The Jeep Wrangler JL came with a lot of new upgrades and fresh looks. The Premium soft top got rid of the zippers and most of the Velcro. Replacing that with a rail system that makes taking your soft top down a breeze.
The 3 Piece Freedom Top featured on the new Sarge Green color, remained nearly the same. Removing the long center screws, it now takes less time than ever to remove your top.
Lastly, the Sky One Touch Power Top, is by far Jeeps greatest top created. With the touch of one button, up to 60 mph, you can experience all of the open air benefits of the traditional soft top while keeping the security of the hard top. Also, the removable 3 window is an amazing feature to experience in person.

@@krystlemurphy8514 I want all of them tbh, I like the look of the hard top but its harder to get off, the soft top is easier but people can go in and steal stuff in your car, and the one touch is kinda perfect but I want the whole thing to come off and thats not possible

I was searching YT for a clear, concise, step-by-step vid to easily take off my 2021 JL soft top. After slogging through a half-dozen worthless ones, I stumbled across this one. It was exactly what I was looking for! In just 3 minutes, Dakota nailed it, and gave me the confidence to give it a go by myself. Lo and behold, I did it without f*ckin anything up! Thanks Dakota!

Actually it is possible to take the part of the car on the sky one touch though it isn’t recommended due to how much parts you have to take off it isn’t impossible to do so

I like the plain white Rubicon with the black One Touch, with regular black fenders and the optional black grill, oh yeah and the tan leather interior (I pick that color to avoid the red dash). 33's are good with me and the new black wheels with the machined lip for 2021 are smokin'. Have a graphics guy create a nice white graphic for a black spare tire covers and if that graphic is tough enough, make a decal to go above the Jeep name on the side. Yeah! That is how I would configure it.
For me It's an easy answere. Ever since jeep came out with this new power soft top roof for the sahara or rubicon jeeps, for me It's the power soft top roof. That power soft top roof speaks to me. That with the 3.6 V-6 engine that comes with the manual transmission with the sahara high altitude. I love the new snasbury color as well.

If u go hard top should b a way u can switch it back to soft top prts mount & such built into design. That way u still hve 2 option from factor & can after market or from factory switch to soft top still. Or model picked determines if soft or hard or option on higher package sky top.

i've owned a YJ with a soft and hard top, and both soft top and hard top versions of the JL 4 door and i have to say the soft top on the JL is my least favorite. yes the YJ soft top used the zippers that would wear over time, but you had the option of just two zippers and you could roll up your rear window, unlike the JL where you have to remove it entirely and set it aside just to have better hatch access. folding down the soft top also leaves it blocking a big part of your rear view. with all the plastic used for the rail system i will be interested in how long these plastic tabs last before they start failing rendering the side and back windows useless. the JL hard top with the removable front panels is by far the best option and an improvement over the older hardtop design. now you can have the open air feel in your jeep without the need to take your entire hard top off. ill be looking to remove the soft top on my 2023 Sport and installing a Hardtop soon

The one touch is awesome... Thinking about def getting this option. Go big or go home right lol.. I was building a Rubicon and its an additional 4500k but def worth it. Especially here in AZ
the soft top is very slick option not sound deadening or as durable but great system, nothing to break on rocks & trees.
that soft top design can't b beat will b around long time, great. I am more indoor security most all weather & durable but sky top is great 1/2 & 1/2 deal if u don't live in cold climate. Your get most sun time in soft or sky top, but if cold not ideal.

best feature of sky top for rock ppl is u can remove side glass so won't break them, brilliant design again will b around long time. I am torn on this1 I know best option is hard top but sky top is hard not to like. Price wise still hard top & toughest top but can't fault any of them depending on person & climate used.
Can any body tell me please , if the sky roof for any reason broke , who gonna fix it , does FCA did parts or put strategy for example if the roof should be changed , ???

Dakota, do you find the noise level in the one touch sky top to be much higher in the interior when compared to the hard top?
For the soft top is there room to store the back windows with the top being fully retracted

nice presentation. 1- does the sky one touch stop half way? 2- Is the hard top better in regards to containing outside noise i.e. freeway? 3- Is the leg room up front for the jeep wrangler same as Rubicon? I'm a tall guy :)

How's the sky power top in wet or winter weather? Is it a good, seal? I'm in Upstate NY and wondering if it would hold up with a foot of snow on top of it lol. Debating if I should stick with a hard top or if I could consider the power top.
The power top does seal, it is reinforced on the inside with metal bars that go across the top
Travis Smith Consider that the sky top cost 4K...kinda pricey...if you go for the 3 pieces hardtop...the two front pieces can be easily removed or later one you could buy the Sunrider from Bestop so you have a hybrid top that way ( I did that ) Wranglers so many options these days. ;-)

Yes, you can order a dual top group which gives you a 3-piece hard top and the soft top from the factory. Its a $2,000 option
