I often wonder what sort of reception the Adore album would've gotten had it been recorded live, or electrically whichever way you wanna put it. Any discernible Pumpkins fan and the critics rate Adore very highly, if not above their prior work and it's a shame it didn't sell like Siamese Dream & Mellon Collie
I'm kind of late to the Pumpkins party.Years ago my brother let me hear Mayonnaise and i loved it!!Then apart from that i'd only heard 'Tonight' which i didn't know who sung it!! Really enjoying discovering them now! :-) Love D'arcy, she's hot! ;-)
@fishbowlfire I know it's been a year, but just for the record, he is not playing a Fender Jaguar as someone else claimed. He is absolutely killing it with a Fernandes Decade V-1.
Really annoys me how in that last chorus, which has arguably Billy Corgan's BEST vocal performance of all time, the camera is zoomed up on D'arcy the entire time. Something about that just irks me.
i hated that drummer when i saw him back in the day playing with them on jools holland but he does a great job on this song. beautiful song, fantastic performance.
yes indeed, Joey Waronker is his name I think. I always think he's overplaying, He seems to play more like a percussionist than a drummer. Shame that when jimmy came back the rest left!
discard my friends to change the scenary,
it meant the world to hold the bruising faith,
now it's just a matter of grace.
a poet, indeed.
It meant the world to hold a bruising faith, but now it's just a matter of grace. Flowers yo!
Such a beautiful song, gets me every time. I think this may be my favourite of theirs, it's up there with Mayonaise and Porcelina for me. Thanks SP!
I wish they would do another Adore type album. So good.
One of the best albums of all time...
corgan is the poet of my youth and has my everlasting respect.

around 1998
my jaw dropped
I love this era of the band, except for Ali G being on drums.....those sunglasses.....
hehehe nice!just let you know he is Kenny Aronoff, a great drummer-if not of the very best out there..
Yeah :) I agree he is awesome! Not a fan of the glasses but fashions change, great drummers remain ;)
does anybody notice Billy shooting death ray looks to the guy shaking the damn sleigh bells too hard....he is PISSED! look for it...death eyes
i have'nt seen such control over the guitar while singin...other than thom yorke..
I can't believe someone can say that. That's NOT even a Fender. Billy used at the time Fernandes Decade V-1.
i hated that drummer when i saw him back in the day playing with them on jools holland but he does a great job on this song.
beautiful song, fantastic performance.
Is this the Botanique Gardens in Belfast?
Which guitar is this? I cant find anything on this one in the gear pages. Not the usual Fender obviously.
from when is this concert ?

the guy on drums sticks out like a sore thumb...in a very bad way...apart from that an amazing performance
