Nice pinky mate i know mindarie can be not bad for them off the rock wall!!! Chicken thigh fillet works great for bait i find, sounds weird but its cheap and works better than most other baits!!!! Thread it on like a worm they love it

I use strips like a worm but has to be thigh fillets to stay on the hook well. For the price of it worth a shot anyway for me it outfishes everything!!! Even caught a sambo on a big piece while salmon fishing
Hey bud 👋 first one was a big dog for sure, still spewing about it haha 😂 but adds to the fun/learning anyway haha I should have let it tire it’s self out at bit before bringing it close to the rocks, ya live an learn haha 😆 thanks for watching man appreciate it 👊🏼✅🐟🎣
Preparation and perseverance paid of Jack, ripper fish mate! As an aside, it sounds like your bail arm roller bearing may have seen better days (I may be wrong). I've had to replace the bearing in my Saragosa a couple of times. Check our Plaig bearings on-line, they'll have what you need.

I'm just wondering what hooks you use (size/type) and also what three-way swivel and also the size for the sinker aswell. I would REALLY appreciate if you could tell me. Thanks :)
Hey mate 👋 firstly thanks for watching & taking the time to comment ✅ I always use blackmagic tackle leader & always use blackmagic CPOINT hooks in size 6/0 or 7/0. Really good hook for a hard snapper mouth as they have 3 razor sharp micro cutting edges at the point of the hook, check them out if you haven’t already ✅🐟 sinker off the rocks in average to rough conditions is always a 5 or 6 ounce grapnel sinker, sucks when you loose them to the rocks etc as they are a little pricey but they hold ground so well and make it so much easier to fish! Hope this helps, all the best an good luck on the landbased snapper quest, time is the key ingredient 🎣✅🐟😎
Great video I just came across your channel. I’m giving it ago this weekend. It’s a little bit windy. May I ask? Why do you have that first hook unexposed? Mindarie?

Hey man, yes like any spot north mole is a great spot but the conditions etc have to be right for it, as I rule of thumb with the rock walls fish the first or last light into the night, and often the harder it is to fish the better the fishing will be, swell and wind smashing into the rocks will knock crabs etc off bringing the snapper in close to feed.
