So at 1:15 when you slide there's no candle and a wall. How do I make the wall disappear? I am starting to hate this game. It's like it's not a straight explanation. I don't see anyway to remove the wall.
For the first step it's easier to teleport to Mercy Dreams and simply walk to the right and up. No need to cross the room with the spikes and swinging blades.
If you got trouble with the spike pits and pendulums use the Tiento to your thorned hairs prayer so you can just jump through them, they won't push you off either, also works pretty well with the giant censer.
Same thing with me. It wasn't too bad but after exiting that stupid spikes and axes room in sleeping canvases there's not too much danger, it's just time consuming.

I used this strategy on the PS4/PS5 copy I have. Thx for the help it worked perfectly with reloading to the main menu. Continue to put out quality videos buddy.

Hey guys, you can use the shrine teleports, the upgrade from 20k tears will allow you to travel between shrines, I've tried it with the chalice and the tears stayed, died to recheck if it actually works or not; After death the tears are gone, so I refilled and used the shrine, tears stayed, this way you can save ALOT of time and hassle stress free. Hope this helps anyone who comes here later on c:
On Steam they released a patch after the Stir of Dawn DLC. The patch notes read: “Fixed an issue where the Chalice of Inverted Verses was not emptied after using a Prie Dieu warp point.”

I did this challenge the legit way. It sure was hard and required a lot of planning the route and finding the shortest way to different areas. I remember that my strategy was going from up to down and I used the Golden Linen Cloth to jump from pits to other areas. The last one was in the Canvas, the statue. Then I traveled to DC using the protective prayer to avoid damage and stuns and just used speedrun tactics by avoiding enemies. Totally doable and it was satisfying puzzle. So you just gotta git gud, I guess. But it's refreshing to live these memories and see new solutions to the game challenges in videos such as these. Though I'd like it more, if the strategy doesn't rely on glitch, like this one. But it's not technically cheating, but it takes away the satisfaction of the hard work.

So lemme tell you how NOT to do this. FINISHING THE WALL OF HOLY PROHIBITIONS BEFORE starting this!!! I had not even started the Arc. Rooftops before I splunked the Chalice in the Sleeping Canvases. To make matters worse, I had to save at every point in the journey to the Bile Vessels topped off. Tortured and long are the paths of the Miracle - I finished this successfully without dying. Of note, this is my second playthrough, so I mapped travelling from The Wall to Jondo with the least amount of spike risk...least...
On the third step... On the final ladder you ascend to get to the wall of holy prohibitions... It's not there. I remember seeing that area.... Maybe I forgot to kick down the ladder??

For this quest you are not allowed to fast travel, teleport or die once you partially filled the chalice. The normal way is that you walk from one enemy to the next enemy without dying. The method in this video is kind of a “hack”. Because if you exit the game and load it again after you partially filled it, it will remain partially filled in. But you will be back at Albero and skipped a lot of walking around.

Does the game let's you free roam after finishing the story or does it throw you into NG+ after defeating the final boss? (I'm just starting, but wanna know if I can do most trophies chillin' in free roam...) Thx!
After you finished the story you will be set back right before the final boss and you are able to free roam. Seeing that you just started, please keep in mind that there are missable trophies!

Warning! As of 2021 this does NOT work. If you quit to the main menu your progress will be erased. You now have to complete this in one shot without dying or traveling.

This video was recorded before you were able to upgrade your flasks, which was included in one of the DLC. So the flasks you see in my video aren't upgraded.

Hey man really wish you showed the map at each section because i think the new DLC changed things up.
The only thing that has changed is the background design at the wall of holy prohibitions. The fill locations remained the same.

incorrect, i just used the shrines after filling my cup up halfway and it emptied it
@@MidnightSlasher Just to be clear, you were using the prie dieu shrine teleports? Because I did it on 2 different saves and they both worked fine.

The easiest way to fill The chalice of inverted verses is avoid to pass through Library of Negated Words. Its easier to die there.

You still can teleport but for the quest you are not allowed to. If you teleport you will have to start over again.

No problem! Keep in mind that the Cleofas questline has two paths. Either back up a savegame before doing this quest or do a second playthrough.

The Chalice should always be with you and will be partially filled after killing each enemy. After killing an enemy you can exit.

You have to defeat the boss at Wall of the Holy Prohibitions to get a key, which will activate the elevator. It's called: Key of the High Peaks.
Use the elevator in this region to go to the top of Our Lady of the Charred Visage and there you can knock down the ladder.

Does the game let's you free roam after finishing the story or does it throw you into NG+ after defeating the final boss? (I'm just starting, but wanna know if I can do most trophies chillin' in free roam...) Thx!
After you finished the story you will be set back right before the final boss and you are able to free roam. Seeing that you just started, please keep in mind that there are missable trophies!

Clean start every playthrough. To get the platinum trophy you need to do atleast 2 playthroughs.

Warning! As of 2021 this does NOT work. If you quit to the main menu your progress will be erased. You now have to complete this in one shot without dying or traveling.

@@ThomasTrophyTutorials i realized wjat I had done. I got cute with the linen of golden cloth and fell from the above elevator shaft from that chalice room.
Had Chalice filled, made jump to cross the gap to Chalice room, didn't have Tongues equipped.......
how do u have upgraded flasks yet still have all 10
This video was recorded before you were able to upgrade your flasks, which was included in one of the DLC. So the flasks you see in my video aren't upgraded.
