Just bought my white black cloth interior sr5 base in SC $41K out the door. Love it. Literally put the first 6 miles on it. When test drove it, it only had one mile on it. SR5 4x2… it’s my daily driver
I bought a new 2024 4Runner SR5 premium in Texas and was able to get $5K off MSRP. Love, love love the vehicle except not crazy about my exterior Nautical blue color. It looks great but it shows everything, fingerprints, smudges, fine scratches, etc. Next time I’ll go either white or silver for the exterior color for sure. Congrats on your new 4Runner! I just installed the Tyger Armor brand running boards and couldn’t be happier. Super easy and looks great. They get rave reviews as well.
Great advice. Never pay over MSRP. Plenty of good Toyota dealerships out there. Keep looking. No mark-ups at our local lot. They are even discounting popular models.
Got a new '24 4Runner Limited 2 row for dealer invoice in May from a Colorado dealer. California / Nevada dealers were adding dealer installed options and didn't want to come down off of MSRP.
It's kinda ironic a Nissan Pathfinder commercial came on after watching your video 😂 here in Birmingham Al, seen some ads for them, don't look like no mark ups but I haven't been by one to see either
Power Chevy/GMC in Newport, OR contacted us the night before a new GMC AT4X was to arrive at the dealership. They wanted to let us know that there was going to be a $5k dealer markup added to it. We had been discussing this truck with them for over a week with no mention of adding in $5k. To throw that last-minute additional bit of information on us was ridiculous. This was back in 2022 when the AT4X was hard to find. We were VERY interested in that truck. We probably would have bought it because we were willing to drive 2 1/2 hours one way to see it in person.
Out here in Las Vegas, 2 of 4 dealers did not want to below go MSRP. All 4 had marks but all removed them once you talk business. After 2 weeks going back and forth, I found 1 out of 4 who sold me a 24 ORP with KDSS, pro wheels and other add ons for the high 45k. Also got the color i wanted, which was undergroud.
Managed to get the last underground offroad premium going to my dealership. I refused the initial price quoted and then got it for 3800 less. Got all the dealer added accessories for free. The deals are out there, even on these highly sought after 2024 4runners.
Also, NO ONE in the USA wants a 4 cylinder turbo Toyota 4Runner! 🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️. Toyota deserves to fail and lose customers to other truck and car manufacturers.
In my area Washington these Fing dealerships are charging 72,500 for trd pro 4Runner and 64,000 for a trd off-road premium 4 runner Only a fool would pay that price
I bought a base SR5 2022 4x4 with the 3rd row and 60k miles for $33k out the door. Originally was like $35.5k. This is not 2020 anymore. As soon as I got it, did a full fluid change proper maintenance. Honestly, why pay 41k for the same ? This car 60-80k miles is nothing
Hello and thanks for the very informative videos. Let me run this by you. After wanting a 4Runner for many years I finally made a deal to buy one at a dealership in another state. It was a used low mileage Off Road Premium. I arrive at the dealership and after searching for the vehicle the salesperson tells me it sold the night before ! He then offers to make me a good deal on a new one. After a lot of back and forth we decide on an out the door price and a trade in allowance. I buy the new one and finance the balance after some money down and my trade in. A week or so later I find out that the original used 4Runner I had made a deal on but was told that it had sold the night before WAS STILL ON THEIR LOT AND STILL FOR SALE ! Not only that, after a few days they lowered its price not once but twice ! What do you think ? I love the new ride but I spent over 10k than I planned on.
I dont see my dealer adding on a markup to a SR5 Premium 4x4 in PA, but they have added a lot of port installed options like the Third row seat, Running boards, floor mats, etc... that has increased the price to around 50k. Do you think there is still any negotiating power here?
I do not like those additional add-ons at the port sure floor mats are OK as long as they don’t charge $1000 for them But a lot of those add-ons have a lot of profit in them so they should have a lot of leverage to negotiate. I spoke with about 10 Toyota dealerships to find my 4Runner at a good deal.
@IzaguirreC I actually found one here in Southern California. I have a deposit on it and they are stating MSRP it's arriving en of this month early next. Alot of the dealerships that currently have them on the lot are asking 5k - 15k over , and the majority of the trucks are BASE Trailhunters. I secured a loaded TH with gun safe, wireless trailer camera, Molle panels , wheel lock for spare, roof rack ....
Not only that, refuse to pay for any of the dealership non-factory-option add-on rip-offs.
Thing is people out there are still dumb enough to pay a dealer adjustment.

4Runner is useless with 4x2. You definitely overpaid and get what you pay for.

That softex interior is durable and so easy to clean. I have the same color on my 2016 and it looks brand new still !
@markbradl8651
That’s awesome man I was definitely a little worried at first, but the color really grew on me
Glad to hear that about the Softex interior. I was curious about the longevity. Thanks!

Good advice, I epitope never post ANY markups by the dealer or anything that’s dealer added and taxable.
Just got mine 1000 off MSRP in Pittsburgh. Not a great deal but they are working a little . I got a TRD premium in underground . Ty for posting !

Respect the info !!

Don't be afraid to go out of area for one. A 500 car trip to save 4k is worth it.

I only buy from Earl Stewart Toyota. ZERO JUNK FEES! Vehicle price, sales tax and tag. Absolutely nothing else.
Nope, I've been told everything is sold coming onto the lot at Molle Toyota. I won't pay sticker on any vehicle.

I’ve been looking and TRD Pro Models are not marked up anywhere. You can get lower models off all day long.
I live in one of the eastern provinces of 🇨🇦 & the selling price is MSRP.
Inflation and a dealer markup? I will drive my car until the wheels fall off.
Car dealerships in a lot of trouble for next few years

Are the markups should be listed in the contract

@@WheelsandWallets I wish I had that may Toyota dealers near me as that would be good for negotiating. Thanks for the insight.
Remember the days when u used to be able to get 2k off msrp? 😢
For your own benefit, you should change the name of the channel so it's not immediately linkable to you.
I’ve definitely thought about it, but I have nothing to hide some dealerships really like what I’m doing and others do NOT
Hi Do you interested in adding some LED upgrade or a switch panel to your rig? We hope to do some sponsorship with you!
Most definitely, I am interested

Most Toyota dealers are scum, go to Mazda!
Easy for you to say find me a loaded TRAILHUNTER TACOMA I'll pay cash MSRP. Let me know
You’re not searching enough
