Awe dang... This is my first video with this channel and you pull a stunt like this? Having me excited for the finish of this build?!!! It's too bad there aren't any cliffs for the treehouse to go along with the cliffhanger.

This is going to sound stupid but this video brought tears to my eyes. When I was a kid the only thing we had to play in was an old rotting shed where the previous owner had done car work so it was full of oil and gasoline stains. It's stank but it was better than nothing and kept us out of the blazing Sun. My dad wasn't involved in my life and would never have done a project like this for me and siblings. Your son is a very lucky boy to have such a loving father.

This is amazing. Thank you for being a good dad and helping our future. I'm a single mom and I had no idea where to go after I set up the posts. Thanks for helping me figure out a treehouse for my boys as well. All we have is janky collected construction materials and used hardware and this is still good advice on how to make it as solid as possible with what we have. Awesome job!

Nice build. The whole neighborhood will enjoy it for years! I'm not an engineer, but one consideration: you may want to add horizontal rafters to the roof structure. I think the downward gravitational pull on the roof will tend to press the load-bearing walls outward (unless there is some engineering/structure in there that I missed). You may need some rafters to provide tension between the load-bearing walls to keep them plumb for years to come. Hey, that rhymes. :) 20:40

You could’ve done exactly what you just did and left the tree…and integrated it (or them) into the design. A neighbor built a tree house that doesn’t depend on trees to support it, but built with trees integrated into the design…and it is fun, funky and magical! But, you’ve got a nice playground, there!

One of my pet-peeves....there is no such thing as a footer in construction, only in documents. It's a Footing. No matter the shape or size. They can be called piers, when they are drilled like you did, but it's still pier footing. If you dug a continuous trench, instead of drilling, it could have been a linear footing, or even a grade beam, but then it would have been a grade beam footing. You did a spread footing for the base of the stair. Since you didn't show any documents, I didn't see any Footers. Period. Watched the series and like the combined shortened summary. Excellent build quality.
