    Great vid. I do the same for the rigs except with the sinker line heavy is best so it’s stiff and doesn’t get tangled with the rest of the rig. I then tie a small 20cm piece of 30lb on the end of my sinker dropper as my breakaway. That way you don’t loose 4 foot of 100lb line when the sinker tangles up only the last 20cm of 30lb.
    I join it with a surgeons knot real easy

    Good starter reel would be an old american made penn 850. Bullet proof reels. I use 1 whenever i have big work to do.

    Hey guys how much swell is enough for snapper to show up without a storm?

    • @compleatanglernedlands4318
      @compleatanglernedlands4318  Год назад +1

      It depends on a few other factors as well such as wind direction, wind strength and water clarity. In general a minimum of 2.5m swell with a westerly or north westerly wind in excess of 15-20knt and murky water is pretty ideal for snapper from the shore. In saying that, if the water remains murky after storm fronts there is still and chance of nailing fish from the shore, particularly off the beaches.
