A wizard is never late... he arrives precisely when he means to.
KelenaeV 300 dead soldiers at helms deep😂
@@teutonicorder6284 Pretty much lol
Nor does he clap during a performance. Fool of a Took!
Well said.
Frodo: (Wakes up in Rivendell. Finds Gandalf beside him.)
Frodo: Where am I?
Gandalf: You are in the house of Elrond.
Frodo: What happened, Gandalf?
Gandalf: …I was delayed…..
I feel sorry for the generations that didnt get to experience these films on the big screen while growing up
Riggghhtttt??
They still can experience it growing up. A lot of theatres, at least where I am, still show this trilogy. They recently showed all 3 extended movies at IMAX in my home city.
It's still happening from time to time I'm actually going to see the same thing but with LOTR1 the 7th
@@VictusPrime The extended editions are playing across Canada. At the very least Return of the King still has a few more screenings.
I definitely agree brother, i went an saw this Masterpiece 18 years ago, and this scene is just so amazing i get goosebumps every time.
I wish i could watch the WHOLE movie with live orchestra.
I did was. My wife got us tickets to see one of the Washington DC symphonies playing LoTR The Two Towers. It was awesome.
It was a bit immersion breaking occasionally when the audience would applaud a particularly good soloist and I would be like..."what? But the scene isn't over...Oh...right. I'm at a live concert AND an epic movie!"
ㅇㅈ
We just had it this in Montreal
With audiences clapping all the time , not very enjoyable
I've uploaded Evenstar from the same performance, you can check it out on my channel. Will try to upload more. Thanks for watching :)
Even Sauron liked this
No fucking dislike, I have never seen that in my whole youtube viewer career.
You're right
Sauron My Brother...

@@gogsas ㅋㅋㅋ
Peter Jackson was born to do this scene. absolutely breathtaking
I think it is more about the music, Howard Shore carried this scene on his back. ;)
@@ondrapsenicka4762 It was both
'When Winged Rohirim arrived.'
I don't know any more. After the Hobbit(s) came out, I've lost faith.

They are clapping because their joy cannot be contained
One of the best scenes in the entire trilogy. Very emotional.
You mean entire all movies
@@jeretar 👍
@@jeretar everyone says that every single scene that is beautiful in the trilogy will be said one of the Best Scene in entire trilogy
2nd to the Charge of the Rohirrim (:
In the story of cine.
Lotr Orchestra is something else. As a kid I was at one here in Germany and they got no one else than Sir Christopher Lee narrating a few scenes from the book between the pieces. I didn't know how lucky I was, rip legend
Wow, that sounds incredible, what a gift! Hope you get to treasure that memory for a long time! Happy for you but darn it I have to admit, I am also jealous!
@@Daggz90 yeah you start to appreciate how much these moments are worth when they are inevitably gone
I remember seeing this on the big screen when i was 12 years old . Literally the ppl couldn't help but clap their hands during the movie at this specific scene. No words can describe my feelings seeing this on the big screen for the first time
in 2002
+Najima the reader.
I would love to experience this in the cinema one day.
"Literally the people couldn't help but clap their hands during the movie at this specific scene." Say this to the idiots who hate on people for clapping during the scene! This proves their pansy "concert etiquette" and sensitivities WRONG. It's perfectly natural to clap, especially when you've got live musicians to thank. There's NOTHING wrong or disruptive about it.
Totally get your point. It didn't feel like an ordinary classical concert and the clapping came in naturally from most of the audience. The orchestra seemed to enjoy it too!
@@jmiliad Overcome with emotion. Amazing Scene, amazing music, the young singer is nailing it in every way possible. Heroism on display, something we rarely see in the world. Just go with it, it's what makes the performance even better, knowing people are caught up in the moment unified in what they are witnessing and hearing that they can't help themselves. This is true art. True story, and something Hollywood has lost in this era of woke, and likely, will never, get back. These movies were once in a lifetime. And perhaps, once in history seeing where we are headed as a nation and a people.
so people ruined it by clapping? I’m sorry man. hate when People clap or cheer during movies, blocking out ten music and dialogue. should be banned from theaters
@@supremeleadergnkdroid3202 then watch the movie at home.
This is the most beautiful scene I have ever seen in my life. I cry everytime... No other movie was able to give us this feeling and there will never be another one like tha
It would be a dream to go and see these movies with a live orchestra
Lot's of concerts like this one are taking place all over the world. Hopefully when they come back after the pandemic, you can find one near you!
@@jmiliad hopefully
I can’t watch this video without holding my tears. We are so lucky witnessing this masterpiece.Yet there are no words explain how greatful am i for tolkien peter jackson howard shore and thousand talents who works in turkish, english nor elvish.
Same here friend, same here.
I'm about to burst out crying like a baby!
Absolutely agree
The natural imperfections of the 11 year old solo singer suited this scene amazing, goosebumps!
Every time. I've watched these movies countless times, and every time Eomer yells "To the king!!!" I tear up. I love these movies so much!
Such a powerful scene - light over darkness - amazing ❤
The Lord of the Rings, the best movie trilogy ever made. The Lord of the Rings soundtrack, the best soundtrack ever made !
Ухххх мурашки по коже
God it’s beautiful..
That scene when Gandalf yells give me goosebumps
The beat scene I have never seen ❤
100000% That's the moment when the tears I hold back just burst!
Don't clap during the performance ffs!
DON'T!
I'm pretty sure those claps weren't voluntary lol
Jonathan Selaya I mean they're doing the soundtrack for the whole movie, a long time not to clap...
I have no idea how you can be calm and not clap at least during such moment.
They're clapping the soloists you muppet it's common performance/audience etiquette.
Clapping is an involuntary reaction to something as emotionally overwhelming as this scene.
Doesnt matter how I watch this scene
Still gives me goosebumps and chills
Goosebumps!!!!!! My nose felt hurt also trying to avoid my teary eyes
Helm's Deep is the best cinematic experience you'll ever get!
Every year theaters need to rerelease these masterpieces!
My all time favorite scene from the trilogy. Just nothing else like it.
I think the same.
Love this scene.
I say this line almost after every half an hour... 😂
Nah appearing in the dawn at Minas Tirith was more badass. It was "here we stand, or here we die. We have no other choice" this was certainly much more uplifting and great to end a film, but the Charge of the Pelennor Fields was much, much impactful
Why do I always shed tears whenever seeing this scenery
Because it touches your heart
same here.
"Not alone" - 2 most beautiful words in the entire script
We all shed our tears...
If that's not your most epic moment as a musician, I don't know what is
Not bad The only thing missing is the sound of the gunshot taking out the people who clapped.
lmao
clapping the soloist is standard audience etiquette
Rofl, this comment is epic in my eyes XD
@ ShadySnore I know you are trying but proper etiquette for symphonies or concerts are to clap after the soloist has finished
I laughed out loud reading your comment hahaha
EPIC series of three fantasy adventure films
EPIC acting performance
EPIC soundtrack
EPIC Special visual Effects
EPIC the novel
Thanks for watching!
Watched this with an orchestra a few years after the movies came out. The scene was so fresh in everyone's mind that the entire dress circle all stood up and roared "TO THE KING!" even the conductor was so overwhelmed that he thanked the audience for their participation. I still remember the room thundering with the music and the voices all at once. There is something magical in a story for the ages. Lord of the Rings did that for so many people
Get chills everytime I watch this scene.
man i wish i could have seen this live. even now i was just sitting here giggling with tears in my eyes
You'll get your chance!
My favorite scene in the entire trilogy. My second was Boromir’s badassery and death at the end of Fellowship.
This guy responds to comments even after 5 years, you have to respect him! Big like and thanks YT for recommendation!
Here to serve my fellow LOTR fans 👊 Thanks for stopping by 🙏
The strongest moment in the world cinematograph of all times!!!
This is masterpiece of masterpiece!
This movie is legendary forever lord of the rings ❤️
most emotional moment in whole trilogy for me - to the tears
Goose bumps, goose bumps, always get so many goose bumps when i watch Lord of the Rings
the mighty rush with Gandalf on his white horse, coming over the beasts with the sun , for me is the most epic scene in movies of all time!
Omg. My tears literally came out when gandalf jumped with Shadowfax into the goblins. This is such a masterpiece.
Uruk Hai man people will eat your comment up

this scene is the best of the best of LOTR trilogy
Goosebumps get me every time when i see this scene of Lord of the Ring!
Man, I now live in Beijing. They came and performed the Fellowship live; it was one of the best cinema experiences. But the other two movies with a live orchestra were never aired as far as know.
Never gets old. Still gives ne chill
I think the solo vocalist done a much better job here than in the movie. The different pitch adds so much more gravitas to the scene
You can't be serious ! ! !
The imperfections make it so much better
I cry everytime I see that scene its just i dont know how to express my feelings. but with a live orchestra? I'd die with heart attack :)
It was truly breathtaking
I'm going tonight to see the Two Towers at Radio City Hall, can't fing wait for, and this scene is going to be epic!
Thank you Howard Shore for composing so many beautiful tracks and thank you to everyone in the orchestra for helping play it. I really love the trilogy's but i don't even want to think about how different id feel about them if Howard didnt do such a phenomenal job
Oh my god these goosebumps are some of the most intense I've ever had. Bravo!

Outstanding.
Peter Jackson and team became immortals producing such a great masterpiece and greatest trilogy of all time!
I'm a teacher, and 95% of my pupils who actually gave lotr a chance (it ain't many who did), hated it. How generations change..
Goosebumps all over!
Why are you clapping during a performance? o_O
In my culture it's disrespectful to clap during a performance.
It's Russia, what did you expect. xD
It`s Bulgaria
cant withhold emotions i guess. ! Its goosebumps giving.
Most people have only ever been to rock and pop concerts. They don't know that it's rude to clap during an orchestral performance.
Impresionante! Desde Argentina mis respetos!
By the far the coolest thing I’ve ever seen so spot on
Seing the movie like this has to be the ultimate experience.
beautiful!
No tengo palabras para expresar lo maravilloso que es esto.
I’d love to see the entire extended Lord Of The Rings trilogy like this with a live orchestra. ❤ 😊
