I actually managed to skip the entire battle since when I was falling from the destroyed ground, I stuck slightly to the left and got stuck on the ceiling... then I just walked to the left and ended up in the room where you got the key for the lift xD

Love all your vids man, you've helped me out in a few games. Do you leave your ghost there to pick up for an on demand health boost? I'm stuck in the habit of grabbing it right away, but that seems like a good idea.
I kept being punished for sliding instead of parrying. I have a full health bar and that does around 80 percent damage in one shot. This boss is total bs but its not his attack pattern and such that makes him so hateable its his raw power stat. He can also juggle you when stuck in a tornado. Its so effective one time i bugged out and was sent offscreen to die.
Don't forget when he crushed you with his jump and fill the screen with 5 columns of flames at once without giving penitent one a second to stand or dodge...
I think he is too easy tbh. His attacks are pretty slow and often he will just stand there and take hits. Basic pattern recognition makes this boss a cakewalk.
This game just gets hard because I dont use flasks. This channel is a lot of help. I'm one-two shotting every boss. If youre getting pwned WITH flasks..damn maybe just play something else.
Some of the fights in this game are such BS. Not even great game design, just cheap. If you get hit for many of the attacks you cannot even get up before you're hit with another attack. The attack where he drops from the ceiling and shoots up a column of fire is a perfect example

Instantly after this Video, i beated the Boss.
This boss is like midir from ds3 he is hard but he has a simple moveset and if you learn it the fight becomes a joke
He's better than every other boss before him, straight up slow and easy, while this guy requires a good reaction time.
The spinning combo absolutely wrecks him.

Yep! I always do it that way - basically treating the guilt fragment as an extra, instant health and fervor regen. It can save your bacon!

His bigger drop down flames are predictable!? Then how come he kept knocking me right into where I was!?

It's fucked if he hits you once he can stun lock you and do 3x attacks. Shits broken and should be patched
When he starts it you need to slide from one side to another (equip the little toe of limestone to reduce the time between each slide)
