy, card carrying 'dem' who is basically a social worker. An estimated 64,565 rape-caused pregnancies have occurred in states with abortion bans. I read an article about one of these cases, a thirteen year old girl was raped and had no access to abortion. She’s now a mother at fourteen, navigating that along with eighth grade in an under serviced community. Everyone should have access to abortion, but to even deny it to a raped child is mind-numbingly abhorrent. And of course, once the baby is born the “Pro-Life” community gives zero shits about its wellbeing, not caring if the child must live in poverty, watch their parents overdose, or be shuffled through an abusive foster system. They so adamantly defend life that doesn’t exist (it’s a fucking fetus), but then abandon the living when it means that THEY would actually have to do something. Their hateful ideals suddenly vanish when the price comes out of their pockets or peace of mind

SC rulings like Roe, Obergefeld, and Loving are the federal government and highest court establishing a precedent that citizens can make private decisions about matters that don't affect the broader society. They are social topics, yes, but ultimately lend to the subject of privacy.
The defense of those rulings is that...
-women should not be denied abortion care, because it may be vital to their health or necessary to preserve their stability, ultimately the reason is irrelevant.
- queer persons and couples of mixed race should not be denied the right to marry as laws preventing access to a privilege that the majority of society have would be discriminatory and unconstitutional.
The radial conservative approach to these topics ignores the privacy argument because they either don't care about individual rights all that much or recognize that all the people they want to have freedoms already do. The issue is having precedent in the first place for the supreme court or federal government to deny states the authority to control their populations at will. Republicans have already fukked most statehouses across the nation, that's easy for them, but keeping control of the US congress and West Wing has been a battle for the last 80 years.
They even say, we don't "need" rulings like Obergefeld and Virginia, "which were wrongfully decided" (in what way? Never a fukking answer), because "no one's really trying to make gay marriage illegal". Just like they say, "we don't need an Equal Rights Act, everyone **already has** equal rights". Except, no they don't! And, yes, people very much are still trying to make gay marriage illegal.
